"I like the new menu. Tried the canelloni (made in house). Veal and spinach filling was fresh and not over-seasoned. Might use just a tiny bit more sauce, but most restaurants drown the dish. Next time I will try another one of the new fish dishes. As always, service was attentive, timely and not-overbearing. Love this restaurant."

"I enjoy this restaurant when my friend comes into town. They have healthy italian food made with utmost care unlike most mediocre restaurants in Coronado which are overpriced. Ambiance is nice. This restaurant may be a little on the pricey side but worth it and service has been excellent most of the time."

"I've been to Primavera twice now and both times it has been excellent. The service is attentive but doesn't "hover," the food is always incredible and fresh, and the ambiance is comfortable and relaxing, but still elegant."

"Fine Italian dining. As I am from NY, I have high expectations of Italian food and Primavera did not disappoint. I had the lobster risotto, which I understand is a new additon to the menu and I loved it! It was not overly creamy or rich. The sauce was delicious and the risotto cooked perfectly. The steamed clams appetizer was spectacular. The size of the clams, all cooked to perfection in a garlicky broth were absolutely scrupmtious. The service was attentive and smart. I would defintiely go back the next time I am in San Diego."
