  • "We ordered the fries and tuna tartar as appetizers and were delicious. My wife ordered the 8oz filet, and I had the porterhouse. We tried both steaks and felt the porterhouse was cooked better, juicier and with more "beefy" flavor. The filet was good too but not as good. It was our anniversary, so they included the dessert (molten lava cake with a single scoop of vanilla ice cream). The folks eating there can be quite loud. Great attentive service."

But not double! $45 for a piece of redfish, crabmeat and two asparagus spears is about twice the average at many nice restaurants in the area. As an alternative I would recommend Chimney's as a local white table cloth place, for a special occasion."

  • "Service was a bit slow for not very many people being served. Hands down, the filet is top of my list with my only one other place that has sadly closed down. A little pricey, but worth it. Wine list is pretty much all American varieties, which fits the American Steakhouse theme, but I'm not a fan of the American wines. Overall, I very much recommend it!"

  • "My server Kathy was incredible. My meat-double cut pork chop was undercooked. They further cooked the one I was served. still not right but I accepted. The mac and cheese was dry but had good flavor. It was not replaced when my meat was returned. It was also not very tasty. Lacked flavor. My spinach salad was the absolute best have ever had. Cocktails are over priced. It is beautifuland pleassant but pricy even for the service. I had beef last time not more pork. This was with tip a $100 for one person mealbut was no where near what I paid for. The servers saved the day not the food."

Children running around unchecked by parents, too casual of attire, and tables too near each other for the prices we are paying lead to a less than stellar experience. We do like the food and the welcoming staff very much. We have decided that perhaps 8 pm is too early and will now shoot for 9 pm reservations in our next dinner visit."

  • "We went for our anniversary celebration. We were totally satisfied and will go back again happily. The ambience was perfect, just the right amount of light and background noise. We were not crowded, even though the restaurant was busy. We did not order wine, but the wine list was impressive. The crab cake was outstanding, best in the area. We will probable order it as an entree next visit. The steak was excellent, what you would expect from Morton's. My wife loved the carrot cake and the rest of the desserts looked great. The service was outstanding. Attentive but not pushy. Good recommendations and suggestions. We will be back again."

You have a table decoration, salt and pepper shaker, a bread dish accompanied by two small plates, silverware for two, two napkins, two glasses of water, and two wine glasses... Ahhhhh...No room for anything else. By the time your dinner arrives, your tiny table is maxed out and eating becomes a game of battleship...who can sink the most dishes. Everything else, service and all was very good. We will re-visit; will ask for a bigger table. Hope they understand...!!!"

  • "This was my first experience at Morton's. The food was excellent, but I personally did not like the spices used on my steak. Without my asking, the manager took my steak off the bill. He came to the table and also offered me another steak, but I declined. He and the server were very attentive and thoughtful. Though I didn't enjoy that particular steak, I would definitely go back and order another (less the spices) or perhaps another entrée."

  • "I've been to other Mortons before, which is why I went to this one. I was not impressed with this one. I think if this would have been my first Mortons, I'm not sure I would have gone back. Service was a little slow on the start. My favorite menu item was not on this menu. I had to stir my soup to get it evenly warm, not sure if it sat for a bit and got cold towards the top. The rest of the food was good. I'm holding this to a standard of my last visit to a Mortons, which was fantastic, so it might not be fair to compare, but I should be able to, there should be a standard accross the board for a restaurant like this. Especially when you're shelling out quite a bit of change for the meal, you want the great service that comes with it"

  • "Had an early valentine dinner with my wife. First time at Morton's, really enjoyed the experience. Our server was very knowledgeable and made several very good suggestions as to the menu. I had the Cajun Ribeye, excellent, grilled perfectly and very tasty. My wife had the snapper with crab and shrimp, very good. I had escargot that had small pastries that were very light and flakey. Escargot were kinda small but were really great in the garlic sauce. My wife had the oysters Rockefeller that were outstanding. When Morton's menu says for two, it is. The creamed spinach was really good and was more than enough for two people. We also had the wild mushrooms, was excellent. Great wine list, the single glass list could be expanded."

Suggestion to heat the plates up to a piping hot temperature before placing food on them. Otherwise taste was great, service was spot on."

  • "-First off... the food is just wonderful. Good flavor, right temp, good portion. Definitely worth the price, which is a bit pricey. -The service needs a bit of work. We sat there while overhearing the debate on whether we were a particular waitress' table, and even heard the hostess say that she didn't know; she just sat us. So about 10 minutes later, another waitress finally comes over. She did a really good job once she got to us, but it is hard to overcome a negative start. -The restaurant has an open kitchen and my husband watched a chef/cook eat right over the prep line. -The manager spoke to every table around us and never stopped to check on us. Even said goodbye to another couple leaving and ignored us, and we were right behind them"

  • "First time at Morton's in Biloxi and it sure did meet my expectations. We went for our anniversary and Morton's made it very special. Our waitress, Cassie, was great! My husband and I both had the lobster bisque and it was delicious. I had the 6oz filet, that while overlooked just a little was wonderful and my husband had the Cajun ribeye which he said was cooked perfectly and did not disappoint in taste. We went on a Monday night and it was not crowded at all. My only cons are the fact that you have to walk through a smokey casino to get to the restaurant and that their wine by the glass list was very short. We will be going there again."
