We loved the location away from
traffic of Atlantic Avenue. Our group of four lucked into a perfect day to dine outside. The patio tables were clean and comfortable and even though there was a church festival across the road the restaurant was quiet. Our server was sterling. She seemed happy to be there and made us feel welcome. The brunch menu is excellent. All of us enjed something different and every dish was prepared perfectly and served hot and fresh. The Absolut Bloody Mary was just spicy enough. Definitely a place that we'll visit again."

Food was excellent. We were a
group of 12 with 4 kids and everyone loved their meals. Service is beyond friendly and warm. Menu is unique and delicious."

We had a table outside under a
canopy near a fountain - very relaxing and quiet. Asian influence throughout the menu - very nice fusion dishes and flavors. I had the signature dish - cioppino, and it was excellent. Would have preferred fewer mussels and more fish, but the flavor was terrific. Guest had a snapper special - also excellent. Modest wine list, but some suitable selections. We will be back for sure."

Patio Delray is a cute place. We
had brunch. I didn't love my dish and honestly forgot at this point what I ate (whatever it was was suggested by the waitress and it had a lot of cheese) but my guests liked theirs, mostly. Bottomless mimosa is a nice idea but the bloody mary was weak and expensive. My husband asked for removal of (they don't substitute) sundried tomatoes but the meal still came with them (oops), so for that and their lack of willingness to substitute they get a fair rating on their service. It might be a hit or miss type of place but I'd try it again. I say give it a try, but it might not be perfect."

We went for a special dinner on
Valentine's day. The prices were substantially above their normal prices with a limited menu of 5 items. The meal started poorly with ice cold red wine, apparently taken directly from a refrigerator. We ordered 2 paella dishes which were advertised to contain lobster, fish, sausage, spiced with saffron. It came as a watery, grey mush with no lobster, one dish had no fish, only 1 shrimp - it was mostly bland calamari and clams with no hint of saffron. When we advised the Miss Lilly of our dissatisfaction, she was unapologetic and dismissive, saying brusquely , I will pass your comments on to the chef. At a $175 for this mediocre this a disappointment and a ripoff."

This was our second visit to
Patio. Excellent food, service and ambiance. We will be back!"
Dined on 2/14/2014
Paella had no flavor; Duck was
good but sauce again was almost without flavor- both were about $35. Presentation was attractive- nothing special. This restaurant took over the same spot as the pineapple grille- now THAT restaurant was really good, had a great ambience, reasonably priced and was a fun spot. Wish Pineapple Grille was back. Wonderful that it was quiet and no blaring TV's at the bar area. Outside patio is lovely."

This was my second dining at Paio
of Delray. The first time went for New Years Eve with my wife and mother in law. The service may have been a little slow, but we were not in a hurry. Overall we had a delightful new years. My mother was just in town visiting from New York as it was her Birthday Weekend. Since I had a good experience previously, I booked a reservation for my mom's birthday, there were 7 of us. The service was very slow and my poor mom was not happy. We had to wait roughly an hour for the waiter to take our order, we should have walked out, but stayed. The food was decent but the overall service was poor. The joke at the table was that we would finally get dinner the next day."

Everything at this quaint spot is
a notch above anything we have tried in the area. The food, the décor, the service, everything truly reflects the owners labor of love. Can't wait to come back to try some of the other menu items."

So glad we found Patio Delray. It
is excellent - food, service, and ambiance. The roast chicken with veggies is superb - juicy and flavorful. We will be going back for sure!"
Dined on 1/31/2014
Very pleasant, especially on the
covered patio where you can actually have a conversation. Loved being able to bring our small dog too."
Dined on 12/21/2013
This was our first time at Patio
Delray. The hostess was very nice. Acknowledged and complimented the birthday girl per the note on the Open Table reservation. The menu was good, the service was mediocre. The bottomless mimosas were PERFECT! I tried to make a healthy alternative substitution, but they were not able to accommodate the request (an English muffin instead of a croissant). Prices were reasonable. One concern: there weren't very many patrons. That always makes me nervous. It is peak season, I expected the place to be packed for Brunch on Sunday, but there were only 3-5 parties in the whole restaurant."

We keep returning to Patio Delray
to enjoy unusually flavored cuisine choices; an inviting and warm ambience; attentive service; and low volume background music. It is such a pleasure to enjoy fine food and visit with friends at the same time. One can eat anywhere; go to Patio Delray to dine."
Dined on 1/25/2014
Lush closed in patio. Park in
front of the restaurant. Recommend to check the menu to make sure the selections are to your liking. We used a Groupon on a Thursday night, not overcrowded."
Dined on 1/23/2014
Food was very good. I wish I could
say the same for the hostess. She was rude and not at all helpful with the menu."
Dined on 1/5/2014
Took the girlfriend here for New
Years dinner. Food was great. I treated myself to the Surf and Turf and some Lobster Bisque. Both were delicious. The service was good despite it being a busy holiday. I didn't leave feeling as though I overpaid for our meal. I liked that we were able to have a conversation without having to yell over unnecessarily loud music (like most trendy restaurants). They had plenty of parking, so that was a plus. I would definitely go back."
Dined on 12/31/2013
We went with kids in a group of 9
and everyone loved their meals. Service was very good and the menu very interesting with delicious choices. Great new place for us. We will definitely be back."

My family and I went for dinner
whie vacationing in Palm Beach. The service was prompt but did get a little sparse towards the end. The food was very good. My wife had a Grouper dish that was very good. I had the Singapore Noodle bowl which was out of this world! Serving sizes were very generous? Oh yes, my two boys raved about the Angus beef hamburgers as well. I highly recommend Patio Delray."

