"Portions were too big! Server should have suggested that my companion and I share appetizers. My companion's salmon dish featured HEAVILY CREAMED cauliflower - way too rich. The risotto was excellent, as was the crudo, but again, portions way too big"

"My husband and I dined at Mica for the first time on Easter Sunday. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the ambiance was quaint with nice music in the background. However, the serving sizes were very small and the prices were very large. We each had an appetizer, entree, and dessert. Hubby had wine, I had tea, and we both had cappucino with dessert. The bill plus tip came to $150 and we left still hungry. We do recommend Mica; just know what to expect."

"We dined in the very quiet back room close to the back deck on Easter Sunday and enjoyed the prix-fix menu which offered three choices for each course. All the food was fabulous and beautifully presented. I had the English pea soup, Poulard, and Chocolate dessert. the portions were just right, satisfying without blowing your diet to smitherines. My husband had the scallop appertizer, lamb entree, and chocolate dessert. It was also of excellent quality and fortunately he was willing to share! We highly recommend this charming restaurant and we are big fans of the chef/owner Chip Roman."

"I went to Mica with my Usual Dining Companion & another couple. UDC & I arrived first & ordered drinks. 10 min later, the other couple arrived & ordered drinks. 10-15 min after that, the drinks came. We were then asked if we'd like to consider ordering some food. The whole service situation was very weird. Also, the cocktails we ordered were not good - and I honestly don't think I've ever said that about restaurant cocktails before! These were flavorless. The one I ordered, I forget what it was called but it was supposed to contain St. Germaine. It tasted like sweet water. The appetizers and entrees were fabulous. We had 2 desserts - the chocolate one was good, other flavorless. Our bill reflected free drinks due to "service issues"."

"I expected to be blown away after the fantastic reviews and the GQ mention for top 10 in the country - Not even close. The food and its presentation was good but just fell flat ultimately and did not seem to hit the mark in terms of so many places. It feels like Mica wants to be Vetri, but does not pull it off. Their also owned Blackfish is far better. Recently converted to a full bar however they were out of several standard liquors on a Saturday night. Generally nothing was wrong - but it just was also never quite right. The entrees we had - one pork one duck - both looked exactly the same presentation wise and nearly tasted the same - both with a overly processed texture and flavor. If your standards are low - you'll be fine here."
