  • "5 of us 60 something gals enjoyed lunch at Bridgeport McCormick & Schmicks and had a very enjoyable two hours. The waiter was extremely adept and accommodating. The food was very good and the desserts were fabulous! We will definitely return. "

  • "We are used to McCormick and Schmidt by the water in Seattle, but we enjoyed it just as much in Tigard. Good food and a friendly atmosphere...it was a great choice to meet friends on our way to Newport, Oregon."

  • "The food was great. Great drink and wine menu, and the happy hour menu looked great. Now I want to go back for drinks and apps or lunch with girlfriends"

  • "Went with my wife and 3 young kids. We go @ 2x a month. Our kids have some food challenges and the staff always get the orders to our specifications. Waiter "Brian" is outstanding."

  • "As usual, M&S Grill has hit a home run. Outstanding food and very attentive service."

  • "Unlike our previous visit this time it was great! The food was fantastic (fish and vegies), wine very good and excellent service. We will come back!"

  • "Everything was at its best today. I had my favorite waitperson, Lee, and she didn't disappoint. She was great! The food was tops. I had the soup, sour dough bread, tenderloin medallions and sautéed prawns, and dessert special. It was done just to my liking. The sautéed prawns weren't served just in butter like in most places, but were sautéed in a garlic sauce."

  • "The drinks were good and I was impressed that they were able to put us into a booth as I had requested. We didn't have to wait long, ten minutes, to be seated since we had a reservation. I'm happy that we had a gift card and didn't end up dropping all of our own money on this place though because the waiter was slow, the portions were too small, the food was bland and the prices were ridiculously over priced. I should have checked the reviews on the web before making the trip all the way to Tigard, it seems that several other people have felt the same way."

  • "Very good in all respects. Fish was cooked to perfection. Service was excellent. Wine list had some decent selections that didn't cost a fortune."

  • "Food is excellent and the only drawback to this place is the hard to find parking spot in the complex. Go doing lean times and not during regular dining hours!"

  • "I've been to McCormick's several times over the years. This meal was very mediocre. I had the mahi mahi from the new Spring menu with some sort of glaze that was just slathered over the top of the fish; more like plopped on the top of the fish. The "spring vegetables" were carrots, peas and some boiled white onions - - completely tasteless. You couldn't have served asparagus?? The presentation was unappealing. You guys can do much better. Thanks heavens our server, Barb, was just lovely."

  • "We came in and was greeted promptly by a very friendly hostess. Server was awesome. She made sure we were taken very good care of. Food was delicious and just enough food! Couldn't ask for a better place to have our anniversary dinner!"

  • "The Oregon themed glass dome was spectacular and the similarly themed artwork throughout was an entertaining and a thoughtful collection. The overall layout and immediate appearance upon entering were both very nice, comfortable and human, even if somewhat grandiose. Overall the ambience was very appealing and more than expected. The server was prompt, though overworked, and quite knowledgeable. Other staff were communicative and personable. The prices were fair and not unexpected. The food was well prepared, both visually appealing and very tasty. Very well done, a bravo!"

  • "I was very excited to go for dinner to celebrate my father's 91st birthday. We were disappointed in the food for the amount that it cost. Very expensive and not what I expected for food. I chose not to have a salad with my dinner due to the cost. The service was good. I would not recommend for friends, in fact, I shared with friends my disappointment. Another person agreed the expense. We have been to happy hour and were pleased but would not choose to go back for a dinner."

  • "For a place that is supposedly known for its seafood and fish, my trout was surprisingly cooked beyond recognition. It was dry as a bone and powdery. The asparagus salad lacked dressing. We won't be back."

  • "I have been to this McCormick & Schmick's location three times over the years while visiting Portland. I think this is my last visit. Service was fine but the food is just okay. Ordered from Spring menu - mahi mahi in mango and citrus - expecting something fruity and light to complement the fish but it was more like a barbeque sauce. Lobster bisque okay - not the best I've had but appreciate the sizeable lobster chunks. Cold, blah white bread?? At least warm it up."

  • "Delicious food, local ingredients, everything was cooked perfectly and plated to perfection. The chocolate espresso cake is to die for."

  • "Hostesses were friendly and wait staff was courteous. Service was not blazing fast, but it wasn't slow enough to bother me or cause me worry. Food ingredients were of good quality and the wine list was fabulous. I highly recommend the Joel Gott steel-barrelled Chardonnay for those like me who can't stand those over-oaked chardonnays that most wineries tend to do. The hostess told me that there is a happy hour done at the bar that is quite popular. Though I didn't try it, the bar was packed by 5:30 so I'm sure the scene is popular and many looked to be "regular" repeat customers, having a good time."

  • "We were looking to go out without spending a fortune. I noticed the Chef's Specials 3-course dinner and that fit the bill perfectly. The shrimp and beef medallions were delicious and just the right portion and the scampi pasta did the trick as well. The chocolate lava cake was just the right size and was oh so good."

