  • "Visited Noble's for a birthday and it was a nice meal. Trout was excellent. Oyster salad is the original and still the best over other restaurants that have tried to copy it. Crab cake was good mix of crab and not too much bread crumbs. Desserts were excellent with the flour less chocolate torte paired with a peanut butter ice cream that just the right amount to share. We did have to flag down our server a few too many times. If you can afford the bill and enjoy an open seating where you can hear most of what's going on at the next table, Noble's remains one of the best restaurants in W-S."

  • "We have been visiting our daughter at Wake for the last two years and this was simply the best restaurant that we've been to in Winston-Salem. The location in a big office complex should not turn you off. The room is large but inviting. The staff were extremely nice and helpful. The salads were among the best that we've had anywhere. (And yes, we are food snobs). The chicken was excellent as was the special pasta with shrimp. The white pizza could have used a bit more cheese however, The wine list was excellent and reasonably priced. The desserts were excellent except that there were too many to choose from! We will be back!"

Service was good but waitress did not manage the wine service very well. The wine selection was very good. Staff and management were friendly and attentive."

  • "We have had two dinners and a brunch at The Green Pig. Brunch was unremarkable in all ways, but if you love brunch, give it a try. The first dinner was enjoyed by 2 out of 3 people, the server had an attitude with me (the reviewer). Last night's dinner was fabulous..three fish dinners and a meat dinner and no one was complaining! The noise level is not conducive for an intimate dinner with meaningful conversation, but all in all we had a good time."

  • "A little noisy on the Friday that we went, but terrific wine, great salad with blood oranges, very good scallops appetizer. Main courses - baked halibut with seafood risotto was good, but not great - flavors a little bland, fish a little dry; duck breast with white bean ragu was amazing. Caramel cake was also a stand-out winner for dessert. Coconut cake a little weak. Wine recommendations were delicious and spot-on."

  • "Restaurant is conveniently located off US 421 just west of downtown Winston-Salem. The restaurant is located in what most consider an office location, so you may overlook it at first. Overall interior is good, but very open. There are tables and booths (but packed in), so I wouldn't consider this a place for a private/romantic dinner as it can get noisy given the fact it is very open. We ordered the Talbot Pinot Noir, which was a nice red wine. For a starter, we had the fried calamari. It was perfectly fried and delicious. For the main course, I had the sea bass which was nicely cooked and tasty. For dessert, it was the mouth watering berry cobbler. The waitress was most attentive, so outstanding service."

  • "I absolutely love this resturant any time me and the SO want to spend quality time over a great bottle of wine we always choose Nobles. We had the Conundrum Wine by Opus and it was a decently priced alternative to the normal Opus One wines. And we LOVED IT. It was absolutely delicious. I also absolutely love the caramel cake. It is heavenly please do not ever stop making this!"

The front of the restaurant can get very noisy, especially if you are anywhere near the bar. Overall, a good pick."

  • "The service is just great here. Everyone was so nice and accommodating. The appetizers we had we superb and I highly reccomendarions the pork rinds with beer cheese. Yep. Pork rinds. I'll admit that the prices are a bit high especially for steaks that are certified Angus Beef and not Prime cuts but they were all cooled perfectly. There are any choices on the menu and almost nothing that you would make at home. Had a great time."

  • "After being seated it took 20 minutes before a waitress arrived. Profusely apologetic she reported a mistake was made "up front" about who was to cover our table. From then on the service was pretty good and they made an unsolicited offer of free desserts as an apology, a nice gesture. The food was very well prepared and tasty. The place was very crowded and noisy, so much so that it was almost impossible to have a conversation table for the two of us. The decor was reasonably attractive but surfaces were hard and did little to reduce the noise level Prices were on the high side so the value for the quality of the dining experience for a quiet, elegant special dinner was not worth it."

  • "The most overpriced overrated self serving restaurant in the triad. Brazen enough to serve "NC flounder" in February, a fresher piece of fish could have been found down the street at Arby's. The best part of the meal was the charcuterie and wine that were produced elsewhere. The pulse of the restaurant stunk of snobby 50 somethings in blazers too pleased with themselves to realize the food is mediocre. What a joke."

  • "Last Thursday evening, the place was nearly full with one of the more exuberant crowds I've seen lately. Noble's impressed me as a place to go to have fun. Not a place for a serious conversation -- at least, not that evening. Usually, I prefer quiet restaurants, but the lively noise that evening made me cheerful. The server, Kadie (as she spells it), was delightfully attentive, but unobtrusive. She spotted my nearly-empty drink from about 20 feet away, and immediately asked if I wanted a refill. The fresh drink was on the table before I finished the first one. That's a rare occurrence in Winston-Salem. The rib-eye, I could cut with a fork. My guest's lamb was pronounced superb. The fingerling potatoes were the best I've ever eaten."

  • "This place is by far the best restaurant in the area. The food is consistently fresh and flavorful- just wonderful!! The service is always attentive but nonintrusive and polite. The place is particularly beautiful with holiday decorations right now. I hate to mention anything negative and only do so to show how well it was handled- my husbands steak was overcooked and without question they swept it away apologetically and immediately brought him a cup of soup to avoid the awkwardness of everyone else eating. It quickly came back perfectly cooked and was terrific!I think they picked up our dessert as well. This place is really spectacular."

  • "Recently moved to North Carolina my dad was in town for business and I drove up to see him after 2 months. A friend of his recommended Noble's to him. As we sat down and looked at the menu everything seemed like it would be delicious and I wasn't wrong. After my dad tested our server about what a "sweetbread" was. And certain wines we finally ordered. The ribeye and hanger steak were cooked to perfection and timely. Just enough seasoning on the asparagus, spinach and Yukon puree. We finished dinner with the bread pudding and cappuccinos. Everything was absolutely delicious. The server was knowledgeable and polite. Overall if I wasn't 3 hours away I'd be back in a heartbeat. But if I am, I will be back."
