  • "This pub has a really cool vibe and an amazing beer list. We went with a group of 6, each of us ordered different things and thoroughly enjoyed all of it. My brother had the PBJ burger and he was literally speechless about how good it was. Service was fast as were food and drink times. We will be back."

  • "Okay, so I have to admit I didn't get this "gastro pub" thing where very famous top-ranked chefs open simple pubs. That was until I ate at Michael Mina's Pub 1842. If every menu item is as good as the burger that I had then I can't wait to try every other celebrity chef's pub."

  • "The cheeseburger is fantastic, great beer menu. Their other food just ok."

  • "This meal was good, but a little disappointing. Had the lobster potpie that they're known for, and was surprised to find it's a whole lobster baked under a pastry. This resulted in a lobster that was a bit rubbery. Otherwise, foie gras and some other apps and sides were very good. We went with a large group from work and they accommodated us fairly well until the waitress spilled some foie gras juice on someone's blouse. This seemed to throw the waitress way off her game, and her repeated apologizing actually got to be pretty annoying. Move on next time. Overall a decent meal, but it seems that Micheal Mina's focus has shifted to other endeavors. (I much preferred the burger I had at his new Pub in the MGM)"

  • "Everything about Pub 1842 was wonderful - except the very very loud music...we could barely hear each other talk....we were a party of four. Tried the Salmon, Fish & Chips and the Cowboy Ribeye....every single dish was fantastic! Server was great - beer was fantastic. The other couple we were with ordered vodka on the rocks and they were a bit surprised at the very ungenerous portion of drink - but the quality of food more than made up for that."

  • "The beer list is excellent, service was good, and the vibe is cool. The food probably deserves a better rating, but I went out on a limb with my order. The Peanut Butter Crunch burger was good, but not great. It felt like it was missing something. It needed one extra flavor or something. It was a little dry, flavor overwhelmed by the PB. The fried pickles were great though as were the french fries. I would definitely go back, and next time I'll probably just order a classic burger."

  • "This restaurant is so extremely loud that it is nearly impossible to talk. Also the lobster corn dog was terrible/inedible."

  • "Food was good but I wasn't warned how spicy my dish would be. The staff was most helpful when my husband had a minoredical issue. A bit more expensive than I would have expected for this kind of restaurant but I understand it's the chefs ne that costs."

  • "Food was great! Started with maitake mushrooms which are the closest thing in taste to the morels we find in Midwest in spring. Wife had tomato soup with lobster grilled cheese and thoroughly enjoyed. I'd been looking for good fish & chips for a while and these didn't disappoint. Fish was flaky and moist, breading was a little heavy, but the taste made up for it. I tend to drown my fried fish in vinegar, but only used a little lemon juice. While I could see the dill in the tartar sauce to be a bit overwhelming for some, it was perfect for my tastes. I paired my meal with an Innis & Gunn original and couldn't have picked a better match. Prices were higher than similar fare, but that can be explained by location. Would definitely return."

  • "The Ahi Tuna Poke app and Scottish Salmon entree were fantastic -- meant to try the Peanut Butter Crunch burger with bacon jam but never got a chance to! Very accommodating staff -- our conference group changed size a number of times, but they didn't blink and just got us a smaller/bigger table."

  • "Hoping for a chance to try a celeb chef joint that would fit our low budget- Pub 1842 exceeded our expectations. Service was amazing all around. Our waitress was exceptional and had the perfect recommendations. Mains: Fish and Chips were a bit salty for my taste, wife's burger was flawlessly executed. Dessert: Butterscotch custard was worth every workout reversing, decadent bite. Best dining experience we had on this visit to Vegas."

  • "So much fun! Super delicious naughty food. The peanut butter burger was awesome. Something you will only get in Vegas. The cocktails were great. All very different. Just a really fun place to eat and delicious!"

  • "We had a pre-show birthday dinner here. The food & drinks were good, service enthusiastic and friendly but somewhat inept. Put in the wrong order for one entrée, ok, it was quickly corrected. Brought the bill during dinner, having lost track of showtime and when we needed to finish. Then when he realized his mistake and returned, I asked about dessert, he said a birthday dessert was coming, and left. Someone delivered one *small" slice of cake and 7 forks! Ridiculous to presume that was sufficient for the whole table. We finally had to go chase down some dessert menus, but by the time our server reappeared it was too late to order anything else. OK choice for convenience and casual food, just don't expect top-notch service."

  • "Cool bar with good bar food. To me this is a bar that has food. Very loud and not bad for watching a game. I got Nachos to start the cheese was not melted cheese but rather liquid...everytthing else on the nachos were great but I was a little dissapointed in the liguid cheese...tons of nachos so not getting ripped of there. Dad had ribs very good and I had the burger above avg. I think this place was good but it is non the lower side of my luxary pubs in vegas list."

  • "We tried several places during our weekend in Vegas, and found Pub 1842 to have the best food by far! If you are interested in small bites, this is the place to go. My tomato soup and lobster grilled cheese rocked. My husband tried the fish tacos, and enjoyed them as well. We would recommend the six shooter for an interesting drink experience!"

