We are adults here. We like to drink wine, sometimes lots of it. We also enjoy delicious food. Most importantly, we like to share these passions with our friends.

Our menu is small, but stacked with delicious food. Try a few of our smaller items or feast on a selection of pizzas and larger plates. It’s up to you. Continued

  • "The food is very good. We tasted two of their salads; both were great! The pizza dough is excellent; classic chewy Italian style. The pizza with arugula and prosciutto has an excellent combo of flavours, approved by all four in our group. The room is a bit small and crowded. We were seated near the center of the room, and were often bumped by the servers going by. Tables are small for their large serving dishes. I recommend requesting a table near the window or the wall, if you can. We were not offered any dessert, not sure if it's not available or if they were just eager to free up a table... Overall, good food and a pleasant casual ambiance."

  • "I've been to Posto a few times now and have never been disappointed. The pizza is excellent especially the potato pizza and the one with wild mushrooms. We've sat at the chef's bar and always had great conversations with the Chef and the sous chefs. Watching the care and detail that they put into every dish really makes the food taste even better!"

  • "We sat at the pizza bar and watched the three chefs frantically attend to making approximatley 30-40 pizzas over the lunch hour. We were able to observe how each was made and talk to them about the specific toppings, cooking time and favorites. Great experience and now we know what else to order next time we come for lunch. Also, about time someone figured out that downtown needs more pizza places."

  • "Cool, casual vibe, especially at the bar. Lighting dramatic & intimate. Wonderful flavours waft out from the open kitchen. Servers are gracious, understated & intuitive. Lunch simply brilliant - started with BonAnno, lovely, spicy Napa Valley cabernet sauvignon, & then one of the three original salads, romaine, caper berry, heart of palm, pancetta, egg, endive & anchovy, & special pasta, Gnocchi with Truffle Oil. Beautiful presentation of both, salad crisp & flavourful & gnocchi, a light, tender, savoury perfection. Zeppole, heavenly tiny donut holes lightly sugar dusted & served with dark chocolate sauce & rich double expressos finished off a simply grand dining experience. Can't recommend this eclectic little pizzeria & bar highly enough"

  • "We were greeted and seated in less than a minute. The menu was simple and to the point. We ordered the mushroom pizza, bread basket and scallops and everything was perfectly cooked and well seasoned. The pizza was nice and airy and didn't taste heavy at all. There was a nice variety of different breads in the basket. Service was really great our waiter suggested putting an egg on our pizza and we were not disappointed. Would definitely recommend this place. Only negative was the price of the drinks they were a bit on the high side compared to other places."

  • "Went to there on the last day of Big Taste. Ordered the beef rib and some squash pizza. The pizza was actually pretty good, it had squash, truffle oil, eggs, cheese and kale(?). The only downside was that our server (some tall caucasiain that started with an A, Alyssa?) did not provide us any good service. I felt like it was because we did not purchase any wine (I try to cut back on drinking now lol), but we did get some coffee. The other server/hostess provided us better service even thou the other lady was supposed to. Overall, the food was good, but the service from the lady was probalby one of the worst I have experienced."

  • "Once again, very impressed with this gem!! Like Cibo, the crust on the pizza is TO DIE FOR. Unmatched! We ordered the meaty pizza, the sausage, and the prosciutto arugula. The Prosciutto arugula continues to be my favorite.... Simple and tasty! For appies, we always order the beef cheek, it's $$, but melt in your mouth. Also had the eggplant fritters, quite good, but $$$$$ for SMALL portions. Tirumasu is VERY good for dessert. Went on a Sunday and it was great service and quieter than the other weekend days. If you're picking between Cibo or Posto, they're both phenomenal! Posto for a quiter night, Cibo for a fun night with a bigger group!"

