  • "Please order the B.L.A.T!!! It's life changing!!! And they have excellent ranch dressing!!"

  • "We live across the street and we were really excited when we learned Pig & Finch would be replacing Ruby Tuesdays. We went in for the first time on Sunday. The Donut Holes were amazing but only because of the raspberry whipped cream. The donuts themselves were slightly over fried and just a little too crisp. On top of that, my crab meat omelet sat in the window way too long. The hollandaise sauce wasn't great, cheese looked like it was sliced cheese just melted over the top of a way over cooked egg. Overall, just lacked flavor. We were really disappointed. The service and ambience were amazing. The bloody mary was excellent. We might give them one more shot, maybe it was just a fluke. No one at our table was wowed by their meal."

  • "Food we had was great, and we will be back to try other things on the menu. Service was good; they kept your water filled but never refilled your wine glass like other high-end restrurants, so you had to fill your own which was ok. Not a place to brings kids or babys to which we had to put up with; there is nothing on the menu kids that I could see and had to just tolerate the whining."

  • "We've been there several times and each time, tried something different. We've loved every item we've tried so far. Chef Brian has it nailed. Service is great and even though it's on the upper side of the price scale, for an evening out with fine food and atmosphere, it's worth it."

  • "The menu that we found online was intriguing, so we decided to check it out. We enjoyed it all and will recommend it to friends and family."

  • "Much better for brunch than for dinner. Definitely a brunch place."

  • "The name and previous restaurant in that location leads some to believe it is a BBQ spot - NOT! A wonderful eclectic place with amazing original food. A little explanation from the friendly and attentive server gave us great leads into plates of abundant flavorful food, esp the espresso rubbed pork shoulder. The housemade sausage and fennel flatbread was our favorite and the strawberry rhubarb crisp (last of the season) was enough for 2 or 4! We would definitely come again and again. Can't wait to try the lamb burger."

  • "Everything was delicious from the appetizer to the desert. We had the shrimp & advocado cocktail, trout and vanilla bean ice cream desert. Our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and pleasant."

  • "We love this place. Everything that we have had during several visits has simply been outstanding. We usually sit at a booth in the bar area because the atmosphere and vibe are great. Try the Trout, it is absolutely incredible. It is obvious that every single food selection is created with great thought to ensure every bite is delicious. We've only been in Omaha less than two years, but we eat out a lot and this is definitely our favorite place to eat!"

  • "Four of us had dinner on a Tuesday and we all enjoyed our meals. Our soups and salads came out very quickly, though it was a fairly lengthy wait for the entree....that was OK because we were there for a social dinner. If we were in a hurry we would go somewhere where everything seems to be prepared in advance, like Charleston's or Applebee's. I thought the Kale Caesar was fresh and delish. The Cauliflower soup had a great flavor, but it was so thick it was closer to mashed potatoes than soup. I think they should adjust that recipe. The mushroom flatbread was amazing! The fish special (snapper) was also good. The expresso rubbed pork was good, but it was quite sweet. There are many things on the menu I still want to try."

  • "There were so many unusual and tempting items on the menu, it was hard to make a choice. However, the wait staff was exceptionally patient and well-versed in every item on the menu to help us make our decision. Food was expertly prepared and presented with fresh, local ingredients. It was so refreshing to dine at a venue that evidently cares about fresh food prepared to order. Excellent place for the girls to go out and share wine and food in a classy atmosphere without heading down to the Old Market."

  • "2nd visit. Our food was good, the server was ok but service was slow. Waited for cocktails too long...almost 20 minutes and one glass of wine took even longer -because they had to open the bottle. Really? That shouldn't take more than 2 minutes! Out of the brussels sprouts for the second time. Will try one more time to see if it's better."

  • "The food was fantastic! We had great service. It was my first time there and I wasn't dissapointed. I would say that it is on the higher scale of resturaunts so it was a bit pricy but great for going out on a special occasion! Our server was awesome! He had a great knowledge of the menu and was helpful when picking things out."

  • "We appreciate the opportunity to bring our dog to the patio. We have to take him to an Omaha vet twice monthly and Pig & Finch is our restaurant of choice."
    Dined on 6/23/2014
  • "The service was great and the menu is eclectic. The term Gastropub is probably appropriate with the emphasis on Gastro. This is not comfort food and certainly not pub prices. We did not take the waiters suggestions as we wanted fish. The salmon in parchment was perfect, flaky and tender. The trout was overdone, burnt and tough on the edges. The background music, TVs were loud and with the other conversations in the room it was difficult to carry on an extended conversation. It was a Sunday, so maybe that was why. Worth a visit but wouldn't be my go-to place."

  • "I've been wanting to try Pig & Finch for a while, but was somewhat disappointed. The lamb shank I ordered was flavorful, but the meat was tough and chewy. Not what I was expecting for a $30 entre. The carrots and polenta were amazing though. As with all of the sides I have had at the 801 restraunts, they are amazing. However in the short rib mac and cheese, the rib meat was dried out too, still good though. The bits of bacon in the brussel sprouts was incredible. Good time, lots of food, just expecting perfection for the price. I really want to go back and try the pork chop!"

  • "I went here with friends and the maitre d'hotel located us at the "community table" , initially I did not like the idea to share the night eith strangers but end up being a great experience. The wine list is giidbut you can find unique wines that will please your taste even if it highly refined. Foid is excellent and preparation is rich and indulgent,"

  • "We loved our visit to Pig and Finch! Creative menu, all local and fresh. The server was very knowledgeable of the menu and attentive but not overbearing. Definitely will return. Thanks Pig and Finch for a great date night!!"

