A word from Mint Indian Bistro
We are a full-service Indian restaurant with a contemporary twist, in our food, our décor and our approach. We take pride in our services and place great importance on the quality and freshness of every ingredient we use. Our food mantra is simple-fresh, flavorful and colorful food that appeals to all five senses. Our chef believes that the food we serve should transfer you, in spirit, to the region it originated from. Therefore every recipe has been pain-stakingly gathered from kitchens all across South-East Asia. Mint Indian Bistro offers a unique dining experience, as exotic and enchanting as this fusion of Hindu and Buddist Cultures. From tandoor delicacies, curries and naans, to tangy chaats and crispy dosas, we have it all!

No matter what dietary philosophy you follow, we have something for everyone. We believe you shouldn’t have to lose-out on taste just because you follow a special diet. We therefore cater to special diet groups like vegetarians and vegans.

Diner Reviews
  • "I've been coming here for years, and they always impress with taste and food quality. Consistently great food and service is why I keep coming back. On the downside, they don't honor reservations and it's a small place, so be prepared to wait if it's busy."

  • "Classic Indian meals served well with spices as requested. Amazing considering it's location. Well worth a visit."

  • "I'm not a fan of buffets. Apparently Mint *only* does buffet for lunch. I figured if anyone could pull it off, it would be Mint. They did put out a nice variety of dishes, but much more least common denominator preparations of them. This is still a nice find for a quick, quality lunch. It's is just a big comedown from what they do for dinner (see review of dinner 28 June 2014)."

  • "India's rich and evolving culinary tradition is on full display at Mint. Mint does not shy away from spices, as evidenced by their Inferno line. We got a lamb vindaloo at spice level 10 which approached the heat of my own cooking, which few restaurants will do. A house specialty curry still managed to be pretty and even subtle at a spice level of 9- not every chef can pull that off! With vegan and gluten-free dishes, there is truly something for everyone here."

  • "Coming from Chicago, which has quite a few very good Indian restaurants, it has been a major disappointment to go to one place after another to find bland or very overpriced Indian food. Mint Bistro, however, is one of perhaps two restaurants that are on par the food back in Chicago. The flavor is excellent, always consistent and for those who are vegetarian or vegan, it is safe to say that Mint "get's it". The prices are very good and most of the time, I am able to take a little food home for lunch the next day. The only downside is that like all the Indian restaurants here, the samosa's are just okay. Far, better than most, but missing...something to make them pop. Lack of curry inside? Not sure. Still, we go here just about once a week."

  • "I've been to Mint quite a few times and the food is consistently very good. The extensive menu offers a ton of options for those with dietary restrictions and the waiters are pretty good at making recommendations. So far it's my favorite indian restaurant that I've been to. Just wish it was in a nicer location."

  • "Ave. Will not go back The food was so-so. It was high price for the small amount of dishes offered. The staff was nice but seldom came by the table to refresh the drinks."

  • "The place is very non-descript in a little strip mall. Do NOT be deceived by appearances. This is the best Indian food I have had bar none. In NYC, LA and my home in San Diego I have not found Indian food of this caliber. I am not going to go into details or this would take an hour to finish. Suffice it to say GO, ENJOY, there may be a bit of a wait but it is well worth it. Reasonable prices, good sized portions and top quality ingredients, and amazing preparation make for an outstanding meal."

  • "First time at this restaurant and I can't wait to go back. The food was wonderful, the service was excellent and except for the parking its a place I'd return with company. "

  • "During lunch they offer a buffet and have about 8 different entrees ranging from vegetarian to those with meat, gluten free options and a variety of sauces and accompaniments. This is a great way to sample different dishes without having to order the entire restaurant. But, Indian food is not for those with a low tolerance for spicy (hot) food. The fresh naan is wonderful and great for dipping in these flavorful dishes because most entrees do contain a good amount of heat (probably 3-4 On a Thai 1-5 scale). Worth checking out and they open at 11AM which reservations aren't really recommended till after 12PM."

