  • "I have eaten here several times and each time they get better. Beautiful people, outstanding service. The pork chop is beyond amazing and the size will blow you away. I am 215 lbs and I have never finished the chop. My wife has the fillet and it is the size of a rib eye. Tuna Tartar melts in your mouth. Crab cakes are large with little filler. They have a seafood Kabob that will make your mouth drool. Wine list is extensive. They make some custom cocktails that will thrill your taste pallet. You can not go wrong with anything. Check for special prix fix meals. Wow is what I say every time I leave. Fat and happy!!! I believe that it is one of the finest places to eat in San Antonio, without question."

  • "Always an excellent meal at Perry's Steakhouse & Grille. The Pork Chop is huge but oh so tasty and who doesn't like leftovers!?! Our daughter had the Chicken Oscar which she was hesitant in ordering because she wasn't sure about the sauce but she was glad she ordered it and enjoyed every bit. The Dessert Trio was quite nice but though my family enjoyed every bit of it I found the Grand Marniere chocolate truffle to be quite strong on the alcohol. Always a consistently delicious meal at Perry's."

  • "This was me and my wife's first time comming to Perry's Steakhouse. I can say we were very Impressed with the Food, service and ambiance. It was my wife's birthday and I put the reservation in 2 weeks out. We were seated very fast, Our table had Rose petals and a candlelight that just set the mood right. Our waiter was very nice and courteous and made sure we enjoyed ourselves. The food is pricey but we'll Worth the experience. We really enjoyed ourselves and would recommend this restaurant to anyone. We will definately be repeat customers and cant wait to dine there again."

  • "We were visiting the La Cantera Resort and had heard nice things about Perrys. It did not disappoint. We got their signature dish of pork chops and also tried the Mac n cheese. So glad we shared the pork chop as it was huge. We had also ordered the crab cakes as an appetizer. They were good, but nothing over the top. The mc n cheese was a little dry for our liking. It was a very busy place on a Wed. Night. Noise level is high but we did enjoy it. A little expensive but we shared so that helped. The banana foster was very good as well."

  • "We had a wonderful time celebrating our 42nd wedding anniversary at your restaurant. We ordered your famous pork chop and I have to say it was the best we have ever eaten in a restaurant. The crab cakes were to die for and the same for the dessert. We will recommend your restaurant to everyone we know. I have to say the service is the best I have ever had also. The staff was so friendly and bent over backwards for us. We can't wait to celebrate my husbands 71st birthday on September 24th because we are making reservations at your restaurant. It was a fantastic experience for us."

  • "Perry's understands Restaurant Week. I've been several times in Dallas during Restaurant Week. The pre-fixe menu featured signature dishes like their mammoth 4-bone caramelized pork chop (more like a roast!), their delicious wedge salad, and the mother load....their Dessert Trio of creme brule, chocolate truffle, and praline cheesecake. Service was impeccable.....ask for Daniel. He's honest, he's charismatic, and he's quick. They are also celebrating their 35th anniversary. Noise level was high.....you do have to lean in to hear the person across from you. Laid back sophistication; suits to khakis/polos. Perry's San Antonio got my vote and I'll be back......with clients."

Tasted the ribeye which tasted better than the filet, however neither steak came even remotely close to other local steak houses - not even the lower price point steak houses. Also had the roasted cream corn, which tasted burned vs. roasted. Had the desert trio, not impressed. The timing of service was sub-par, when there is a party of 4 or less, that should not be an issue. When the meal is served, ALL of the meal should be served... . The location is beautifully designed, but that does not disguise the ordinary food and service, which just cannot justify the price. Of all the steakhouses in San Antonio, I put this at the bottom of the list of choices, it was just okay."

  • "The experience and the quality of food plus the service was not acceptable. The reservations were set for a specific time, however the staff did not sit us until 20-25 minutes later. The server seemed to have a non-caring attitude and had a real lack of knowledge for the menu. When he did explain the menu, it was apparent that he was "Winging" it. It took a minimum of 20 minutes to obtain a drink. One of the main courses is their "Pork Chop". It took two Pork Chops before we were served. Apparently the 1 chop they brought to our table and cut in front of us, was said to be DEFECTIVE. Why would an establishment such as this purchase DEFECTIVE MEAT? For the amount of Money I spent for a dinner for 3, this was a Low Budget service and food!"

While it's difficult for me to veer from the popular pork chop, the steaks are equally tender, flavorful. Appetizers and desserts are creative and a party for the taste buds. Crab cake - yum! The peanut butter chocolate dessert is my favorite, but I recently tried the Nutty d'Angelo and my favorite dessert now has a rival. Ambience is "casual elegance" - love that the background music is noticeable and notable but not intrusive. For any occasion, Perry's provides a fine-dining experience that will have customers raving long after their visit."

Bar tables are the only tables near a window BUT bar is noisy too, bar chairs are uncomfortable and too low for the table height. Bar setting is not special or fit for fine dining. Area is lack luster. Salads, salmon, and burger were tasty. Flaming ice cream dessert was disappointing. Restaurant has 4 course $44 Prix Fix Menu special beginning at 4 PM, but declined to make it available for a late brunch time of 3 PM."

He found out that it was a business meeting and only showed up to the table when we were eating. In other words? We were not conducting business. The food, as always, was fantastic. Don't let the name scare you. For what you get and price of food, it was actually affordable and well priced. I will come back. I always do."
