Watch the sunset, see the Lele performers warming up on the beach, enjoy a beautiful evening outside. Food was very good, nice menu with something for everyone. Some of the drinks were pretty weak. Service was on the slower side, but we were enjoying ourselves, so it was tolerable. One of the reliable ones, with very good food and no flaws is Pacific'O. Their farm to table practice is real, their fish is fresh and preparations are superb, the service is great and the ambiance is nice.5/14/2013 12:00:00 AMDinner on the beachIt's good and bad (if there can ever be a bad in Maui) eating on the beach. The cruise ship revelers at the luau next door, the smokers a bit too close by the water but offset that with the beautiful sunset and the delicious food. The food is locally sourced--in fact, the greens, vegetables, and coffee are grown on the restaurant's farm not far from here--and the fish is supplied by local fisherman--the chef brought around a mahi mahi (a big guy, maybe 30 pounds). This is not one! High quality ingredients, prepared with aloha. We visited O'O Farms on Maui and can confirm the freshness and quality. Have the Aina coffee: locally grown and roasted.
