  • "This was my third visit to Log Haven and I enjoyed everything they had to offer. Jeremy is the third wait staff that was very knowledgeable about everything they had to offer. The food was great this time as well as the other two times I have visited. The first visit was with a group of ten and when the food was being served, other waitstaff assisted with the delivery of each plate. No one was waiting for their dinner. I HIGHLY recommend Log haven for any outing you have in mind."

  • "I had heard good reports about this American-Fusion restaurant, and had to try it for my 20th anniversary. I ordered the daily special which included a ribeye steak, pommes frites and candied brussels sprouts. The steak was tender, flavorful and cooked to perfection. Hands down the best steak I have had in a long time, perhaps that I have ever had. Our server, Jeremy, was just outstanding and I appreciated his suggestions. The restaurant looks like an old cabin, with lots of space and subdued lighting. It was a little noisy, but that was mainly because the guests seated at a nearby table got progressively louder with each bottle they uncorked!"

  • "I took my girlfriend here for a bit of a special occasion. We hadn't seen each other in two months and I had come to visit her in a break in schooling and work. It was fantastic. The ambience was great. The fireplace couch before dinner was a great touch. Dinner was so great. We had the homemade nachos, and then, I had the buffalo, she had the New York steak. Absolutely some of the best food I have ever had. 5 stars for sure!"

Unnecessarily ambitious in the blend of (too) many flavors. I might choose some simpler entrees next time. The server was gracious but a bit amateur. The views and ambience were exceptional. Desserts were above average."

  • "I took my lady to Log Haven for a "make up" Valentines dinner since I was traveling on the actual date. From walking up the walkway to the restaurant from the Valet to sitting in front of the fireplace with the great ambiance (complete with piano music) with a cocktail waiting for the table, the Log Haven atmosphere never disappoints and is always a favorite. The greeter recommended a new drink when I ordered a High West Old Fashioned . . . the "Log Haven Hippster" which was quite enjoyable. The server was excellent in his explanations of the food and specials and the food was five star all the way. I have never been disappointed here and this will always be the choice for those really special occasions."

The menu was very balanced between more traditional American fare (with flair) and more gamey food (elk, bison, duck). The sides of eggplant pate and polenta were amazing alongside the filet mignon - but all of my fellow diners loved their dishes (pork, fish). Background piano music and flowers made for a wonderful experience."

We sat fireside, and enjoyed a romantic evening for two. The wine list included European, domestic, and local selections. Our salads were dressed just right, with a wonderful vinaigrette. My husband ordered the pork tenderloin, which was moist and flavorful. I ordered the duck breast with pappardelle, and was disappointed. The duck was cut into very small chunks, not the sliced breast I expected. I would definitely return; the overall experience was very positive."
