The "bread before the bread" with the bean dip was SO good and then surprise! More bread that was SUPER delicious. The wine was good, the entree was excellent. My only compaint was that there were TOO many things to choose from. I tend to have a hard time deciding what to order but it usually comes down to 2 things... at Maestro's I couldn't choose from about 5 dishes. My boyfriend and I love Maestro's. In fact, I took him there for his birthday last year. We both enjoyed our Restaurant Week selections, which were not as limited as other participating establishments. We were promptly received, courtesly treated (had to wait for a reserved table, but not for long), and had a truly delicious meal. We were there on Saturday evening at the shank of the dinner hour. I'm not sure I'd do that again, opting in future for a mid-week or much later time - the room was, plainly put, LOUD. Our waiter was attentive, careful, informative, and running like a maniac. He more than earned his gratuity. Altogether, I would be happy to recommend Maestro's. Our dinners were extremely good, for which I was most grateful since we were being treated. Whether lunch, dinner, or a drink at the bar, you can expect a remarkable experience. I was most impressed dining on a very busy Saturday evening when our waiter, David, was able to service all his tables effectively and the kitchen was able to produce a meal that was hot, extremely well prepared and matched, with a thoughful presentation. A special note about our server who can have such influence in the overall dining experience; he was efficient, polite, always seemed to be smiling, and was well prepared. Thank you Chef LaPosta. They offer wonderful specials and offer additional choices on holidays. The wait staff is friendly and attentive. WeThe place was hopping! We had a wonderful meal after waiting just a few minutes for our table. The prixe fix dinner is an incredible value - the food is absolutely delicious. Salads were good, both the salmon and steak entrees were tasty, with generous portions and nice sides. Desserts were a little too sweet for me, but that homemade dark chocolate is a treat!
