Primavera Ristorante- CoronadoWining a girls heartI went to the Primavera for a very nice date with my girlfriend. Never having been there before it was a bit hard to find parking when that street in Coronado is hopping, but we made it work. The restaurant had amazing service with the most polite and attentive host and servers. The food was the perfect temperature, and tasted great. Finally the ambiance of the restaurant was amazing. Everything looked very beautiful and fancy, and the lighting was perfect. This is a great place for a nice dinner, and it definitely won over my girlfriend. We went for dinner on our 10th anniversary and were seated at a semi-private booth (romantic points scored!). The staff were all very attentive and we felt special. At the end of a very fine dinner a tiramisu dessert was brought to our table, complimentary for our anniversary. As this is my wife's all-time favorite dessert, this was a big deal and very generous of everyone at Primavera. The restaurant staff was professional and extremely courteous. The good was good but what sets this restaurant apart is their staff. I had flowers delivered to the restaurant and the staff helped me coordinate that. They also provided my date with a dessert. That was totally unexpected. The delicious house speciality caprese salads and baked mushroom starters were followed by a scrumptious halibut seafood special and an off menu pasta worthy of the finest in Rome. The finest chianti reserve wines and a great dolce completed our experience as we viewed another sold out house. A lovely room and friendly waiters completed our evening, and, all this came at a surprisingly reasonable price. The room is gorgeous, the service friendly and knowledgeable, and the food, Italian like you never tasted. This last vist we both enjoyed the spectacular house caprese, delicious tomatoes, the finest prosciutto , onions and seasoning that shall make you kiss your tonsils. The entrees were a wonderful penne pasts, a favorite of my wife and I had the nightly seafood special, and, it was the best seafood I have ever eaten.
