  • "Excellent restaurant. Recommend for business, family or couples. Considering we had 7 at the table. all courses were served well and very timely."

  • "We went on July 4th weekend Sunday nite. Very slow at the restaurant which usually means the staff is asleep. But not so. Food and service was excellent."

  • "This is the 2nd time that the team has eaten here. From appetizers to dinner selections all the food was very good. On top of that the wine at 50% off was a real bargain. We'll be back!"

  • "I took my mother to Sunday Brunch for her birthday and it couldn't have been better. The food, the service, the atmosphere...everything was superb. We especially liked the She-Crab Soup. There were so many food choices at all the stations, and we tried most of them and all were delicious. We will definitely be returning!"

  • "One word - "Phenomenal!" Wait staff was incredible - food selection was wonderful."

  • "We had a lovely anniversary dinner here, our first visit to Mere Bulles! Everything we had was consistently yummy. The service was great, we had a nice table, and they had a great wine list where all bottles were 1/2 price. The fact that the restaurant is in an old mansion added to the charm. We will go again!"

  • "Mere Bulles is a "Power Lunch" spot...with all the companies in Maryland Farms it is almost impossible not to run into someone you know. The food is amazing - in the summer time, I stick with the salads and I am never disappointed. They are willing to make accomodations for picky eaters like myself. This past week, my colleague had the veggie burger and he was almost licking the plate it was so good. You can't go wrong eating here."

  • "I found it a great, quiet place to celebrate our anniversary. The staf was great and the food delicious."

  • "This restaurant has great ambiance, impeccable service, and absolutely incredible food. Everything from the appetizers to our main course was pure perfection. A special Thank You to our waiter Nate for the champagne suggestion and for the great service. We'll definitely come back on our next trip to Tennessee."

  • "Ok you gotta get the she crab bisque. This is a wonderful place to dine."

  • "No better value than Mere Bulles for a relaxing, family-oriented brunch buffet. The senior discount and children eat free are valuable incentives to treat the family to upscale brunches."

  • "The Sunday brunch was outstanding, especially the creme brulee french toast. My only complaint would be that the service was a little lacking. My water glass was never refilled and the refills we ordered for our kids' chocolate milk--which we later realized we were charged for--were never brought to the table."

  • "This is my wife's and my favorite restaurant for special occasions or just a superior meal. The main eating area has nice paintings and tall ceilings so the atmosphere is better than many upscale restaurants. My wife and I have tried and enjoyed the Prime Rib, Phyllo Wrapped Sea Bass, Salmon, Scallops, and Shrimp Pignoli Pasta. We highly recommend their fabulous Charleston She Crab Bisque; however, the Tomato and Brie Bruschetta and Stuffed Mushroom Caps appetizers are very good also. For dessert, the Raspberry Sorbet is a large portion sufficient for two to share, if you want something sweet but not too filling. Their home-made carrot cake is my favorite, if I'm too full I usually order it anyway and take home what I can't eat!"

  • "This is one of the places that I have always wanted to try. Lived in the area for my entire 44 years but never made until recently. Now I know what I have been missing! ! Great food and service. Nice peaceful atmosphere for a romantic dinner. Not overly expensive in my opinion for the quality and type of steak that we had. Definitely be back."

  • "This was a rare night out for my wife and I and Mere Bulles proved to be a great choice for a nice romantic dinner. The food was excellent and our server was knowledgeable, efficient, and a lot of fun. We will be back."

  • "My family and I frequent Mere Bulles for our private Oasis for quality food and friendly service. The Management team, welcoming staff, wait staff and culinary staff understand that the customer is First Priority. The location is convenient, the food is top quality, and the selection of menu is superb. If you are looking for a great Sunday Brunch, then Mere Bullles is the best party in town. The variety and freshness of the food make this place "Sunday Brunch of the Year." My kids absolutely enjoy this restaurant. Simply put we have chosen Mere Bulles over Ruth Chris and The Palms on several occasions. One tip: Be sure to make a reservation to ensure that you have a seat especially on weekends and special holidays."

  • "As always Mere Bulles was perfection. Holiday brunches may cost slightly more than normal, but are well worth it for all the extra goodies. My husband said the prime rib melted in his mouth. The cocktail shrimp were firm & fresh. Shrimp was available for omelets and there were even extra special fillings for the crepes. We dined outside for the 1st time. It was very enjoyable. We will definitely not hesitate to dine here on any holiday as it made Father's day special."

  • "Mere Bulles, a delightful restaurant, has a good wine and liquor list, delicious food always beautifully presented, knowledgeable and efficient wait staff and a welcoming ambiance. The signature She-Crab Bisque is worthy of its place among their food; the prime rib and filet are very well cooked and to be savored, the Sea Bass was fabulous. You can't miss with Mere Bulles!"

  • "Always enjoy the fantastic Sunday brunch (and appreciate the small discount for seniors) . Decor is elegant with white linens but many diners are very casual and not out of place. Atmosphere is welcoming and friendly for all ages. The crab soup alone is worth a trip! Food is fresh and many choices for us non meat eaters. Salmon is delicious with veggie sides and salads. Dessert tends to be on the kid friendly side with lots of fun choices that I notice pleases plenty of adults too. With such an array of food choices for brunch, the small dishes of creme caramel , fresh strawberries, or cobbler are good choices and delicious for the adults who still have room for dessert. Servers are attentive and friendly."

