  • "Very disappointed, This restaurant had posted a Thanksgiving Special. There was only one choice for a Thanksgiving dish. We ordered that and we ordered steak medium rare. The waitress recommended that we have it well done as "it comes out better that way" The truth is that they had pre-cooked the steaks beyond retrieval. So we could not have the steaks medium rare and we should have been told the truth. We also had hamburgerrs which were very inferior, possibly also pre-cooked. At these prices I would expect to have a steak broiled from fresh to my liking, and burgers as well grilled from fresh! Blecch!"

  • "Sheraton did a multi-million dollar renovation in the past year or so, which included the new Postern Grille. Sorry, but they missed the boat on this one. Previously ate at the restaurant prior to the renovation, so decided to try for Thanksgiving dinner. When we arrived, there was no hostess available to check us in. After waiting around in the reception for several minutes we finally had to go to the bartender to get assistance. The Postern Grille is cramped, furniture is oversized/ too much for the space. Chairs bumping into each other, flat screen TVs in odd locations. Initially the waitress was not very friendly, but did warm up as time went on. Food was nothing spectacular. Think we will skip the Postern Grille next time."

  • "Postern is working on providing quality food &service. There's a lively bar making good standard drinks & the dining room is cozy. The service is attentive, friendly, anxious to please. The menu goes beyond the usual hotel/metrowest fare. We started with calamari, crisply fried with a dipping sauce combined sweet and spicy. An appetizer of seared tuna with an avocado chili sauce over seaweed was very fresh and flavorful. Ceasar salad was a generous plate of greens is a flavorful dressing, tho' the croutons were a bit dry. Our friends had the porterhouse felt meat was good but not the sauce. The hamburger was very good. Fish tacos were crisp pieces of fish, good sauce. We appreciate the ambition and look forward to seeing it succeed"