  • "Excellent food in an unexpected location. We went here because of the great reviews on Trip Advisor and it was great. Food is outstanding and very fairly priced. The atmosphere and decor are nothing great and the location is in a strip mall. But that makes it even more interesting. Again, the food was absolutely superb and service was very nice."

  • "We were in Vegas for a convention at one of the big hotels and wanted to get out of the hectic environment and try a local Indian restaurant. After reading reviews on Urban Spoon and other sites (NOT the Zagat app, which is useless) we settled on Mint Indian. Service was excellent; great international beer list; extensive menu and the food was excellent!"

  • "The real test of a superior Indian restaurant happens when you open the door and catch the first fragrance from the kitchen. Mint Bistro started with that great aroma and ended amazing with dished that delivered and surprised my seasoned palate - I can't wait for another chance to expose my friends to this great find."

  • "Each time that we go to the Mint we are thrilled with the food. This time we tried the tasting menu which was a great way for two people to have. One of the best Indian Resturants in Las Vegas."

  • "Extensive menu and asked for something not in the menu which was done for us. Very friendly restaurant , all the staff were polite and the food was amazing. Items explained to us and the food did not disappoint. Don't be put off by the decor - it is a typical, off the beaten track place with great food."

  • "Good food, good drinks, good service. Large food selection - it took us a while to decide as there are many choices and we are not familiar with the varietal curries (regions). Nothing spectacular. Just very good."

  • "Good Vegetarian and Vegan selection, real Indian Menu with awesome Beer list."

  • "As a vegan who doesn't eat soy or tofu, it's difficult to find delicious food - but not here! My favorite is the Chau Chau. And my husband, who doesn't really like Indian food, loves all of the swordfish choices. We try to go at least twice a month. A real find!"

  • "It was our first time at Mint and it did not disappoint! Menus clearly marked vegan, gluten-free and many other dietary preferences, making it very easy to choose. One downside is that they charge for every little extra thing (brown rice, chutneys, etc.) However, we loved our dinner, which was beautifully spiced and (thankfully!) not greasy. This is the best Indian food I have eaten in Las Vegas!"

  • "Never really ate Indian food until my wife turned me on to it. We have been there twice. Each time did a tasting menu. One Indian and one Nepalese. Both were great and $40 for 2. We had samosas too which were really good and they gave us a complimentary app. The first time I actually liked califlower. They have a really good beer list with a lot of strong beers to cut through the spiciness. Know that I know what I like we will be back to eat again."

  • "Mint is an outstanding Indian restaurant with a huge variety. Having both whole and half sizes allows you to have a variety of items without taking home leftovers that you never get around to eating. The food is customizable allowing you to choose both content and spice level so everyone can be accommodated."

  • "This place is great! Not only do they have a great menu of Indian food, but if you're sensitive to gluten, or are Vegan, or Vegetarian, they have full course meals for you that you are bound to love and enjoy. Plus they are GMO free! Oh, and their beer and wine menu is worldly, to say the least. Try those Belgium beers you can only find in specialty stores. InJoy!"

  • "We came to visit Las Vegas and had enough of the hotels and the strip, so we decided to look for some local flavors. Indian food is one of our favorites and this place is now our favorite and we are sad it's on the other side if the country from where we live! The menu is extensive, with many selections we had never heard of, and clear mark outs for lots of eating and ethical preferences. If you love Indian food you will be well rewarded to go here!"

  • "There are lots of great options for everyone even if you have a special diet like being vegetarian or vegan. The menu easily notes what is appropriate for your diet requirements. Everything was amazing! Definately going back again and again and again!!"

  • "The food was very good - the spices were not drowned by oil. The appetizer portions were a little small but very tasty. The entrees were of a good quantity and tasty. We are vegetarians and the vegetarian dishes that we ordered were Baingan Bhartha, Bhindi Masala and Black Lentil. All three were medium spicy and were excellent. Our server, Veeru provided us with exceptional service. He chatted with us about different dishes, guided as to what could be palatable to us and was generally quite informative and very courteous. Served with a smile. Could see that he loved his job. He is a real asset to the restaurant."
