Located in the heart of downtown Philadelphia, directly across from the historic City Hall and on the renown Avenue of the Arts, McCormick and Schmick's Seafood Restaurant features over 30 varieties of fresh seafood flown in daily from around the globe. The two level restaurant features traditional… white tablecloth dining in dark wood paneled rooms accented by handcrafted stained glass ceilings and mosaic tiled floors. The popular, lively bar features a selection of micro-brewed beers and ales, regional wines, single-malt scotches, fresh squeezed juices and hand-shaken cocktails. McCormick and Schmick's serves lunch Monday through Friday, dinner seven days a week and offers a $1.95 bar menu twice daily. Reservations are encouraged.Continued

"Having read several reviews praising the menu, but objecting to poor service, I was pleasantly surprised. Our waiter was courteous and helpful in suggesting dishes. When told that we had theater tickets, he was extremely accommodating. He brought our selections promptly, and was prepared with the check when we were ready to leave. A lovely place to dine!"

"Took my daughter for a special dinner before the theater. The staff is extremely professional and friendly. The crab cakes and salmon melted in your mouth. Dessert was delicious. Thank you for being a wonderful establishment!"

"Our Easter Sunday dinner here was spectacular! Our table for 7 was ready even upon our early arrival. Our waitress was friendly and knowledgeable and accommodating to customizing our dinner requests. The food was served with perfect timing so we felt pampered yet not rushed. Non-alcoholic drinks refreshed without needing to ask. Everyone loved their meal & sides and I personally recommend the sea scallops. Enjoy, it's a treat!I"

"Overall my experience was good. The food is always good, but with the daily menu changes my husband and I are never able to say we have a special dish. So, if you want something different every time this is the place. If you are looking for a chef's special dish to call your own then look somewhere else. But the drinks always on point, a littlle more then the average place but they provide the best liquor for your drink."
