The dinner was great. Went there for Omaha Restaurant Week and had the butternut squash bisque. Fantastic flavor and consistency. Had the pork shoulder entree and it was equally, if not more fantastic than the soup. It was slow roasted so the meat just melted in my mount. The outside had a light crust of a sweetish seasoning. The chocolate torte that I shared with my wife was a perfect finish. Her butternut squash risotto was the only vegetarian option, but it was wonderful. I'd definitely recommend this place to friends.

Food and wine were delicious. Recipes are complex with delicious flavors. Prices are a little higher than a typical neighborhood restaurant, so we will save P and F for more special occasions than just running out to grab a bite. Portions were large and I had enough for dinner again the next night. I had lamb, which was delicious. My husband had the New York strip steak frite. His fries were yummy. A nice night. I gave the three stars because I would turn more lights down. Also it is wood tables, wood chairs and wood floor, not a romantic type setting. So I don't think they're really going for ambience. More of a fun neighborhood higher and restaurant type setting.

Our table ordered a variety of entrees and sides and overall about half of items were good. Salmon salad and flat bread (shrimp and mushroom items) were a hit but short rib sandwich was inedible, garlic potato side the same. Prices are on the high side so very disappointing. Beer selection is very limited if you like domestic beers like blue moon which was also disappointing.

The food was good but the pricey lamb burger my son ordered was the size of a slider! Very disappointed. Luckily my grandson's chicken tenders was larger than my sons adult burger meal so he shared. Good service and the small separate room that was open to the rest of the patrons was very nice for a family celebration.

We were in town visiting family and decided to try out Pig & Finch. It had gotten a lot of good reviews and word-of-mouth attention, so we figured we would try it. Overall, it was a good experience, and I would recommend it to others. The food was inventive and well prepared. The server was attentive, despite it being Friday night. The beer list, though fairly short, had quality labels on it. My biggest complaint was the noise level. We had a table of six and could not hear one another. This is a common problem with restaurants trying to go for a modern look and feel--hard surfaces everywhere that bounce sound, rather than absorb it. Maybe try going in the off-hours when it's not as crowded.

Three of us dined here for my birthday lunch and I would have to say that the food was excellent! I had trouble figuring out what I wanted because everything sounded so great on the menu! The salmon in parchment paper was excellent and very tender. I would have preferred better service though. The waiter was not consistent with table visits and he seemed annoyed with us if we asked for something.

We've hit the Omaha circuit a lot lately and this was the best dining of all. Sullivan's, Flat Iron, Brix & V. Mertz, to name a few, did not present as delicious as P&F did. Their grilled oysters and charcuterie were fantastic, and we have been sampling the charcuterie everywhere. I wouldn't even get it again at V. Mertz and it is probably twice the price! They're also serving a fabulous Sangiovese from the Bocelli vinyard.

We have been to Pig and Finch several times and have never been disappointed. We have always eaten outside so I don't know what the noise level is like inside the restaurant. Outside, it has been easy to talk to the person across the table from us and hear them. Our food and drinks have been consistently tasty with an attractive presentation. Our guests we have invited have enjoyed it also.

This was our first time dining at Pig & Finch. It was for my birthday dinner so we were hoping for a special meal. We got it. Started with cocktails. A Manhattan and a You Say Tomato. Both were fantastic. Next was the Bone Marrow. I hadn't tried that previously. Amazing. I had the Duck Cassoulet my wife had the espresso rubbed pork shoulder. Both were great. Since I didn't want to choose we had the potato gnocchi. My wife loved it. I was indifferent but it didn't suck. Overall it was fantastic. Really enjoyed the whole experience and we will be back.

I wanted to try this new restaurant. I checked the menu first to see if they had vegetarian options, and they did. There were a few options for me to choose from. I ordered a Kale Cesar salad (without anchovies). It was great, however the bread that came with it was soaking in oil. The service was great, the waitress made sure we got exactly what we wanted.

Pros: great food, great food, great food. Cons: Drink price (save your $ on beer and spend it on the food, which is somewhat pricey, but it is generous in portion size and delicious), quite noisy My wife and I had our first trip to try this new restaurant. We loved the food. We ordered the pretzel bites as an appetizer. The bites were delicious with the cheese sauce. For entrees I ordered the duck cassoulet and my wife ordered the farmer's market risotto. Both were delicious. We were so full that we weren't planning on desert, but saw a blueberry bread pudding with ice cream and lemon drizzle and we couldn't say no. It was also extremely good. We will be going back: I'm dying to try their charcuterie board.

It was an cool, clear nite to dine outside I at the PIG & FINCH. We decided to eat outside because it fawns to noisy inside. The food, good, atmosphere delicious. We both ordered the PUP BURGER. It came with a generous amount of fries, fresh marinated green beans and a glut of dill pickles. My one problem in most restaurants and PIG & FINCH, is the small bun cannot hold the burger and that is pretty messy. I usually wind up eating the burger open faced. All and all, I would recommend PIG & FINCH to anyone who wants fine dining and excellent service.

We waited a long time to see our waiter for the first time. A great deal of the appetizer items are very greasy and fried. The homemade potato chips in blue cheese were buried in a soup of liquid blue cheese and therefore soggy and in eatable. The salmon salad had potential, but they forgot to put the dressing on it so it was a bed of dry greens under the salmon. Unfortunately this is one of the times that the waiter never came back to see how our food was so everybody else was nearly done with their meal when I was able to tell him that I needed the dressing. It was nice sitting outside, but for the expensive price of the entrées, I would not return given it was not worth it from a food quality or service standpoint. Very disappointing.

This was a good restuarant and had good food, good service, decent wines, a nice place to sit outside. The bacon marmalade is a hit and to die for, especially paired with wine. The menu, while it had some good choices, was limited to what I call specialties. Not a lot of "regular standbys" if you were not open to new items. To me, after one or two return visits, I wouldn't need to go back. Still a good Resturant to try with good but small selection of wines.

We live across the street and we were really excited when we learned Pig & Finch would be replacing Ruby Tuesdays. We went in for the first time on Sunday. The Donut Holes were amazing but only because of the raspberry whipped cream. The donuts themselves were slightly over fried and just a little too crisp. On top of that, my crab meat omelet sat in the window way too long. The hollandaise sauce wasn't great, cheese looked like it was sliced cheese just melted over the top of a way over cooked egg. Overall, just lacked flavor. We were really disappointed. The service and ambience were amazing. The bloody mary was excellent. We might give them one more shot, maybe it was just a fluke. No one at our table was wowed by their meal.

Service was good; they kept your water filled but never refilled your wine glass like other high-end restrurants, so you had to fill your own which was ok. Not a place to brings kids or babys to which we had to put up with; there is nothing on the menu kids that I could see and had to just tolerate the whining.
