  • "The place was loud and not comfortable. Specifically asked for a booth and was placed at a table practically on top of another group. The portabella mushroom burger was horrible with so much water and "extras" that the bottom bun was soaked and I could not eat. To add to the discomfort, the waiter, (it was his first day) kept flirting with my friend and ended up getting my order wrong and bringing me salted chips (UG) when I had ordered potatoes. Will NOT be recommending this place to anyone!"

  • "Before going to Prasino, I checked the menu on line. There are a variety of choices for the vegan / vegetarian, which we had a couple of vegan eaters in our group. They thought the food was wonderful. We also had a couple of young children (ages 1 & 4) who also liked the food! No one was disappointed and thought that the food and atmosphere were wonderful and would absolutely go back!"

  • "The food was good and the staff was friendly. Unfortunately, it was very noisy! As a reference point, I would say the noise level was about the same as a school cafeteria. Actually, except for the quality of the food, the entire place had a cafeteria feel to it. If you go, be prepared to shout across the table to be heard. Definitely not a place to go for an intimate meal and conversation!"

  • "I have lived in St Charles for many years and have eaten at Prasino many times. This is undoubtably the best restaurant in St Charles. Our table for 4 was ready, we were immediately seated, and our waiter appeared in an instant. The Prasino salad was excellent. Entrees of portabella mushroom burger, grilled shrimp, salmon, and St Louis pork steak were also superb. Our waiter remained attentive throughout our meal and was well versed in the preparation of our dishes. The noise level was such that conversation was easy. I would highly recommend Prasino's for breakfast, lunch, or dinner when in St Charles."

  • "This was our first visit to Prasino, but I'm sure it wont be our last. We thoroughly enjoyed it! We did splurge a bit since it was a birthday outing so it was more expensive than our usual lunch. We had the lobster roll and would get that again, yummy!! The almond gooey butter cake was outstanding too. It's a very impressive place to dine, whether it's brunch, lunch or dinner with very good service. It's interesting to note all of the recycled materials used in the décor."

We can't believe this is actually in St. Charles, MO! No need to cross the bridge when you have a lively place to meet, eat, and mingle on this side of the river."

  • "My wife and I sat on the patio for happy hour. Our server (I think his name was George) was so great. He had recommendations for food and drinks, and all were amazing. The short rib nachos and the chicken wings were both excellent. I had a whisky-lemon cocktail (from thier signature list) that was also really good. The service and ambiance are definitely upscale, without being stuffy or intimidating. We can't wait to go back for a full dinner soon."

  • "Went to Prasino in St. Charles on a first date. Very cool place. The atmosphere is vibrant but not overwhelming. Obviously a lot of thought behind the decor. If you go there ask for Schyler. He exemplifies attentive, friendly service. Had a dragon sushi roll which was great. Strip steak had a little too much fat, but no big deal. Overall, would definitely recommend Prasino."

  • "The atmosphere was great. The service was terrific. The menu was varied and interesting. But, ultimately, we just didn't like the food. In an apparent effort to be interesting and novel, our food was prepared in clever, but not very tasty ways. We had varied offerings at our table-chicken, lobster, portabella mushroom and a burger. All were pungently over-seasoned. The words "different" and "odd" were heard- the word "delicious" was not. I had the feeling the chef was just trying too hard. Nobody at our table finished his meal. The appetizers were bare tasted. Always on the lookout for someplace new and interesting in this area, we left disappointed...and a little sad."

  • "This is our favorite place for outstanding food and drink. We sat in the bar area and they had the sliding doors open. It was like being at a huge patio party. The Cardinals were on the big screen and a nice breeze was flowing. My wife had Mahi-Mahi and I had the pork chop. Both were delicious, leaving us very satisfied.. Also, our server, "Brandon" was outstanding. His knowledge of the wine and drink listing along with the menu made our dining experience "Exceptional"."

  • "I normally don't care to eat in restaurants anymore because the quality of the food is not good. I love the fact that the meats are antibiotic and hormone free and everything is fresh and with plenty of options for vegan or gluten free. The restaurant is large with plenty of seating and contemporary decor but at the same time has a relaxing atmosphere. My friend and I chose to have breakfast which is served until 3 pm. I chose the gluten free pancakes with berries. She chose pancakes and sausage. Everything was delicious. We are looking forward to coming back soon for lunch. Prasino's is a refreshing change from most of the restaurants in the St. Louis area!"

  • "Had an early lunch and it was great. Waiter offered a sample of lunch side salad on special that day. Had Turkey burger and mini beet salad. Portions were large for lunch. Waiter was very nice and helpful but could not answer basic questions without going back to kitchen 2-3 times. Wine I asked for on menu was not available and they did not have a substitute. I would definitely recommend it and will go back."

  • "We had an exceptional bartender. She was was patient and kind. She allowed for us to ask questions about the whiskey and tequilas available. She had very good knowledge of these liquors. She knew how they are made and history of each. She also allowed us to taste mezcal which was an interesting experience. She made the night. We had wished we stayed at the bar instead of going to the dining area. The bar was quieter and more relaxed the dining area was super loud and busy. The dining area is like a loud fancy cafeteria. The service and food was good but too loud. Our bartender had long purple hair can't remember her name."

  • "Love the Urban cocktail. The Grass Fed Beef Rib-Eye was excellent. Though, a little less salt world have been nice. No need for the Blue and Goat cheese topper. The Short Ribs were a bit bland for my taste but very good. Their ice cream and sorbet's are excellent. Hard floors make it hard to talk in restaurant area. Had a bad experience crossing the street from parking lot to get there. Seems like people leaving the Ameristar Casino cut through to get to 70 East bound on ramp. Cross walk not well painted."

  • "I've always had a good experience at this restaurant. But this time my waitress was not good. A friend had been there the day before and had plantain chips. This was not a side on the menu (it needs to be updated). Yet, the waitress did not offer the 'new' sides when I asked. When I inquired about the plantains she said I could have them. My friend asked about a soup and waitress said 'oh, that is the special of the day'. We had to ask HER what the specials were, yet, she didn't tell us the whole list!!! Several people after me ordered yet another thing she had not mentioned. Could be that gratuity is automatically included in the bill (20%). Would have never given her 20%. Not a good waitress at all. And she forgot to bring the doggy bag."
