I received a confirmation call about our reservation that morning and when we arrived, we were seated in like 5-10 minutes. Our waiter was promptly with us and checked on us often. Our food came our fast and was all very good, the only problem was there was so much that we got full fast! With the majority of meals, you get an additional serving of a classic pasta to take home, so the food keeps coming even when you have left! Everything was timely and quick but we didn't feel rushed at all. Great atmosphere, romantic but also lively and you can see the whole restaurant is happy with their evening. It was the best experience for all of us. The food was excellent,but the most interesting aspect of the day was the wait staff and a young man name Eddie Ortiz. He as seen me before and for Mothers Day he bought me a cake especially for me. That in my opinion makes it very special. I will continue to go there. Ordered from the family style menu and had a great time. It wasn't too busy when we got there but started pcking up and as it got more crowded our waiter was not as attentive to us. Our waiter, Jim, was very knowledgable about menu questions we had as well as happy hour questions. He was very patient with the four children we had at the party and deserved his tip for that if nothing else. He was very good at keeping the adults happy too. The menu choices we made turned out to be good ones. I especially liked the lobster and pasta dish I selected. I went there for our Prom dinner and it was outstanding. One thing I did want to highlight was the excellent service I received upon arrival. As we got there, I went to go check in since I was the one who made the reservation. After I had given the hostess my information, she proceeded to tell me that my reservation was made for next month instead of Saturday. When I heard this, I was very distressed that I had messed up our reservation. Thankfully, the extreamly nice hostess said something to the effect of "I will see what we have available." And sure enough, she came through and got all 8 of us highschool seniors a table with a minimal wait. It was a last minute decision and everything fell into place. We had not used the online reservation service before and it worked ot great! We didn't like the ambience so asked to be moved- no problem, the staff were very accommodating. We had made a reservation and go reasonably often so I think we were a little disappointed with our first few minutes.
The food is always very good, but our starters were large enough for a main course. We do go to restaurants where portion size is controlled, and Maggiano's loses a few points from us because of this. We had no room for dessert so in the end the restaurant got a smaller return from us than it could have done.

We have a limited time at lunch and even when we were deep in conversation and clearly did not need anything he repeatedly asked if we needed anything. Our server was friendly, polite, and knowledgeable. Further, she knew exactly when to check on us and when to leave us alone. My girlfriend and I shared a caprese salad and it was delightful. The balsamic glaze was delicious. My date got the linguini Di mare and loved it. The clams, lobster, and shrimp were all cooked perfectly and the sauce was very well done. I got the lobster carbonara and also loved it. There was so much lobster meat in the dish! It wasn't like most restaurants who would put about a claw-worth of lobster meat. After dinner I had an espresso and my date had a cappuccino and both were amazing.