  • "Although this restaurant was very busy the service was extremely slow. We waited over fifteen minutes just to receive water. The food was cold and undercooked. Poor servce, extremely poor food quality."

  • "We had a very nice waiter who was very prompt and attentive. We were in a hurry and he made sure we got our food quickly and I was able to pay the bill quickly so our visitor could get to the airport in time. 2 of us had the cedar plank salmon. it was a small serving and very dry. Another had tilapia. She said it was tasteless. The seafood used to be great at this restaurant, but this was pretty disappointing. I won't be bringing out of town guests there anymore."

  • "The food was exceptional! Great lobster and steak, but the waiter needs training. He first told me that the steak and lobster had been a weekend special and wasn't available. After I told him I had received an email about that that morning, be checked on it. I had to ask for bread three times. The clam chowder I asked for never arrived. The iced tea refill I asked for with dessert never arrived. He had to come back to tell me that the dessert I had chosen wasn't available. And this was all after 2:00 p.m. when there were few people in the restaurant."

  • "We have gone to M&S Grill mainly because they are a great spot for a good happy hour (very popular, though, so it can be hard to find a table!) with good food. However, we love to go for a nice lunch option, and this time we went for dinner and were very pleased with our waiter and our meals were delicious! It was pretty noisy at times because the bar was on the other side of the wall from where we sat and it seemed there was a lot of glass being broken (?) or just lots of dish clanking - not sure? Besides that, we really enjoyed our meals and had a nice romantic meal before a movie."

  • "The restaurant did not have Steak and Lobster as advertise on there website. Also, there were several items on there menu that they were sold out of, Top Sirloin? For a large restaurant as McCormick & Schmick's, they should planned ahead if it was Valentines weekend. Also, the Hostess that seated us had runs and holes in her nylons. Very tacky and unprofessional. Kid-Friendly environment, 2 tables of screaming kids next to us. Very disappointed with our Anniversary dinner experience."

  • "We dined on 2/15 at Bridgeport and were surprised to say the least five entrees were sold out from Valentines night and the beer selected for a beverage was out of stock, really out of a beer? Forty five minutes to receive bread? Where is the planning ahead for Valentines night and Presidents weekend with apology? Sadly the merger with Landrys is déjàvu of the merger Stanford's, ect. Looked like a few years ago. This was our second visit to this location recently and due to the use of a gift card. Clearly the pride of local ownership and customer focus is a memory. Too many choices in Portland to try this group of restraunts again, extremely disappointing, I am not sure new ownership understands trying to fix something that wasn't broken?"

  • "They over booked their reservations and were seated almost 50 mins later. They gave me 3 courtesy calls to be sure that i would show up for my reservations. The wait staff was so busy elsewhere that i never got a refill on my water."

  • "What to begin with: long wait in a small space, long wait for a waiter who showed up very occasionally, very; wine of a questionable origin (bitter and warm Riesling), missing items on a short menu, cold tea and a check which when finally arrived could not be paid in front so another quarter of an hour wait for a waiter....What positive things come to mind...oh yes it is close to home - nice location."

  • "The restaurant as a whole is wonderful. We had reservations for 6:45 and didn't get seated until 7:30 but it was Valentines Day so it's understandable. We did need to ask for a different table once we were called as they took us back in the banquet area which had been seat up with a lot of small tables for the overflow and it was very uncomfortable and noisy. They then gave us a wonderful booth which was perfect. Our server and the food was great."

  • "The food was wonderful, I didnt like the fact that even though we had reservations, we still had to wai over a half hour for a seat, and another twenty minutes for our food, and not once did our waitress come over and check on us, I know being Valentines you were extremely busy, so overall it was a pleasurable experience."

  • "My wife and I showed up for our reservation, I figured out later I made the reservation for the wrong night (13th !!) . The staff, however, responded brilliantly and we were able to be seated within just a few minutes. My wife had the dungenous crab which was delicious. Tiana our waitress did a great job and the food arrived fast and hot. I always enjoy dining out at McCormick and Schmick's Grill."

  • "We've been going to M&S restaurants for decades but this was our first visit to the Bridgeport location. We arrived on time for our reservations and were told it would be at least a 30 minute wait. The restaurant was packed and the waiting area spilled over with the crowd. Management needs to figure out how to run their reservation system and turn people away if they are full up, not make those with reservations wait. By the time we got to the table, they were out of several things on the menu. The waitress did take our corkage fees off for our trouble but honestly for the money, we will not go back."

  • "Went on Valentine's Day and were seated 20 minutes after our reservation time. That's probably not too bad considering the day. Our waiter was good, but seemed a bit put off when I asked for a clean water glass, but he promptly got a new one. It must've been the busiest day of the year. My meal was good, and the kid's meal was good but my wife's meal was pretty bad. The fish and side rice had little flavor and the beans were mostly raw."

  • "I made reservations 2 weeks before the date, and when we arrived it was very busy expected for Valentines Day but we waited at least 20 minutes for our table(too long) with reservations maybe overbooked I don't know give you one more shot food was great and it was a great evening."
