Our server went out of her way to share the local history and lore surrounding the restaurant. It's supposedly haunted. We didn't see any ghosts. Hopefully, we can return and spot one then. We are so glad we did. It was a memorable inner with excellent food. The kids menu was very reasonable. Our server fantastic. This was the first visit for our children and they loved the stories and the tour.3/26/2013 12:00:00 AMHaunted HoneymoonMy husband and I were there on our honeymoon, and we had heard about it's possible haunted activity. We love a good ghost story. Although we didn't see or experience anything paranormal, we did experience amazing service and delicious food! One of the hostesses took us upstairs after dinner so we could see more of the brewery's haunted spots. The staff truly went out of their way to give us a great dining experience, and we can't wait to come back again!3/24/2013 12:00:00 AMFirst visit, but not our last!We came here to celebrate my boyfriend's 50th birthday. The staff helped me plan our dinner in advance, including accepting delivery of a cake from a local bakery AND allowed his sister to order a round of drinks and apps for us from Maryland! Everyone was very welcoming and our waitress timed everything perfectly, allowing us time to relax and enjoy our food and drinks. The history of the building is a plus, but that also draws in several ghost tours in the evening so if you don't like being "on display" then ask to be seated away from the bar area. The beers are delicious and the food was exceptional. The food was delicious and we received way more than we would have guessed! I had the house burger and it was cooked perfectly! My girlfriend had the crab cakes and those were cooked to her liking also! We tried the beer sampler, too. The atmosphere was relaxing yet energetic.
