An extensive wine list features local appellations as well as selections from all over the globe. Lido has been awarded the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence for six years in a row. For an evening to remember, we offer a 4-6 course Chef's Tasting menu expertly paired with a diverse selection of wines.

Visit us each weekday for Sunset Happy Hour featuring appetizer and drink specials from 3-6pm or weekends for our Champagne Brunch. Private events are available for groups of 2-250 guests.

  • "We went to this restaurant given its relatively good reviews and supposedly "scenic view". You can't really see anything but the hotel pool from the restaurant. If you go outside and walk a bit you can see you are near the ocean up on a hill but from the restaurant, nothing. The service was attentive but seemed to cater to "regulars" than visitors. I would recommend that you try someplace else first."

  • "It was not bad, but it seems I am spoiled. The choices are very limited, which is not bad, but the restaurant should also cater to special dietary wishes. The do not. Portions are too big. I still love the Paul Baucuse style. Please make smaller portions or give the option for it."

  • "We did the 5 course tasting menu because it all sounded so good. They did a great job of spacing the courses and the presentation was fantastic. My only complaint was that the abalone was pretty small and the halibut was overdone and therefor a little dry. The salmon was good and the lamb chop was fabo!! As was the crepe. ALL of the accompaniments were wonderful which made it hard to stop eating and save room for yet another course. Also, they served an Amuse Bouche, and an Inter Mezzo!"

  • "Usually the service is good to excellent. Friday night our service was horrible! The Server had a real attitude, unfriendly and full of himself. When we asked him about one of the dishes on the Chefs Tasting Menu we were having he went and got the menu, handed to us, and told us we could look up each dish ourselves as it was served! We've never experienced such poor service! Not to mention we seldom saw him after that, except at the very end of our meal to bring our bill and get his tip. We have eaten at local "dives" and received better service than we got at this upscale Resturant. Shame on the Server, and shame on the Manager to allow this level of service for the prices paid. Great Chef, Terrible Service!!!"

  • "My wife and I celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary at Lido and had a marvelous meal. We both opted for the Chef's Tasting menu, which offered a nice selection and variety of seafood in small enough portions to allow you to eat a 5 course meal. Service was prompt, friendly and helpful, and views from the windows were beautiful. Only improvement we would mention is that the main dining room is basically open without any separating barriers (walls, drapes, etc) between any tables, which eliminated any sense of privacy and on a busy night could make for a less intimate evening. We'll definitely go back for the delicious food."

  • "$29 brunch with spectacular ocean view, amazing food and great service has to be the best bargain available anywhere. Oh, did I mention bottomless Mimosas? Our server Jessica was attentive and professional. Todd the manager also came by to check on us. Last but not least the chef, Jacob, come out to make sure we enjoyed our food. My date started with an Ahi tartar that was absolutely delicious while I had 5 plump sweet little oysters from Morro Bay. For our entrees, she had eggs Benedict and crab Benedict for me. Perfectly prepared and delicious. desert was creme brulle for her and the best bread pudding ever for me. Just wow!"

The executive chef called me personally after hearing that one guest had special dietary needs. This has never happened before in any other restaurant. Well after a fantastic dinner, with a breath taking sunset and service to match, our travels will be to our local gem! Don't know how we overlooked this diamond right in our own back yard! They were out of the featured ingredient on the highlighted first entrée, drinks were delivered very late, as were such items as additional butter and Parmesan cheese. The restaurant was not crowded which heightened our disappointment. We had touted this restaurant to another couple we had brought there and they and we were less than impressed. I may give it another chance, but not with another couple."

  • "We go to this restaurant mostly for special occasions. While last time's tasting menu was a letdown, this season's looked to be outstanding so we thought we'd return and try it. Imagine our disappointment when we sat down, only to be told that the tasting menu (posted online) was not yet available! The manager offered a glass of champagne and suggested we could order the menu items a la carte (but, then, why not the whole tasting menu?!). Determined not to let this disappointment ruin our evening (it was our anniversary), we did cobble together a meal of some of the items which was quite tasty. The standout was the diver scallops, seared perfectly. The homemade pasta needs work, but the sauce was delicious. Wine list: excellent but pricey."

A more welcoming and friendly hostess is needed, and better tasting deserts. The waiter asked is for our water preference and we indicated the free flat stuff is fine.   • "We watched sunset on the Pacific Ocean while dining outdoors at Lido. That alone would have justified sitting there, but even sweeter was the five-course chef's tasting menu which treated us with one delicacy after the other. Beyond the outstanding quality of the food, the meal is a major bargain: $60 for five courses. Do the math: there's practically nothing on Lido's (or any other fine restaurant's) menu for $12, let alone the scallops, rack of lamb, stuffed sole and other delicacies we savored. And to top it off, the first-rate restaurant did not charge any corkage on the two bottles of wines we had purchased in the nearby wineries of the Santa Ynez Valley and Paso Robles. Lido is a winner on all counts!"

  • "The scallops on pork belly, which was recommended by our waiter, was undercooked scallops on fried fat and the sauce might have been good except I was unable to get the scant amount from the plate onto the appetizer. The sweet potato and apple soup, which i was really looking forward to, tasted more like warm applesauce than a soup. The meringue in the pavlova was so hard we couldn't even cut it with a knife. The lemon sauce was tasty though. The wairter was very nice."

  • "This was the most unimpressive meals I have had in a long time, the service was slow but friendly and they were out of several items on the menu and we were there for an earlier dinner time. The tables are set to close to each other, and the night we were there they had 2 large groups and live music, so the noise level was so loud we could not hear each other. Even if it had been quieter, the meal itself did not lend for a second booking."

I took my boyfriend there on 2/13/14 to celebrate him getting into a 4 year university and at the end of the night he proposed to me with the help of Lido's amazing staff. I will remember that night as the best night of my life, thank you for making it so special for us!! We will definitely be back soon."

  • "What a surprise- we were staying at dolphin Bay and decided to eat at the Lido rather than driving somewhere else. We got the $30 special offered during the month of January - my husband had the smokedmeatloaf and I had the seared artic char- both came beautifully prepared and were very tasty. It was 3 courses- we had sweet potato/ Apple soup for our first course and a dessert as well. We were very pleasantly surprised how good everything was- will definately return( wine list was extensive ) There was also a 3 piece band playing and many people dancing"
