The food is outstanding, as is the presentation and service. Food and service are ALWAYS good at Ombra. Jeff was our waiter who was right on with all recommendations.
The veal with Morel mushrooms and the Sea Bass were great specials.

Favorite appetizer was Tuna Carpaccio, Favorite meals were the Veal Morels and the Linguine Mediterranean. For dessert the La Bombata di Cioccolata was outstanding. Marshall, our waiter did a great job and we would ask for him again. I was a little dissappointed that the water wasnt filtered and had a strange taste. I felt that a restaurant of this caliber should at least serve filtered water. We were seated and our waitress was very attentive, friendly and knowledgeable about the wine and meal selections. Friends of our traveling to Naples, Fl. joined us for dinner at Ombra. The dinner, service and ambiance were perfect.
All four of us tried the evening specials. They were all done to perfection with accompanying sauces that really enhanced the flavors. The fresh Halibut was the evening winner followed closely by the veal scaloppini in Morel mushroom sauce.

I had the Mediterranean linguine, which was loaded with clams, mussels, shrimp, fish, and octopus, and my wife had the fish special. Both were outstanding. Our waiter was very attentive and even prepared a special blend of herbs, cheeses, and oil at our table for our bread. I had the turbot over cartelized onions with a lovely light wine sauce. It was a special and it was exceptional. So much so that I not only ate it all (something I never do) but begrudgingly gave my husband several bites because he too thought it was so special. The desserts were excellent as well. We made a reservation and were seated right away. It was relatively quiet when we arrived, but the business really picked up by the time we left. There were many groups dining together. We both enjoyed the food and found it to be reasonably priced as far as good Italian goes. The service was very attentive.
