  • "Brilliant service, great food - the miller is definitely worth a visit."

  • "We came to the miler tavern for dinner before a raptor game. The noise level was really loud but that's predicable for a resto/bar before a game. This did of course make our dining experience less enjoyable though. appetizer was okay (calamari) but our mains delicious (prime rib chilean sea bass). Didn't have time for desert however our serve brought us a couple shots of chocolate liquor which was very much appreciated. Overall, it's a lively restaurant and fun, but not the best for a romantic dinner. Food is great and reasonably priced for this area."

  • "The Miller Tavern has a good range of food items for everyone. The scallops risotto and the beef tenderloin accompanied with the calamari and sea food plater were sampled. The main dishes, scallop risotto and beef tenderloin, were excellent. The were very tasty and well presented. The calamari on the other had was a bit chewy and the sea food plater was just ok."

  • "If you are going to the ACC for any kind of event this is by far the best place to go before and after the event. Food is always great and the service is perfect."

  • "We went to Miller Tavern (Bay Street location) for the last night of our weekend in Toronto and everything was superb. The service was very attentive, knowledgable and professional. There was an extensive wine list as well as featured pairings for the DELICIOUS steak and seafood options. The prices were rather appropriate and the portions spot on, which is something you do not see much of in a larger city. Sophisticated decor and atmosphere. Beautiful bar area as well. Overall a very welcoming feel. There is no wonder why Miller Tavern has been in business since 1857. I will certainly be back next time I'm in Toronto!"

  • "was just as great as the first ! Went here before attending a concert at ACC - great food/service/wine and all within a 1 minute walk to ACC. Highly recommend for a fun dinner out !"

  • "Good food and attentive service. Close walking distance to ACC with plenty of parking close by. Looking forward to trying out their patio in the summer which looks very spacious."

  • "Was downtown already looking for brunch and found this place on open table. Decided to try it based off the unique menu, the brunch menu was not overwhelming but had a good selection. Both my hubby and I were very pleased with our choices. The service was great, they did not hover and were very friendly. I would be very happy to go back and the mimosas were fantastic! Price points were great too!"

  • "Good sized portions for the price. Steaks were excellent. Caesar salad was good except for the pancetta which was so salty it was indelible. Our waitress Julia was fantastic though. Would go back again."

  • "We visited the Miller before one of the recent Raptor games. They worked with us to make sure we were happily fed and out the door in time to catch the opening of the game. The hamburgers and lamburgers were great but up-charging every plate $6.00 for sweet potato fries seems absolutely excessive. Fortunately, they were delicious."

  • "My girlfriend and I had a fantastic time at the Miller Tavern for brunch. The food was spot on! The cocktails were outstanding! Management and staff were welcoming, accommodating and entertaining! Look forward to another visit soon! If you are going for an event at the Air Canada Centre I highly recommend dining at the Miller Tavern."

  • "Nice spot before the game. Our steaks were excellent and the service we got from the bartender was outstanding! He was very knowledgeable without being snobish. We will be back."

  • "Wrong orders, mixed up drinks, forgot sides, no hand towmels in washroom so they had a roll of TP and No Jagermeister! My filet was excellent but I got two salads and no mushrooms. Server was great at trying to keep us happy and comped us on a few things. Close to ACC for pre game"

  • "The miller perfectly located across the ACC. Great for before or after a game. Great for a date night and group events. Food is very good. Service was good. Mixture of enclosed area for dining, open area for bigger booths. Good Bar area. Can watch a game or event."

  • "We ate at the Miller (on Bay Street) when it first opened and we were not particularly impressed. Last week, we went back for dinner before the Raptor game. The service and food have improved significantly. The ambiance and energy were good too. We will be back."

  • "Went for dinner. Venue was energetic but again it was new years eve so louder noise levels were expected. Apps were great. Steak was a bit salty.great cocktail and wine selection. Would go back to hang out with friends but for casual dining or for occassions you are better off at Canyon Creek on front street - same price & more attention to food."

