"Nobu's food, service and ambience is hard to match. Have eaten @ his places worldwide and off course NYC as well. Our faves include Lobster Salad, King Crab Tempura, Warm Mushroom Salad, Hamachi Sashimi w Jalapeno & Ponzu...oh yes and the sushi/sashimi as fresh as anywhere and innovative/beautiful as well. When Japan settles down, most fish will come from there. Absolutely spectacular every time!"

"Nobu is fine Japanese style dining where the presentation, service and food is beyond compare. Too many waiters to our table were confusing. Each one offered their own interpretation of the menu when asked for information. Each tried to upsell us to achieve the try Nobu dining experience. Not being familiar with Japanese cuisine, made menu selection difficult. Be prepared for $$$$$ per person fair - with small portion sizes. Our party of four left hungry."

"Nobu's sushi was artful and awesome as always! Noticed that the Happy Hour Sashimi with the jalepeno was no special at all. It came with 3 pieces for $10. It was so good that I ordered it again inside the restaurant and it came with 6 pieces for $20. It was still good. Avoid sitting against the wall with the long cushion seat, which is too low and too soft for the table height. It's a sinking feeling."

"My second sushi experience- we had sashimi style that was excellent. Brandon our waiter was professional and knowledgible - we were going to bypass and only order cooked; however Brandon's suggestions were prepared perfectly and tasted wonderful- as advertised and have raised the bar on how I'll rate all in the future. If you've never had or love- Novu is higly recommended"

"Sat at the sushi bar this time and loved it. I like sitting close to my husband because it can get a bit noisy here on the weekends. Food quality is excellent. We are hard core sashimi and sushi lovers, but one of these times we are going to try a hot dish."

"we enjoyed a drink at the bar before dinner & the staff were amazing, very attentive and offering great advice on the menu. They looked after us extremely well & esnured we were always looked after.the food was amazing and there were so many options to try. Definitely worth many visits!"

"Great food and experience. One food issue though. Had 2 fish bones in the ponzu fish dish that is supposed to be boneless filet! Disappointing for such an expensive dish."
