Our waitress was very pleasant. The restaurant was not busy but it was apparent that the kichen was having some issues getting food out in a timely way. We waited over 30 minutes for our appetizers and our waitress was apologizing a lot (we were okay- we felt badly for our server). My pasta dish (Alla Firenze) was very watery and was very salty. It had both bacon and proscuitto so it may have been that too much salt was added, in addition. There was at least a cup of broth in the bottom of the bowl. The server brought me a complimentary dessert because she saw that I didn't eat much of it, which was very nice of her. Will try it again and chalk it up to a bad night in the kitchen.

This was the third time in a row I have had the seafood ravioli dish and it again was outstanding. So often a restaurant will wow you then the next time it will disappoint. Not at Primavera! The wine list has improved and we enjoyed one of our favorites. The dessert menu is all new and OMG we never order one each, but we did and both were outstanding. One of our very favorite places to go!

Our son used to work here, so we have a soft spot for Pasta Primavera and they never disappoint. My husband had the seafood mix with pasta and I, the Chicken Pesto Gorgonzola. Both were delicious and very generous servings. In fact, I took half of mine home in order to leave room for a delightful Tiramisu that my husband and I split - it's a huge piece and definitely enough for two. They have an excellent wine list, but it was our anniversary so we brought a sentimental bottle of our own; their corkage fee is very reasonable. Brian took very good care of us and Manager, Manuel was extremely cordial. Definitely a favorite place of ours. We highly recommend it.

San Ramon isn't known for its restaurants, but Primavera Ristorante should be getting more attention. Great service and darn good italian food. Try the carbonara - so delicious! And the veal piccata was very good too. We will definitely go back.

We have been to Pasta Primavera a few times. Don't know what happened...perhaps because of Mother's Day it was overwhelming for the restaurant? The food was just mediocre (and the food used to be very good) and the service was spotty at best. We did not receive one item that we ordered as an appetizer, just as well because the bill was high. We will look for other venues for special occasions.

The fact that we went to dinner here 4 weekends in a row should say something. We live in the area and just wanted to try something new. The reviews on OT were great so we decided to give it a try. Everything we have had has been fantastic, Chicken Piccata, Shrimp and Lobster Risotto, Caprese salad w/ Avocado just to name a few. Great menu, lots of choices...wine list is good, even a nice selection from Italy. The staff is also very good. We are very happy that we decided to try something new!

I went to Primavera because a friend was in town and Gianni's wasn't open on Monday. When I got there, I realized it was really called "Pasta Primavera". I had the Salmon Fresca, which was supposed to be a salad, but there were no greens. The salmon was good, but of the accompaniments - canned artichoke hearts (ugh!), tomatoes, fennel, avocado - I only ate the tomatoes and fennel and a bit of the avocado. There was a lot going on on this plate but not what I wanted. My friend had the shrimp salad which she said was fine. I noticed something they called "jambalaya" on the menu - creamy seafood over fettuccine! Jambalaya is a rice dish - chef should look up the recipe. Our server was nice and competent. I will not be going back.

I hadn't been here for quite awhile and it is just as wonderful if not better then my previous experiences. Our waiter was very engaging and fantastic, the atmosphere is lively but not to loud. The food was outstanding and is priced comparable. The whole evening was super and will definitely be back! Thank you for a great experience!

First time diners at Primavera...and we loved it! Our waitress was wonderful...really knew the menu and made great recommendations. Loved the calamari appetizer...the calamari was so tender and the presentation was very unique. The bread and the dipping sauce were absolutely delicious and worth going just to have that! Our only knock on the restaurant is that we felt it was a little on the expensive side, but we had a great overall experience and will definately return!

I love coming to this restaurant. I try to make it at least once a week for my Fresca Salad. They make it just the way I like it with blackened salmon, instead of the regular salmon. All the salads are fresh and tasty. I've also tried some of the seafood pasta dishes, the Monte Carlo is really spectacular. The prices are a bit high for a daily lunch spot, but for the service, freshness and taste, I try to get here as often as possible.

I had a hard time deciding which salad to order for my entrée as many of them would be my first choice. Someone ordered tea and they brought out a wooden box of at least 12 different kinds. You also have a choice of different pasta grains for your entrée. The bread was warm and the dipping oil was tasty. Yes, I would go back again!

We ate here New Years Eve. Very crowded but yet the wait staff didn't make us feel rushed or as if they were too busy to take care of us. There were a few glitches due to the amount of people but overall it was a nice experience. The food is always very good and dependable, which is what I like most about this place. The noise level is always quite loud but if you are familiar with this restaurant that is to be expected.
