    We're out of towners. Wanted a fine dining experience that doesn't cater to tourists. Great service with valet parking. Server was attentive to our needs, but 2 of 4 steaks were overcooked. I have a couple in my family that ordered MedWell, but came to table well done. Because of timing, they didn't send back and chewed their way through dinner! Bone-in ribeye at Med Rare was cooked well, but had to add salt (which I rarely do at any restaurant). Salads were great. Shrimp cocktail was great. Sides were okay (b. sprouts, cheesy mash pot). Hashbrowns were unique. No dessert. Old fashioned was excellent. Bottled (still) water was available. Our server walked us out and held the door for us. Nice touch. We spent $500 incl. tip for 4. I would say the food was underwhelming for what we were expecting. Probably better than 99% of the restaurants here in MB, but I was hoping for more. Would not return before giving Aspen, Bistro 90, etc. a shot.

    Good was amazing! Very slow in getting seated when we had a reservation at 7:30pm. We didn't get seated until after 8pm. Waiter was great and food was good. VERY loud in there.....

    The food and service were excellent as usual on our visit on July 3 except for the blonde bartender who was consistently rude to everyone. The place was unusually crowded because of the holiday weekend so folks were waiting on tables by ordering at the bar. Had we not been to the restaurant on many prior occasions and had we not been celebrating a birthday we would have walked out after that poor welcome.

    Absolutely the best steak. The is a steak joint. First class all the way. (the lobster looked amazing too) Many folks were dress for a nice dinner but not absolutely required. The service aligns with the top-shelf steak restaurant. Great wine selection. And the temperature in the restaurant was perfect. No Shaw or cover-up needed for the ladies. Be mindful of the parking.

    The prices here are right up there with Mastro’s Steakhouse—a true fine dining restaurant —but the food doesn’t quite rise to the occasion. It was decent, nothing terrible, but definitely nothing memorable either. For South Carolina, it’s a solid spot. But if you’re coming from the food scenes in New York or Boston, it’s like comparing a high school talent show to Broadway. And while the menu screams “fine dining,” the atmosphere doesn’t exactly follow suit. The space feels more like a dark box—no windows, no views, just dim lighting and high prices that seem a little ambitious for the local pay scale. As my dad likes to say: if you have to smother something in butter, you’re probably trying to hide what’s underneath—and it’s rarely anything good

    Trayson and Lizzy were amazing! We enjoyed celebrating our 2nd wedding anniversary at NY Prime. Food was delicious and the cocktails were a 10/10! Anytime we visit Myrtle Beach this restaurant will always be on our itinerary! Thank you for a great experience!

    New York Prime always performs better than any other restaurant around. Steaks are always cooked as ordered and full of flavor. You won’t be disappointed.