  • "Food and service very good. Very nice beer and wine selection. Convenient to ACC and parking. Steak maybe a bit chewy but okay. The major negative is that the food is not inexpensive, but probably competitive to other similar establishments in the area, however I found charging $3.50 for an extremely small serving of bread to be ridiculous, especially when most other restaurants do not charge for bread. Not a show stopper considering all else was very good but if I owned The Miller Tavern I would ditch this silly charge quickly. Worst part of the evening....paying $740 for 4 Leaf tickets so watch a 7-1 slaughter. I guess that makes my bread comment quite trivial. Until next time, Food4thot"

  • "My fiancee and I need to go to a show after dinner and amount of time for dining was relatively short. The staff at Miller Tavern did their best to make sure that we finished on time. The only criticism I could note is the fact that my fiancee's beef tenderloin was slightly over-salted and my braised lamb shank was a bit fatty but it was easy for me to trim that off. Otherwise the food quality was very good."

  • "We have eaten at the Miller Tavern on Yonge but this was our first time at the downtown location. We all enjoyed our meals and, other than some chaos and a bit of amblvalence at the door, the service was friendly and prompt. Two of us had burgers and fries - both great. The third had ribs and said it was excellent. We had to run to a game at the ACC so the speed of service and food was much appreciated."

  • "looking for a place to eat before/after an event at the ACC? glad to see that Miller Tavern has opened just down the street and offers the same great quality food & service as the original location. A bit on the noisy side, but worth a visit."

  • "Went to The Miller Tavern before the leaf game. It was easy to get a reservation, just across the street from the ACC and the food and service was great!"

  • "Had Christmas lunch at /miller Tavern Dec 19 - it was excellent!! Miller Tavern was our second choice after the main Financial District restaurants were fully booked - good thing - Miller Tavern is now our first choice!! The menu offers pub and higher end choices - the ravioli are excellent. The waiter was /'allergy aware/' and the kitchen accurately accommodated my food allergy requirements - indicative of a fresh ingredients / fresh cooked" kitchen. Service is attentive and not intrusive."

  • "I recently booked a lunch with one of my company's vendors at Miller Tavern. I decided on Miller because it was close to the office even though we had never been in before. The food, service and dinning experience were all very good at a reasonable price point. My superior's were very impressed with my choice for our get together, thanks for making me look so good Miller Tavern."

  • "We went for dinner before a concert, the location was perfect. I would pick to go back for apps, drinks and people watching. The 'this and that' appetizer was great. The steak was very fatty even for a NY strip ! the lobster mac n' cheese was good comfort food! We booked early and told the wait staff no hurry... but did feel like we were being rushed."

  • "Great staff. Delicious food. Reasonable corkage fee. A game night gem. Add a lobster tail to your dinner for $5. This restaurant caters to foodies. I have recommended it to many people and they all loved it!"

  • "Although there's nothing very distinctive about this establishment's decor and menu choices it is well situated and bustling with people. I would go back and I recommend it. The hostess was gorgeous."
    Dined on 12/12/2013
  • "While all 6 of us thoroughly enjoyed the quality of our food, the service was quite poor. I sat for most of my meal with an empty glass of water and was not offered an option for a second glass of wine. If you're pressed for time, go elsewhere."

  • "Went for brunch, first time at this location, highly different experience and service level that original Miller Tavern. Our waiter seemed annoyed to be serving tables? Like he really didn't want to be there, and he would zoom away from the table so fast you couldn't even ask for milk for with your coffee? He took our order, neglected to mention that there was an ingredient change for my Benny? Menu says asparagus, arrived with green beans. We asked for our Benny to be cooked more (med to well) but there was no attempt at this and the food was cold. But he did not return to the table for ages, and he avoided even walking by, so we ate the food disappointed. I think he was hanging out at the bar chatting with people other employees? friends?"

  • "The location close to Union Station, makes this place convenient for people coming together from various areas. Our server was respectful of our desire to talk and take our time with the meal, knowing exactly the right times to check on us. I had the seafood salad and my guest had the luncheon sandwich special -- both were very enjoyable and just the right amount."

  • "I had the sea bass, the portion was small, I had the feeling it was deep fried because it was very greasy and salty. Hardly worth 32.00. Will try the menu one more time. The service was good except the waiter gave us the wrong bill so we had to do the payment ceremony twice."