  • "My family and I recently at at Posto, and it was awesome! I was a little "pizza-ed out" with all of the new pizza places in Calgary, but this place is awesome. Unique menu - lots of choice, but not so much that you can't make a decision. Our server was great - friendly, attentive, polite. And the pizza - delicious!! I like how they serve them on wooden cutting boards. Great experience, we will be back."

  • "Food was nothing special; we ordered the featured appetizer, deep fried eggplant. It looked like something a four year old tried to make. Each ball was inconsistent in size and the presentation was less to be desired. The pizza was fine but nothing remarkable for what else we have in the city. Not worth the price."

  • "There should not be a table right behind the computer check-in. It is quite annoying when we are trying to have dinner and the hostess and other restaurant personnel are accessing the computer. The people accessing the computer were trying to be discreet but it is almost impossible with the proximity of the chair and the computer."

  • "Took my boyfriend for his birthday. We walked over from his place and ended up being 10 minutes early for our reservation. They got us in immediately which was a nice surprise. The service was prompt and friendly. The food was really great. I ordered the chicken pizza with almond pesto and it was AMAZING. The pizza my boyfriend ordered (something with prosciutto I think) was good but we both agreed that my choice was our favourite. The best part was the bill. We both had two beers and we ordered two pizzas yet the bill was very reasonable."

  • "Great pizza crust. Gorgonzola pizza is a little bland. Service - they were so bored to have to deal with us that they almost put me to sleep. I'm so sorry to interrupt you terribly boring existence. Spanish wine was like apple juice - no wonder the uninformed and dull server thought it was 'fantastic'. Take away - not so much for a lunch experience."

  • "I have been to Posto before and enjoyed the pizza, but this last time we ordered a cheese plate to start and I ordered the scallops. These were not great options. The cheese board can not even compare to Farm or Mercato or Charcut, etc. The selection of cheeses and pairings was disappointing. The scallop dish with ham hock was very small. I would recommend sticking to the pizza and salad menu."

  • "This was my third time at Posto, the food has been great every time, however last night the service was quite disappointing. We had two friends visiting from Ontario so I made reservations here since I knew they would enjoy this place. After we arrived our server took our drink orders, once the water and wine were brought to the table we waited about 20 minutes for her to come back to take our order. This restaurant is small, we were located by the bar and I could see her walking by our table every time she checked on other guest and take their orders. Finally we were too frustrated to wait any longer and asked the other server to take our order. Even after we had ordered appetizers and pizzas our server still didn't come by our table."

  • "Great little place, reservations a must as it's busy all the time. Love the open kitchen with the guy making pizza dough, doesn't get fresher than that. Salads were a good size, same with pizzas & very tasty! Wine list a tad pricey for a more casual dining place. Service was great!!"

  • "We did not receive even a glass of water until after our appetizers came out. Our cocktails came moments before our main meal. We were sold the idea of an egg on our pizza, but it arrived without the egg (we understood and asked for the egg) The waitress apologized and said the kitchen would fire a new pizza. Twenty minutes later a pizza comes to our table -- it was the same pizza with an egg. The pizza was perfectly cooked the first time, but after being fired a second time to cook the egg, it was burnt. When we inquired, we were told it was "leoparding" and told we did not understand the process. The experience would have been excellent apart from the poor service and if the original order was fulfilled as requested."

The antipasti platter had a great selection of meat and cheeses with nuts and spreads to complement them. Prices were reasonable for the food, however, the cocktails and some of the wines were a little pricey."

  • "We were there as part of our annual work team building conference. One member of our party specifically asked for a recommendation of a non-dairy, non-gluten meal option. The server complied. Food was ordered. Server said the food would come out as it was ready and be shared by the table. My colleague waited patiently for his, not able to eat much of the other food. Finally, we inquired as to where his meal was, since nothing more was arriving at the table. Ooops! Our server forgot to order it. "Did he still want it?" she asked. Did he still want it? Of course he still wanted it -- he had hardly eaten anything! But to start cooking now, when everyone else was ready for coffee and dessert didn't seem fair to the rest of our party."
