  • "Nice restaurant, a little different than the "norm." The Poke's were delicious, it looked like a great place to come back for lunch and try one of the rice bowls which looked gernerously proportioned."

  • "I love and crave the Seared Ahi bowl with 50% brown rice and 50% greens. The wasabi, ginger flavored dressing/sauce is tasty on it. I also love the Korean Sticky Ribs bowl!"

  • "Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, good food and interesting cocktails. Poke was great. California roll salad was very good and satisfying."

  • "I had the swordfish. It was fresh, tender, very tasty. It was served with a delicious butter sauce and mashed potatoes with crispy onion rings on top. You know when the fish is fresh because there should be no fishy flavor and this swordfish was fresh. I would go back to eat here again."

  • "First, they didn't have our OpenTable reservation on a very busy Friday night, and the girl at the reservation desk really didn't want to talk about it - just, it's not here and moved on the next guest. I retrieved my confirmation and gave it to her. She glanced quickly, gave it back to me, and rudely said "your name isn't even on it". The manager then walked up, she explained the situation, and he sat us, but on the way to the table said "maybe you made it for our Mountain View restaurant". I told him that wasn't possible, then sat down and circled the date/time, address, my name, and handed it back to him. He wasn't interested in apologizing, offering an explanation, nothing. On top of this, the food was horrible. We will not be returning."

  • "The restaurant was a little quiet for Sunday mid morning. The wait staff was very attentive. Good food, plenty of choices."

  • "Pac Catch is great for lunch. They have many choices and often have great specials. My favorite item on the menu is the Vietnamese steak sandwich. Their appetizers are all delicious. This is a solid choice when choosing a lunch destination."

  • "Really good service every time I've been there. The food is always fresh and very tasty. Will be returning once again in a couple of weeks. Love those sweet potato fries."

  • "Food was great, service was good. Nice selection. Music was too loud and the place was noisy. Hard to visit above the din. Have been there several times and would go back. They did turn the music down as we requested."

  • "I had a good experience here- food was good, service was alright. It was a bit too warm in the restaurant to the point where not only the servers were sweating but the patrons, too. I would try this place out again, though. It is a very lively restaurant located in the Pruneyard so if you want to make it to your reservation on time, give yourself extra time because the parking lot is a cluster."

  • "It was very loud, food is ok, not spectacular. Went for gluten free option which was a nice option to have."

  • "Go here with my beautiful girl every now and then, and they never seem to disappoint...I absolutely love this place. Clean tasty flavorful food always accompanied by a glass or two of some wine. Enter excited, leave content and relaxed."

  • "This was a great choice for a Fathers Day lunch. The Bloody Mary was great. The Sunrise roll was quite tasty and the fish and sweet potato chips were amazing!"

  • "Had a group of 6 for dinner at this place. The food was really good, but the seating was a bit too crowded. On either side of our table there were two tables of 4, all of the backs of our chairs were touching and made it a bit uncomfortable. The restaurant may want to consider removing 1 of the tables. Noise level was a bit high because tables were so close. Hard to have a conversation at your own table."

  • "We had calamari as an appetizer. We each ordered the fish taco (mix/match) sweet fries and the grilled corn. All were delicious. Next time we will order the taco (mix/match) 3 piece and split as we had too much food."

  • "Loved the food, service was excellent without being obtrusive. The Wakame rice bowl is the best. "

  • "Daily specials are consistently good - half price on wine bottles on Tuesday's is a good deal."

  • "This was our first time at the restaurant, and it was pretty good. Reasonable value for the price and there were several dishes I wanted to try. My date's Kona spiced ribs were very good, and my Korean themed rice bowl was good too."

  • "We dine here at least twice a month, and have been know to go 4 weekends in a row. The food is fresh and the menu has great options but not so many it is overwhelming. Our favorites are the rice bowls and the tacos, both are to die for. I especially like the wasabi rice bowl with ahi and my husband likes it with the poke. My favorite tacos are the mahi mahi and the steak, my husband likes the steak and shrimp. They are all prepared a bit differently but oh so good. We have friends that live in Palo Alto so met them at the new location in Mt View on San Antonio Rd. Same great food, wasn't disappointed glad to see that they are doing well and have expanded. "

  • "Great food! Something a bit different in the seafood scene. Usually love their specials the most and desserts! But rest of menu is good too. Sometimes hard to get a table as not a large venue."
    Dined on 6/29/2013
  • "The selection of fresh fish and a variety of ways prepared (Asian, Mexican, Hawaaiian or Traditional) would suit anyone's taste! The food is presented and prepared gourmet style with excellent service!"

