"My wife and I recently attended for our anniversary. This was our first stay and we loved it. From the drinks, appatizers, and main meal the food was wonderful. The service was second to non and the environment was perfect. The piano player played very well. We had a enjoyable time. If you plan on drinking make sure you have a driver service because the canyon to and from is very windy. Also be prepared to spend a lot of money ESPECIALLY if you will be buyin alcohol. We paid just under 200 but had a great time. Highly recommend."

"TRULY AMAZING AND UNIQUE EXPERIENCE! Celebrated with a group of friends last night and can't say enough good things about Log Haven's food, wine selections, specialty drinks, service staff and setting. Set 4 miles up a pristine canyon and surrounded by towering fir trees, we were instantly enchanted and took photos by a mountain waterfall. As we entered the log cabin we were greeted warmly by Stephan and Brenda and by a warm fire. From there the evening just got better. The tuna appetizer wowed our tastebuds - who ever would think that guacamole and asian spices would work so well? The low calorie menue surprised our friends because it was rich and flavorful without depending on butter. The men loved their elk and bison! GO HERE!"

"We have always enjoyed this restaurant and have found the food to be excellent. We use this as a very special place for birthdays and anniversaries, which this was. We were there when there was a wedding however and I don't know if it was the challenges presented by the wedding or something else, but the quality of the food was not that good. My wife had the fish special, which was not great. Of course, we had just returned from Hawaii and fresh fish but the fish was not very tasty. My special was o.k. Not great. The lobster was dry and chewy. We sat by a very noisy large group separated only by a curtain. Not romantic at all."