  • "We always eat a holiday brunch here...the food is excellent and the staff is pleasant. Kids under 12 eat free, too. Make a reservation early and try to get seated downstairs or your trips to the buffet turn into a workout!!!"

  • "We found a jewel and our wonderful told us the whole story. Ask about Mother Bubbles when you dine. For Sunday brunch, do not leave without having the Crème Brulee French Toast and the Carolina She Crab Bisque. One of the best in Music City USA. I will be back........"

  • "We went to Mere Boules to celebrate a friend's birthday (her choice) and indicated this on our reservation. Even though the restaurant was almost empty, the hostess (Owner?) tried to seat us at what was probably the worst table in the restaurant, right next to the coffee station. When we pushed for a better table, she reluctantly moved us to something hardly better. Her attitude was also very unfriendly. Our server was nice enough, but not attentive enough. We had to keep asking for things, including coffee refills. "

  • "We had family in town for a long weekend. We wanted to take them to a special place, so we chose Mere Bulles. When they got in the car after brunch, the six of them were unanimous - it was fabulous. Will certainly go again. Gary"

  • "The she crab bisque is as advertised - very good. But a small bowl is all you'll need for an appetizer since it's very rich. Everything else was fine - steak was good and bass was good. It just felt a little dates, but if course that's the whole point of this place. We were disappointed that the weather kept us from sitting outside, because the patio in the evening is fantastic. Glad we went. "

  • "Took out of town company here on Tuesday night. Service was terrific and the food was very good. We had a table where it was quiet and we could easily talk with each other--which is important to me when I dine out. I do not want a lot of noise. I come with people I wish to talk with. They were impressed and enjoyed the evening. We did not feel rushed to leave and lingered over drinks. Thank you for a lovely evening. Suzanne"

  • "1 word: Divine. My 6yr old chose as her birthday restaurant. She wanted a real princess restaurant & that is what she got. Everything was beautiful: table setting with real table cloth & cloth napkins to brunch buffet. Delicious does not even start to describe the food. Made to order omelets, pancakes, waffles, & crepes. Wonderful southern style food. My children loved the chocolate fountain & petite desserts. The fruit tea is noteworthy as is the crab bisque & hash brown casserole. All 3 of our children ate free with exception of drinks. So with that said we found it reasonably priced & family friendly. Our new Sunday favorite."

  • "We have been brunch regulars for about 10 months now. Anytime we are seated in Bobby or Virgil's section our experience is improved 10 fold. The hostess and bar attendant still needs customer service training, but the on line cooks and the two servers mentioned above are excellent. "

  • "Great place for a relaxed and/or romantic evening. Also good for a family dinner. Has a Southern feel and you can tell locals who live in and around the Nashville area come to eat here."

  • "Our evening was lovely. We started out with a cup of she-crab soup and it was creamy and delicious. Next I ordered the filet and it was very tender and cooked perfectly. My boyfriend ordered prime rib and it was very juicy and cooked to perfection. We also ordered a bottle of Mersolie Silver. We had a wonderful evening and highly recommend this restaurant."

  • "This is my "go to" restaurant in our neighborhood but it is worth a drive. My favorites are the she crab soup, all their salads, the salmon, and the prime rib, which I think is the best in the Nashville area. The wine list is a pretty good value as they always seem to be offering them at half price and the selection is good as well. There is a patio out back which I enjoy if the weather is nice."

  • "This converted estate home is an excellent place for a romantic evening. The food was delicious, portions were generous, and there was definitely attention paid to presentation. The ambience is wonderful here. Being originally built as a home, it has just that feel to it. Multiple smaller dining rooms instead of one larger space. Very cozy, inviting feel. The staff was very courteous and professional. I think our waitress was trying too hard to be funny, but if that's my only "complaint", that certainly says something about the quality of service. It was a wonderful romantic evening and I will definitely come back and bring more friends too. Also, their Sunday brunch is said to be fantastic. "

  • "We stayed at Sheraton in Brentwood because Nashville locations were booked. We found Mere Bulles on line and liked the menu. Our dining experience with Natasha as our waitress was excellent for service and food quality. There was a loud wedding party in the next room, but it did not detract from the experience. Other waiters did a good job of explaining the history of the establishment to their tables which was very interesting. We will be back to try other dishes."

  • "This night was my daughters' 24th birthday and I wanted to take her to a nice place. I've been to Mere Bulles many times for company dinners and had been very pleased. Reservations worked well and we were seated at a private outdoor patio table. The setting was beautiful and service was excellent and attentive. Overall, dinner was okay, but not outstanding. We both ordered the petite filet with potatoes and asparagus. My wedge salad was good. Both of our filets were undercooked and mine was served cold with dry mashed potatoes. I sent my meat back for re-cooking, but by the time it returned, my appetite was dashed. The manager, without asking, compensated us with two deserts on the house. She didn't have to do it, but it was appreciated. "