  • "The food is delish and fresh and the waiter recommended a shushi dish my mom absolutely love, the only down fa to our experience was that it was for my mom's birthday and I indicated in the open table reservations, but nothing special was done for her. They fail to acknowledge her birthday, but since the kids were with me and cranky, we had to eat and leave. "

  • "Poke salad was so fresh and tasty. All the favors balanced nicely with the dressing. Can't wait to get back to have it again!"

  • "Having favorably dined at this restaurant on several previous occasions, this time was a total bust. We arrived a few minutes early for a 5:30 PM reservation and were asked to wait although many tables were visibly unoccupied. Another couple arrived after us and were seated almost immediately. Once we were seated, we had to ask a busboy to bring water. As we sat, we observed servers diligently waiting on tables around us. A full 32 minutes elapsed before our assigned server acknowledged our presence even though she had waited on a neighboring table whose occupants were seated after us. We left without dining there that night. Perhaps the restaurant is under new management which needs further training in customer attentiveness."

  • "Took my mom here for an early Mother's Day dinner. We quite enjoyed ourselves. The food was delicious. I had the trio of tacos (shrimp, steak and chicken). My mom had the salmon sandwich. It was all very good. At the end of the meal the manager came over to greet us and gave us two coupons for appetizers. He was very nice. I will definitely be returning and would recommend this place to diners who enjoy seafood!"

  • "We went on Mother's Day and it was packed! A manager stopped at our table to apologize in advance because the kitchen was running behind and brought us a free appetizer, which was really cool. As it turned our, the food came out really quick anyway! What great service!!"

  • "Great swordfish & salmon specials. Topped off by a very friendly server. Yes - it was 1/2 price wine bottle Tuesday. However, the wine list needs a serious make over. Too many low quality options. Low price doesn't have to mean low quality - but it did here. "

  • "Everyone really enjoyed their plates at Pacific Catch (6 of us). Service was great as well. Will definitely be back."

  • "We have been to Pacific Catch on a few occasions and it always hits home. Service has always been very good and the food always on point!"

  • "Pacific Catch is a great choice for fresh fish. I also like their salads, and their Poke is good. Their sushi rolls are mostly hawaiian style, so if you want more like sashimi get the poke. This has rapidly become one of my family's favorite places to go. One star off for ambiance, the outdoor seating (surrounded by canvas/plastic thick tent type material with heat lamps) is not up to par with the rest of the tasteful decor in the rest of the location. "

  • "We booked a lunch here for an elder relative. We specified a quiet table and they respectfully accommodated. We were seated outside where we had lunch and great service. The food was good but priced a bit high. The service was wonderful. He took great care of us, didn't rush us and made the whole birthday experience very special."

  • "We went here to celebrate my birthday. The service was excellent as was the food. This restaurant is very kid friendly and accomodating."

  • "For whatever reason we had a reservation for 6 scheduled for 5:15 and the hostess didn't have us in the computer. . .but had us down for 4:00. Not a biggie, it was a quiet Sunday and they were able to accommodate us even at 5:30 as one of our party was caught in traffic. Waiter was very nice, available but not pushy, always willing to fill our glasses (the Nojito is very refreshing, btw). The "bowls" are very good in any iteration they have. I had the Korean BBQ and the beef was tender not overlooked. They even offer brown rice!"

  • "Went here with my boyfriend for dinner- very popular on a Friday night- definitely make reservations! We ate inside, but there is a very cute outdoor area too. We shared a variety of itemsl- kona coffee ribs (a special), serrano poke, hawaiian rice bowl, taco (shrimp, i think?) and spicy fries. Everything was delicious, and I especially liked the poke (very unique, not too spicy), and the rice bowl. We shared a coffee mochi ball and the dulce de leche pasty with ice cream for dessert- they were both amazing! The dulce de leche was out of this world- that alone was worth going back for! It's also the perfect in-between place when you are looking for something a bit nicer, but not break-the-bank. We will definitely be back!"

  • "Went here with my husband for dinner on a weeknight and had the Halibut on the special. It was fresh and wild, not farmed. Delicious! We will come back again and again."

  • "Dining at Pacific Catch means eating the combination of food your palate desires. They will fix your meals however you want it! This is not common practice with other restaurants of the same caliber. And the service was SUPERB! We had the privilege of having the same server more than twice that we've gone to this restaurant. "Maria" is the notable server who made our dining more pleasurable and delightful. With excellent customer relations, pleasant ambiance and great food -- what else could you ask for?"

  • "Funny that you didn't list GREAT FOOD as an option on #2! The menu and it's creative presentation are the main reasons we love Pacific Catch. Keep up the great work!"
