Needless to say I was not happy, and feel that someone should have advised me of this fact prior to my driving 25 miles."

  • "Service was terrible. It was our Anniversary and they sat us by 4 men that had been there drinking for a while. It took 45 minutes to offer us something to drink, another 30 minutes to get it. My husband ordered a salad with ranch dressing, he never got the dressing. The steak was good but the sides were not. The asparagus was so tuff we couldn't eat it. Then the server told us we would get a free dessert because it was our Anniversary, then they charged us 12.00 for it."

  • "Dont expect a typical Chicago Morton's experience. The service was slow and sparse. My onion soup was as thick as paste. My 6 oz oscar style filet was flavorless. On the plus side, the scallops were perfectly cooked. The creamed corn was memorable. My husband's filet was true prime, wonderfully cooked. The ambience was unique. The decor was well done."

  • "Way over priced server not knowledgeable about menu or offerings! $17.50 dessert was a 4.99 sundae at the most! Food good not great servers better at chain steakhouses! We eat at 4 and 5 star restaurants often I was shocked at the server and his response to our questions."

  • "My wife and I decided to celebrate our 22nd anniversary at Morton's this year. We were promptly greeted at the hostess stand and taken to a booth, which was very nice so we could talk with each other. We received personalized menus - that was a nice touch! We also received a picture and our desert was on the house - very nice as well. We had one issue - my wife's steak was WAY over cooked (she ordered a well done filet and although it was butterflied, it was burnt and tasted very bitter). Our server, Michael, immediately took care of the problem and brought it to management's attention. Since we were finished with everything else, they removed the steak from our bill. Overall, we were very happy with the overall experience."

  • "We had some Landry's points, so we decided to try it. Service was great and have no complaints about it. We got the Cajun steak on two different recommendations. Supposedly marinated for 60 hours. The steak was burnt on the outside. But medium on inside like we ordered. The steak had no flavor what so ever for being marinated for 60 hours. Also, there was a little much fat on it for a 50 dollar steak. The crab cakes were ok and the horseradish potatoes were really good. The hot fudge sundae was good and was free since it was a special occasion. Very loud atmosphere so don't expect to carry a conversation or be romantic. Not sure we will be back or recommend it."

  • "The bone-in prime rib was excellent and perfectly prepared. Sides and deserts were excellent as well. Service was lacking in the fact that our waiter also bussed the table. I find it amazing that such a high end restaurant did not have separate buss service to help the waiter."

  • "Second visit. Once again, the food was outstanding. Everyone in our group loved their meals. Too cold. Had to speak to the manager about it. Bring a jacket or a sweater. Our first visit had a better server. Our waiter on this visit needed an attitude adjustment and some personality. We were able to overlook it as the food as outstanding. I had the braised short rib over pasta, and it was incredible. One of our group had an amazing veal chop, and another had the filet. Both said it was the best they ever had. "

  • "Steaks were good, other foods not so good, shrimp were dry, and other sides like salads, appetizers, veggies were not so good. Been to other Morton's Steakhouses and were all really good. Very disappointed in the food here. Other diners must have known the food is not so good because we went for Mother's Day (busiest time for dining out) and the place was not crowded at all. For such a high price place they need to do better."

  • "We selected Morton's based on their ratings, our interest in trying this restaurant, and because they're part of the Landry network. We were promptly greeted and seated though we were a few minutes early. The server was professional and very attentive to our needs throughout the evening, and the manager stopped by several times to check on us. My wife and I had wine, an appetizer, salads, entrees and dessert - all were exceptional. Overall this restaurant represents what fine dining should be. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to others."

Yes, my wife and I moderately enjoyed both during the evening. Needless to say, you would expect a premium steak from Morton’s and they did not disappoint! The steaks were perfectly seasoned and cooked to the perfect temperature, for us. Lastly, we enjoyed one of the best dessert ever… the Chocolate Volcano desert, outstanding. I would be remise if I didn’t mention the Hostess and our Waiter, both were very accommodating and attentive to our needs. Truly and enjoyable evening. If you are considering this restaurant, don’t think any longer, go and enjoy."

  • "We ordered the fries and tuna tartar as appetizers and were delicious. My wife ordered the 8oz filet, and I had the porterhouse. We tried both steaks and felt the porterhouse was cooked better, juicier and with more "beefy" flavor. The filet was good too but not as good. It was our anniversary, so they included the dessert (molten lava cake with a single scoop of vanilla ice cream). The folks eating there can be quite loud. Great attentive service."