Great upscale south-east Florida
dining experience--great food; excellent presentation; great service; quiet, small, subtly elegant atmosphere; very good outside garden dining area."

I'll never know what went into
that short rib on Xmas eve, but tender seems to be too genteel a word. The pumpkin bisque was velvety smooth and the creme fraiche a nice addition. Easy parking, no downtown fuss...its a good place."
Dined on 12/25/2013
This is a wonderful restaurant
with great food n service. Really good menu choices. Only problem was the room carries sound way too much.Would go back and perhaps sit outside."

We were a group of 8 & could
actually talk to each other. Food was very good with interesting, eclectic combinations. Only problem was that the service was very slow-maybe an hour to get main courses."
Dined on 12/21/2013
Everthing was perfect, service &
food. The people that we brought here were all impressed."
Dined on 12/15/2013
We were a group of 4 and were
greeted on arrival and shown to our table. Our server was still training under the observation of an experienced server though he was very capable in his own right and didnt appear to need any direction. Our water glasses were kept filled throughout the meal. We had a squash bisque that was fantastic and full of flavor. The special of the evening was a Cornish game hen with a Parmesan rosemary sauce which was delicious and makes my mouth water to remember it. We were all drinking different drinks at different speeds and no one had to wait long for a refill. We will be back!"

it just wasn't right. In the
1970's and 1980's we ate at Patio Delray, a beautiful restaurant. We had to go back. As it turned out, the only thing that remained was the name. The location was different, the ambience was different, the food was different and the service was different. It is true that you can't go back. The service was lackluster. We were attended to by a trainee. Our double cut pork chops had to be sent back for further cooking--mine once, my wife's twice. Since this was a regular menu item, and not a special, the only conclusion to be drawn was that the cook lacked the skills to prepare it correctly. Even at the discount price, the food did not warrant the price. The meal was a la carte so no included soup, or salad etc."

Beautiful! I had an authentic
tasting Asian dish. My husbands chicken tasted homemade. Only complaint is its on the pricier side. But it is fresh, local farmers, organic food. You get what you pay for:)"

My bf and I were very pleased with
our experience at Patio Delray. The food was excellent and our trainee server provided great service. We will definitely be back! !"

Off the beaten path this is top
notch creative cuisine. If it was on Atlantic Ave you wouldn't find an empty table."

We recently discovered this
restaurant and couldn't wait to introduce friends to their excellent brunch. Many good choices served and cooked to perfection. Our friends agreed! Mark Widick's amazing photographs add a wonderful touch to this very pretty place."
Dined on 10/27/2013
Don't go for the food or the
service. It was a relaxing night on the patio of the restaurant "Patio." The food was not prepared correctly, we had the Indonesian spiced shrimp and there were huge chunks of hairy ginger that looked like hairballs. We couldn't finish our meals. Also, the hostess, bartender, waitress, and owner are all the same person and can't seem to do any of those jobs correctly. Watch your step outside on the patio, there is evidence that some sort of animal leaved "presents" under the tables."

Ms. Lilly never fails to amaze me.
This time my wife and I went to Patio Delray for dinner. Always interesting specials and the menu itself is eclectic.with many delectable items. No issue with making a special entree for my wife with Ms. Lilly being very helpful in creating it. Wine list is more than adequate. I highly recommend Patio Delray and look forward to our next visit there."

Horrible went at 8 on Saturday no
one there only 2 tables had people, after we got our food figured out why. Will never be back"

Brought our dog so we sat outside.
The restaurant was very accommodating. Food was tasty and service was great too. Hadn't been there in years but we are looking forward to returning."
Dined on 10/12/2013
We ate lunch here a month ago and
returned for dinner. We liked the lunch choices and tastes better. Dinner is a bit pricey because everything is ala carte. Lunch is more inclusive and a better value."
Dined on 10/6/2013
From a very well stocked bar to
Tuna Tartare to double cut pork chops that melt in your mouth and lovely service, what more could you want for a evening out. Looking forward to our return."
Dined on 10/4/2013
Came to Patio Delray for an
anniversary dinner last night and was beyond impressed. The owner met us at the door, created impeccable cocktails at the bar and delivered food beyond our expectations. We ate inside due to an uptick in humidity but certainly see the appeal and desire of diners to sit outside on the Patio. Started off with the dates - order them! Blue crab main dish was insanely good and the Signapore noodles exceeded my hopes. Noodles came with so many pieces of chicken and shrimp that I(as a large athletic man) surprisingly couldn' finish. Good problem to have. We were too full for dessert(next time) but they gave us a tasty on the house chocolate treat as an anniversary token. Class act!"
Dined on 10/3/2013
The food is always good here. It
is very consistent. The thing we like best about it is how relaxing a meal can be here, especially sitting outside. However, the service is not good. They appeared to be understaffed when we went there. Lily tried to be everywhere at once and it simply didn't work. We had to go inside and ask for our drinks after we waited a very long time for them. The food came out reasonably promptly, but our server only came back once to check on us, which was immediately after we were served (too early to tell if the food was OK or not!). Then we didn't see him again until we flagged Lily down and asked for him. The delays seemed to be in service, not in the kitchen."
Dined on 9/28/2013
Patio Delray is a great find. The
menu is unique and prepared beautifully. Service is excellent and the atmosphere simply, lovely! No parking problems is definitely a plus along with both the indoor and outdoor venues. Can't wait to bring guests!"
Dined on 9/21/2013
For the travel zoo deal that we
purchased: 1 app & 2 entrees it was a very good deal. We started with the fried calamari which was perfectly done and then ordered the crab cake and the asian shrimp dinners. We shared our dinners and agreed the crab cake was the better dish. Not sure that we would come back and pay full price."
Dined on 9/18/2013
I love chicken and the dish served
here was the best I have ever had."
