  • "Outstanding, but a little loud inside. Not overbearing."

  • "Great food and even better service. Probably one of the best servers I've encountered. She was able to make perfect recommendations and knew the menu/wine list really well. Food was absolutely delicious and the setting is so relaxing. Enjoyed our evening very much! Thank you!"

  • "We were in Ponte Vedra Beach for three nights, and tried three highly recommended restaurants: Aqua, Palm Valley FC, and Medure. Palm Valley was the best of the three! The mussels were the best I've had, the corn meal crusted snapper was delicious, and the cranberry bread pudding by far my favorite! I highly recommend this place."

  • "Having lived in the south at one time I have a love & appreciation of southern cooking and the way fresh fish is prepared & served.( as well as many other southern specialties.!!!) Nice more upscale ambiance, excellent food & service. This resturant was just plain wonderful-and we 'd return in a heartbeat."

  • "A Marriott Sawgrass Spa member told my wife about this place. We started with fried green tomatoes (outstanding!) and fried clam bellies (a little too oily). We both ordered from the blackboard specials- my wife had flounder and I had blackened mahi and these entrees were both delicious. The collard greens tha accompanied the mahi were just amazing as was the creamy polenta. My wife thoroughly enjoyed her flounder. We did not indulge in dessert but I was a little miffed that no one in the restaurant acknowledged the fact that I had mentioned in my OpenTable reservation that we were celebrating my wife's birthday. Also, while our waiter was certainly efficient, he was FAR from friendly- it almost seemed like he wanted us out of there!"

  • "Had heard great things about the Fish Camp and it didn't disappoint! The food was great and the atmosphere was perfect! We had specials but the menus looked good, too. The fried green tomatoes were awesome. You wont be disappointed."

  • "The setting facing the Intracoastal waterway is open and casual, but the menu is eclectic with interesting choices. The feel here is like a neighborhood meeting place with the vibrancy of friendly people having a good time. Very enjoyable."

  • "We love the fried green tomatoes....shrimp and grits are the best we have had anywhere, and we have had this dish many times.."

  • "This was our second visit to this restaurant. We live 4 hours away, and, honestly, I think we may have to drive down again very soon just to eat there! Even better than we remembered! We consider ourselves seafood afficianados, and PV knows how to obtain the freshest seafood and then cook it in very skilled ways. Started with steamed oysters -- cooked to perfection! We were there for brunch, so we had their buttermilk biscuit, pepper jelly, and "country ham" -- extremely delicious! Fried green tomatoes were good, but on the heavy side. Shrimp and grits were the best we ever had. Tried fried clam bellies for the first time -- it won't be the last! Very lightly battered, flash fried, tender, outstanding! Can't wait to return!"

  • "A nice, casual place with a menu that is more interesting than I expected. Great appetizers (calamari has a pesto topping), entrees substantial and interesting (snapper special and the ribeye special were very good), salads very fresh (wedge salad was huge), desserts were excellent (bread pudding was the standout). It was a noisy restaurant, at full capacity for a Monday night. Make a reservation to be seated promptly. Cost and value were consistent. We had a great server who was knowledgeable and made great suggestions. I would go back."

  • "This was our second visit to Palm Valley Fish Camp - we enjoyed the food so much the first time we were there, I decided to use my birthday as a reason to return. My wife & I arrived promptly for our 5:00 reservation on a Saturday afternoon and ordered. The drinks & appetizers arrived and then we waited approx. 40 minutes for our entrees. The restaurant was only partially full so early in the evening but we sat and watched while the wait staff stood around the bar, playing with each others's hair and socializing. No one attempted to explain why other parties were seated, ordered and received their diners while we waited. After we had finished, our waitress dropped off the bill and walked away with no comment."

  • "We love going to fish camp for an early dinner or mod afternoon before the crowds set in. Food always top notch. This past Friday I had the best pork chop I ever had!"

  • "We moved to the Ponte Vedra are in September of 2013. Many friends had mentioned how good Palm Valley Fish Camp was but, they could not even come close to the food experience we were blessed with. The blackened, cast iron flounder was INCREDIBLE but, as crazy as this may sound, the Kale was EVEN BETTER! Everyone in our party of 5 had something different and everyone loved it! I'll be taking ever visitor we have to this awesome place which sits on the intercoastal, presenting an unbelievable view! A MUST EXPERIENCE dining spot! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!"