  • "Food was very mediocre. The fried chix was over cooked and very salty. Ditto the fries. Green bean salad nothing to write home about. Mashed potatoes were good. Flat bread was good. Lamb burger suspiciously tasted like beef. Flat bread, lamb burger, chix, beer (1) and wine (1) w/tip $82. Overall, a disappointment."

  • "Good, even great, food. But, keep in mind this is a pub. Very loud, and service was mediocre. I would go back, but would enjoy my food outside or at the bar where I can enjoy some conversation also."

  • "The place was a bit loud, but the food and service were amazing! We dined as a group of 6, each trying something different. We all absolutely loved our entrées! Chef Brian Rocks!! Three days later I'm still thinking about how good my dinner was (I'm generally not obsessed with food, by the way)! The service was top notch!! Their specialty drinks were innovative and delicious! We will definitely be back (probably sooner than later since I can't get the Missouri Hen out of my mind)!"

  • "Pig and Finch is awesome! Definitely a new favorite! First, we did happy hour in the bar, it was great! A beautiful bar opened up with two walls of windows and a very friendly and attentive bar staff. We chose a few signature cocktails that were very unique! As well as the four available appetizers. They were delicious! My favorite were the pretzel bites. We decided to come back for dinner; good thing we made a reservation! The service was once again wonderful and food incredible! So many unique options! HIGHLY recommended!"

  • "Fast service, delicious food, reasonable pricing. I had a Salmon salad full of surprising and fresh ingredients, my guest had a lamb burger that was huge and tasty. "

  • "This restaurant is a perfect addition to the Regency neighborhood. The food is fantastic, and the atmosphere is comfortable and cozy. They can accomodate large groups or small ones, and the bar is perfect for grabbing a drink and a bite to eat. We love the cauliflower soup; on our most recent trip, we tried the pork shoulder, the salmon in parchment, a side of the mac and cheese and the grilled oysters. Everything was incredible - the chef's attention to detail and marrying flavors together is such a welcome addition to the Omaha food scene!"

  • "Trying to find a really good place for brunch on a Sunday is so difficult in Omaha. There are plenty of greasy spoons and chains but if you're craving something thoughtful and focused on local ingredients with both light and heart options, well, there is no such thing - until Pig and Finch. I've had brunch twice there in the last month and both experiences were excellent. The ambiance is lovely and the servers were pleasant, enthusiastic and attentive. The donut holes with the raspberry cream and lemon curd are wickedly delicious, fluffy little gems. I had the crab omelet with fontina cheese and it was incredible with just the right amount of hollandaise. My husband had the blackberry souffle and raved about it. We will be back for sure! "

  • "Atmosphere was very cute. Loved the theme and ambience. Although the fake flowers on the tables really didn't go and looked super cheap. Either go fresh or eliminate it altogether. Interesting and different menu. Loved that it was fresh. Food was good. Think it was overpriced for what your receive, especially the steak. Doubt we will return. "

  • "Service was good. The food was okay. Not worth the price. Bone marrow appetizer was really disappointing. Templeton Rye is not expensive but they want $12.00 for a cocktail (not a double). Good luck once the newness wears off and see how many keep coming back for 2 star food at 4 star prices. "

  • "The acoustics inside where awful. We ended up sitting outside which was quite pleasant. Waiter was not very attentive and service was slow."

  • "I had much higher hopes for Pig & Finch. It was average at best. Not at all noteworthy. I may give it one more chance and try another dish (although we sampled an appetizer, side dish and two entrees already.) Omaha is full of much better restaurant choices for the same price point. "

  • "Food was amazing. Ordered the pretzel bites (mustard was very good and I hate mustard) short ribs mac and cheese, I got the chicken panzanella and hubs got the burger. The only two notes that I have about the food, was the panzanella had pepperdoos in there that looked like tomatos so I was shocked that it was spicy...then a closer look showed they were not tomatos. I didn't remember seeing that as part of the dish, but it could've been. The chicken was a leg on the bone and it was quite messy to eat and try to get the meat off to put on top of the salad. Very flavorful though and well cooked. Again, the food was VERY good, but the service was so bad, that it makes me not want to go back. Server was incredibly show and could not multitask. "

  • "Good food lacking in basic customer service skills. If you have a restaurant full of open seats you don't offend the customers you do have coming in by seating them back of the house.Food was good but for $33 expected more steak and mushroom salad than received. Covered up lack of costly food with overload of fries. Signature cocktails good but pricey considering the martini glass coming out 1/4 empty. Overpriced but you never know till you try. Didn't seem like my boyfriend and I, early 30s casualmmet their target market and they let it overtly be known"

  • "Pig & Finch is something so different than most restaurants! The food is very delicious, trout, swordfish, basil salmon flatbread were all fantastic! The beer menu was great! so many imported beers & unique drinks to choose from. The décor is cool, lots of wood on the ceiling & walls, very English. You don't have to dress up! casual & the price is right! LOVED this place."

  • "Our group of 6 asked in advance for seating in an out of the way area and the restaurant obliged. It made the small birthday party feel very special. Every dish ordered, from burgers to salads to small plates, received rave reviews. Service was prompt and courteous. The server was helpful for first time visitors and made sure all was well throughout the evening. "

  • "The pork belly appetizer was wonderful, great portion size, cooked perfectly. I had it on two separate occasions. The brussel sprout hash was lovely, and the bone marrow was amazing. Best meals I've eaten in Omaha to date. Service on both visits was fast and friendly."