  • "Extremely loud. Very short pour on cocktail, where I even asked,"where is the rest of it?" Glass was half full.skirt steak was good- no need for the "steak sauce""

  • "Mina should think twice about having his name on this place. The concept and menu is great on paper, but the execution of the food and the service need some work. We were a large party but the place was a ghost town and I had exactly one refill of my soft drink on 2 hours. Everyone else had cocktails and beer wheels. Perhaps the bar is better?"

  • "I liked it it was conveniently located near the David Copperfield theater. The food was very good. The service was outstanding. And it was very convenient to be able to book it through open table."

  • "We planned to eat here on Christmas and loved the burgers so much that we came back a few nights later. There are a lot of places in Vegas to eat, especially burgers and pub food but, Pub 1842 was so outstanding that we came back! On both nights our burgers were cooked exactly the way we like/ordered them, the sides were large enough to share and really tasty. We had the Magical Mushrooms, Mac & Cheese and Brussels sprouts. We enjoyed the house special 1842 Burger, the gastro-delsih Peanut Butter Crunch burger - try it - and The Champ (burger). We also had the Beef Brisket and it was fall apart tender with so much beefy flavor that was perfect with the jalapeno corn bread and baked beans. If the place was full it would be loud."

  • "For those who know their liquor and their beer this a place to visit. The drinks and food are professional casual. It is a four and five star treatment to 3 star food. The ingredients, prep, and menu are all executed with all aspects considered. The drinks are amazing, the beer list long, and the food is done right. (Except their "chicken wings") Service has been great at the bar and hit and miss in the dining room. This last visit was the best service we have had there. This is a place for people who care how things taste."

  • "I expected the food to be better. It was ok, nothing amazing. Also, I was surprised nothing special was offered or encouraged for the birthday we were there to celebrate. A poor choice for celebrating a special event."

  • "This is place to go for great appetizers, huge (33oz) beers - normal sizes too, and the BBQ is really good too. Service was great. I haven't been to a Michael Mina restaurant that has disappointed yet!"

  • "My kids loved the pork ribs and fish and chips (I tasted the fish and it was very good). My wife had the burger and she loved it. My burger was a bit dry, but the flavor was great. The food was good...however, the price was outrageous. For four meals, one app, and three drinks...the bill came to $200."

  • "I expected more upscale atmosphere from offering provided by Michael Miller. This is really more of a sports bar that has food that somewhat better than the average sports bar. With two of us dining one meal was pretty good the other just fair the barbecue sampler plate was better than expected and was good, the turkey burger was average to fair."

  • "We dropped in here for lunch. We ordered the Crispy Duck eggrolls to share and told the server we wanted to eat these first before receiving our other dishes. Unfortunately, our entrees were delivered just moments after receiving the appetizer. Although the restaurant was not at all crowded, we felt rushed and decided not to linger."

  • "The pub was supposed to be open before 10 am. We had 10 am reservations so we could watch the Chargers playoff game. There were several people waiting for the pub to open in time for kickoff, which they did not. The staff could not have been more distant and unfriendly. The tvs were great, but the rest was mediocre at best."

  • "We were excited to try out this new restaurant - especially being Michael Mina's place and we were quite disappointed. The servers were very nice and it they kept the atmosphere more fun but the food was mediocre. I had the filet which was actually pretty good along with an amazing side of mushrooms. My wife had an appetizer of the corn dogs and they were not good at all. The hummus was bland. Overall it was an ox experience but there are too many others good pub spots in the area to try this again."

  • "We wanted to try something new while in Vegas, and this pub was our pick. The atmosphere was nice, clean, casual, and relaxed. Our waitress was wonderful as she was attentive, and knew the drink selections very well. When the food arrived it was good. The brisket was well done as requested, the cornbread moist, and the beans were not bad. Over all the food is good, but a little over priced for something so everyday."

  • "That would be the Peanut Butter and Chips Burger. A bartender at Whiskey Down recommended this burger when we mentioned where we were going for dinner. The burger has a peanut butter sauce and potato chips - don't crinkle your nose. This burger is so tasty. Start with some Frickles and you will have a tasty meal."

  • "A great find in an overwhelmingly large casino. Was looking for a simple lunch place where I could get decent food and a good beer (or glass of wine). The restaurant was mostly empty (I had a pretty early lunch) but service was great and the food was really good. The beer list is great and lots of fun. I would have returned for dinner, had I not had plans off the strip with a colleague. Great addition - perfectly unfancy but delicious food and drink."

  • "Very good service with detail and accurate description of an uniquely prepared menu items. Dinner was better than expected for "Pub food". Although expensive for "Pub food", definitely worth the price. Excellent restaurant before a concert at MGM arena, as the service is fast and friendly and it is located close to the entrance of the arena. Wine by the glass selection was an excellent value. Appears to be kid friendly. My 13 year old son really enjoyed his meal and experience. He rates it as the best fish and chips in Vegas as the fish was very fresh and moist."

  • "LIked the food and atmosphere but it definitely wasn't quiet. Not really sure what the theme was but it was pub food with bbq. There were dinner items on the menu but the atmosphere was more like burger and a beer. The food and service was good."