  • "The name, Palm Valley Fish Camp does not describe the magnitude of the food in this amazing restaurant. It is our "go to" place when we want to take friends or family for a fantastic meal. A must to try is the bread pudding! It is a great way to top off any evening."

  • "For appetizers, we ordered steamed oysters that my husband said were the best that he ever had, and fried green tomatoes that were even better than my own! My husband tried the brook trout and absolutely loved it. They were very accommodating in substituting more scallops and Mayport shrimp for the cod in my broiled seafood combo. Everything was so fresh! Our waiter was very helpful in answering our questions. The restaurant is small and there are many tables crowded in. We needed reservations even on a Wednesday night. There were a few lulls where tables were empty so the noise level dropped down, but within a few minutes all tables were full again. We will definitely go back to this restaurant again!"

  • "I was in Jacksonville visiting my mother who suggested this restaurant. The first time my wife had the blackened Mahi which was amazing! We went back the night before we went home to both have that deliciously great dish again!"

  • "Excellent seafood selections, excellent presentation, excellent and very friendly service!"

  • "Palm Valley Fish Camp is one of those restaurants that we have a tendency to take for granted because they always deliver a great meal at a reasonable price. Saturday night was no exception. My wife and I have been there several times, and continue to be amazed by the consistent excellent quality of their food. The service, as always was personal and informative. For our entrees we had two of the staples at PVFC, the Blackened Mahi and the broiled seafood platter. The Blackened Mahi, served with a tasso ham gravy over grits with Collard Greens is just outstanding. Knocks it out of the park every time. The broiled seafood platter, while basic in its makeup, was perfectly prepared. Can't wait for another opportunity to go back."

  • "great resturant but almost to small, they pack as many people and tables they can in a very small space. Almost way to noisy. Hard to carry on a conversation with people at the table"

  • "I would recommend this restaurant to anyone that enjoys fresh seafood with a southern flavor. The calamari appetizers was amazing; the potato hash that the fried calamari was on was delicious as was the cilantro pesto. Fried shrimp for dinner; among the freshest shrimp I've had out. All the sides were perfect. Homemade key lime pie for dessert was to die for, from the fresh whipped cream to the buttery graham cracker crust. Grab a cherry limeade if you're driving and a sangria if you have a DD. Can't wait to go back!"

  • "Great food, good wine selection and attentive service make this one of our favorite local spots to visit! We have been coming since they opened and it never disappoints. The only negative is that we don't think far enough ahead to make a reservation and they are full. If you don't like noise don't dine here-the small size and close tables make for a fun vibrant dining experience!"

  • "My husband and I were in Ponte Vedra and a local recommended this restaurant as one of her favorites for seafood. It lived up to her praises. We had the clam bellies which were as good or better than ones we have had when we are in New England. I had the beet salad which was delicious and my husband had the baked cod dinner. He said it was cooked to perfection and sensational. For dessert we had another round of clam bellies!"

  • "Fabulous lunch with the girls at Palm Valley Fish Camp. We enjoyed wine, great food and just laughed and relaxed while our server kept an eye on the table so all ran smoothly. Love the artichoke hearts, southern staple seafood baskets and the creative specials! Not my first visit, won't be my last!"

  • "We had reservations for 6:45, arrived around 6:25 and didn't get a table until after 7 which was annoying. The restaurant is very noisy. Service other than the wait was very good. Food also was very good."

  • "No one would regret their experience at the Camp!!!"

  • "PV Fish Camp is a small venue w/good food. On this trip the noise level was moderate, due to the small number of patrons on a cold, rainy day. Usually I would describe it as energetic. Only problem I had on this occasion was the fact that they cancelled my reservation several hours after I had checked in, which in turn lost me my Open Table points. Open Table corrected the issue, but it still concerns me. I suggest if you have an Open Table reservation, when you check in you specify you have an Open Table reservation & make sure they have you properly seated in their system. I gave them my name & just said I had a reservation when I checked it. I assumed they would see it was Open Table when they looked at their computer."

  • "Located on the water, you can watch the boats. More important is the seafood which is delicious. You can get items other than fried. They have a southern twist. Energetic place with excellent service."
