You can choose from our classic Italian menu or let us know what you would like to be served at your event and we will do our best to cater to your particular needs. We also offer a very affordable take out menu to meet the need of any size group.
  • Private Party Facilities: The Milano Inn houses 6 private dining rooms with sizes ranging from 16 - 140 of your guests. It is the perfect setting for Rehearsal Dinners, Corporate Events, Family Gatherings and everything in between. Most of our rooms are free of charge when your groups dines with us. However, there is a minimum amount depending on the day of the week, and the time of year. We have private parking as well so, no need to worry about the hassles of parking meters or garages.

  • "We tried Milano Inn for the first time this week. We dined on a Monday following a holiday weekend, so we pretty much had the place to ourselves. We sat outside and the view of downtown was beautiful. We started with a Calamari appetizer, shared the house bottle of wine, split and entree and were STUFFED for $50. Our waitress was wonderful and we had a great experience. We'll be back for sure!"

  • "Went for dinner on a Wednesday. Was not very busy son it was nice and quiet. Food was excellent. Salads were fresh, bread was very good, and the entrees came out quickly and were fresh and hot. Food was full of flavor and portions were fairly large, especially for the price. Prices were reasonable, bill was much lower than expected for what we received. Service was attentive and friendly without being obtrusive. They have recently added a very nice outdoor garden dining area with views of the city. A great family owned place and a real hidden gem. I highly recommend Milano Inn for authentic, home cooked quality Italian dining. I felt like I was back at grandma's house!"

  • "I've hae hosted two big events at the Milono Inn and had several business and regular dining visits and they never seem to disapoint. Recently, I host a high school senior luncheon in the room connected to the courtyard. It was absolutely wonderful from the view, to the service, and the food made people hum out loud as they ate. I recommend this place. Its a little bit of history that few people in Indianapolis know about."

  • "I had a friend come to Indianapolis for a conference and he wanted Italian food. He was staying at the J.W. Marriott and I had not eaten at the Milano Inn for several years. I was able to make reservations within a short window, we arrived and were served immediately. The food was wonderfully prepared and the wine tasty. We were able to talk business without being rushed or hurried. It happened that the next day was his birthday. I told the hostess and he was treated to dessert when our meal was finished. An excellent experience for us both."

  • "We used to eat at Milano Inn years ago, but hadn't returned since they remodeled and changed the menu. The spaghetti and meatballs was better than ever with a great marinara sauce. The remodeled interior is modern and elegant, even the restroom was updated. We will definitely become regulars again."

Service was excellent and food even better...all later in the evening on a very busy Mother's Day you had. You could not tell anyone was as tired from the day as we are sure they felt. Excellent category for fine Italian dining!! I'm sure we will be back for many other family celebrations and tell all our friends!!"

The interior has been renovated and it is much more upscale, but the food was delicious and our server, Darrell, was friendly and efficient. We won't wait very long to return."

  • "The food is splendid every time, never disappointed. This is the place to go for great Italian dishes and a pleasant atmosphere. Service is always good and the staff is very friendly. I wanted my favorite Shells Florentine with Alfredo sauce, but didn't see it on the lunch menu this past time I went, but they made if for me anyway. In fact, they made if for the entire table of ladies I was with. !! Talk about pleasing the customer!! Job well done!!"

  • "We used this restaurant because of its convenience. We had tickets for the symphony. The musical was within easy driving distance and the Milano Inn has its own parking. As a plus the Italian cuisine is a favorite and the service was good and we had plenty of time to make the concert. "

All the Food was very good, pork osso buco was outstanding!! Love going To a place like Milano that has stood the test if time! Service was actually better than I remembered, great care and attention to 11 person group. If you have never been worth The trip!"

  • "Waiter was young with an attitude. He told us a story about upsetting a customer from calling her sweet heart and per his remark "I don't care". He called me young lady and I remarked "ah, you don't have to call me that" trying to be nice due to I could be his mommy. That's when he went into his prior story and also explained to me how he does not care what anyone thinks. This has a lot to due with age, I think. Although the manager really should give him a spanking. Otherwise, he was knowledge about the wines and gave me an excellent wine, he was good about filling water. Just needs to lose the self-entitled attitude and he would be great. Restaurant beautiful. Food good. "

  • "Food was excellent - waitress was inattentive and rude. We were seated by the bar, and approxiamtely 1 x per 20 minutes it sounded like someone was dropping dishes right by my son. I'm surprised he didn't display symptoms of being shell-shocked! The other members of the staff came over to help clear our table, provide take home boxes - perhaps they could see the lack of attention we were getting.. They were very nice. Then, as we were getting ready to leave, the bus person sat in a nearby seat, effectively monitoring our departure....leaving the impression that we were staying beyond our welcome...! Unfortunately, the automatic addition of gratuity limited our ability to provide meaningful feedback...!"

We were seated in a room with a large birthday party seated at the center tables which took up almost the whole room, and our table was in the corner next to two parents which were overseeing the noisy teenage girls."

  • "Dinner was wonderful - as always. The winter specials are really delicious - I had a chicken pesto that was wonderful. Though they didn't have our Open Table reservation, due to the weather we were quickly accommodated. They were also willing to let us leave two vehicles in the parking lot so we only took one car to the theater. The waiter was very aware of our need to leave in a timely manner. Dinner was served very quickly but we were a bit concerned because it took a long time to get coffee and dessert. We weren't late for our show (thankfully it started a bit late). Love the Milano Inn and will return."

  • "We chose this restaurant because of pricing and wanting to revisit a old place we haven't been to for some time. We were not disappointed. As a matter of fact, we went twice. The food choices were far superior then others in the downtown area and the prices were outstanding. We'll be back to sit outside. The outdoor venue looked quite amasing with a view of our fabulous downtown. Thanks Milano Inn - you hit a homerun."
