Special Events & Promotions: L'Artusi can accommodate private dining events for groups of up to 120 people, making us the perfect location for business dinners, social gatherings, rehearsal dinners and many other events. Our private Wine Cellar can accommodate up to 16 people for a seated dinner and the upstairs mezzanine can hold up to 50 people for cocktails and dinner. Opened in December of 2008, L'Artusi is the second step from the team that brought dell'anima to the West Village.

Chef/Partner Gabriel Thompson and Beverage Director/Partner Joe Campanale share their expertise in Italian Epicurean Hospitality on a larger stage. Featuring rustic cuisine,… a crudo bar, specialty cheese program, private dining room, and a walk-in wine cellar, L’Artusi offers guests a variety of dining options and a warm, friendly vibe.

Our 110 seat restaurant, designed by Brooke Maples, features two floors of comfortable banquette seating, extended traditional bar, cheese bar and a chef's counter over-looking the open kitchen. Private dining opportunities are also available in our 2500 bottle walk-in wine cellar.Continued

"I ate here on Friday and it's now Sunday and I haven't shut up about how amazing the food and service were. Highly recommended: the roasted mushrooms, the octopus, the spaghetti and the pork chop. The servings are on the smaller side, made to share. The wi e list was extensive yet easy to understand and our waiter was knowledgable and super cool. The bar scene was more for eating and it was packed. We left after ten and the place was just getting packed, so don't be afraid to make a late rezzie. Overall, it was an amazing meal and a Really fun evening."

"The cheese selection was excellent. Homemade ricotta is out of this world. Creamy, but still dense and rich. Excellent beef carpaccio. Ceasar salad was good, but it's ceasar salad - not hard to botch that. Entrees were delicious. The chicken was baked to perfection - great, crispy, buttery skin and the hen of the woods in a light gravy made for a great dish. The branzino with lemon, olives and a touch of honey was also well done. Not too salty with a crispy skin. The side dishes were disappointing - the brusselsprouts were over cooked, where we were left with overly crispy leaves and very few hearts of the brusselsprouts. The cauliflower was a bit overseasoned for my tastes, not allowing their natural flavor to shine through"

"Went with a friend and we shared five dishes, they were all wonderful from the salad through the pastas and the fish. The staff was very knowledgeable and the service was perfect. A nice casual spot. We will definetly go back. Also,mlocated in the heart of a great neighborhood, location helps create the whole experience."

"The food was amazing, very moderately priced so we got to try a lot of dishes! My boyfriend and I went for my birthday and he said it's the best restaurant we've been to! Very cool west village spot"
