   Was middle of the road and ok if I'm honest. Deviled Eggs appitizer was best part of meal. Server was pleasant and service was speedy enough, but nothing to say it was set apart from average. My son, wife and I all said our meals had a certain flavor we could not say exactly what it was, but found it interesting we all said that same thing. Was not horrible as we all ate what we ordered, but not sure I'd return.

   The food at New South is always delicious, and Chris, chef and co-owner, is constantly tweaking the menu and adding new items. Also, Kate, the daughter of the other co-owner, Susan, has served us for many years with friendliness and efficiency. My wife and I highly recommend New South to diners who value a fine dining experience at reasonable prices.

   First time eating at New South Kitchen & Bar and it was outstanding. We had small plates Fried Green Tomatoes and the Oysters. Big Plate was Pork Chop and Trout. Sides: Fried Okra, Sweet Potatoes and Mixed Green Salad. Dessert Chocolate Brownie Sundae. Everything was outstanding and we would highly recommend it. Our server Dori was the best!!!
