  • "My husband and I celebrated our 13th wedding anniversary by dining at Ocean Prime on a Monday evening. Our reservation was for 6pm. We were greeted warmly and shown to our table. We were asked if the table's location was satisfactory or would we prefer to sit elsewhere. We chose to stay, and once seated was greeted by our server "Eric". He exihibited the right amount of professionalism and warmth, asking if this was our first time dining there and wishing us a 'happy anniversary', to which we were given complimentary champagne to toast...and complimentary desserts, too. The whole dining experience was superb! I have already recommended Ocean Prime. It was the right choice for our celebration, so thanks to all who made it special."

  • "We celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary at Ocean Prime. It felt like they were celebrating with us! Complimentary champagne and desert along with excellent service. Our server knew evey detail of the menu and approproaue wine choice. Our dicsussion about what to select was fun an fully informed. The food was impecibly prepared and presented. Every bite from bread to salad to entree to desert was fantastic. We ate in the semi-outdoor dining area. It was enclosed on 3 sides with shrubs on the 4th side. We're not big on eating totally outdoors so this was perfect. Just enough breeze, fresh air, and ambiance. This is our new favorite resutaurant!"

  • "This was our first visit to Ocean Prime after a friend's recommendation. We will not be coming back. Although our waiter was very nice, we could barely understand him. A side order did not come. My filet was delicious but my husband's ribeye had no flavor. Our waiter comped us the carrot cake for dessert & it was delicious. But, overall, not a good experience."

  • "We went to celebrate our 22 wedding anniversary and my husband's 55 birthday. Ocean Prime was recommended by friends and we were looking forward to dinner there. It more than lived up to all the raving from our friends. The service was exceptional and food was absolutely some of the best we have ever enjoyed! My husband especially enjoyed his filet which was cooked to perfection and we both loved the jalapeno algratin potatoes. We will highly recommend this restaurant to our friends."

  • "First-time visit to Ocean Prime and it was simply superb! Great selections on the menu. Had the blackened snapper and the Chilean sea bass, along with king crab legs for an appetizer. They were spectacular! And the sides were terrific, with black truffle mac-n-cheese and the jalapeno au gratin potatoes. The chocolate cake for dessert won't disappoint either. On top of the fantastic food, Thursday night is half price for all bottles of wine under $100! By far the best seafood in Indy! Great atmosphere and service as well."

They have an extensive wine and cocktail list and the outdoor bar has an energetic vibe. My blue cheese crusted filet was perfect and as good as I've ever had. Michelle suggested a fish entree for wife and she really enjoyed it. Will definitely dine at Ocean Prime again!"

  • "You have to experience the Berries and Bubbles Cocktail drink! Its fun and delicious! For the appetizer, I had the Sonoma Goat Cheese Ravioli. It was exquisite! For the Entrée, I had the Alaskan Halibut, Lobster, Gnocchi, Spring Peas, Lemon Jus...it was heaven!! I cannot wait to go back!!   • "This was our 2nd visit. My steak was at least edible this time, but it had the consistency of liver!! The outside was charred and tasted burnt. Can honestly say I won't go back. The staff and manager were great! The steaks are another story. For a $45 steak, I shouldn't have left hungry, nor disappointed."

  • "I was kind of surprised that they were less tasty than I expected, esp. the cheesecake...The 8 oz filet mignon I had was o.k. It's not that the food was bad, as much as it didnt seem as good as harry and izzys even. Considering it was a hip place to go, the food was didnt fit the hip. :)"

  • "Best thing we had was popcorn in the bar with truffle oil. Being a Kansas City Resident, perhaps it's tough to find a better steak but several of us had Ribeyes and those are tough to screw up with all that juicy marbeling but they did! One sent back as it was raw and another looked like a KC Strip...they say it was a Ribeye..and nothing about meals or sides were too grand? Lobster mash was okay, but pricey...and just okay. Service did their best to overcome the food issues...but being a traveling salesperson with two new large clients near Ocean Prime...I won't be back."

  • "It took the waiter over an hour to take our order. There were only 3 customers seated at 7PM on a Thursday night. There was suppose to be piano music - but no one played. It took us 2.5 hours to be served and get the check. We drank water and ordered lobster tails and snapper. My date took one bite of the snapper and put his fork down. I ate the lobster overcooked and was like chewing and old shoe. The check was over $100 - with no salads or desert. Bathrooms were nice. This was a night when they sell wine for 50% off. We wanted a bottle of Duckhorn at $110. Because it was more than $100 the waiter would not make an exception. It was the principle of it."

  • "When we arrived at the restaurant I noticed the black rug in front of the hostess stand needed vacuumed. We arrived at 5 so I assumed they oped with it dirty. After being seated I notced the wine glasses all had a milky cloudy look to them. My husband and I split a seafood Cobb salad, however we were served a chop salad. This threw of the rhythm of the dinner off with our other dining companion. When the correct salad finally arrived, it did not have the smoking goose bacon. Our entrees were very good and arrived pipping hot. In spite of that however I do not think we will return. "

  • "It was extremely noisy and our table was so close to another that the waiters kept bumping my chair every time they walked by to get to their computers to enter orders. The Brussels sprouts were so vinegary tasting that we couldn't eat them and one of our steaks was grossly over done and the other under done. Lastly, the Bernaise sauce lacked any flavor. This is the third time we have eaten there and probably the last. The consistency and flavor is just not there."
