The atmosphere is light and airy, with American country charm, sidewalk seating, an exhibition kitchen, and the new Oakville Room seating up to 36 guests for private functions. The changing menu, created by Chef Scott Wall includes seasonal, farm-fresh American fare featuring traditional and updated recipes. Produce, meats, poultry, fish, and other products from local ranchers, growers, and fishermen. Housemade desserts; local and regional wines.

  • "Our son was with us for our lunch at Lark Creek. He is chef for Tender, the fine dining restaurant at the Luxor in Vegas. He did an internship at Campton Place under Bradley Ogden, and of course when Bradley was in Las Vegas, they kept in touch."

  • "I've eaten here many times.. The food is always delicious and the service is usually great. Unfortunately this night we had terrible service. A friend was in from our of town so we were having a little reunion with other friends.. Our waitress didn't seem to know how to open a bottle of champagne, then took a long time to even get her to come take our order, and then did not check back w us very often. We ended up being there for about 3 hours, and not because we were lingering w conversation... Service was slow.. Anyhow, food was great but when you go to a more expensive restaurant, you expect great service as well. Hopefully the waitress was just having a bad night."

  • "We were visiting a friend at John Muir Hospital and wanted to have a chance afterward to visit and eat lunch. We were pleased that Lark Creek was able to take us at 2:00. The food was very good and the the service was good. The waitress was a bit slow, but very nice, and it was not busy. We never did get the requested bread basket. Our water was filled promptly by the bus boy. But all in all, a very nice experience."

I had the Halibut which was amazing and my husband had the meatloaf...everything was fantastic and it was cooked to perfection! Our service was great which just made the experience that much better... I highly recommend Lark Creek we will be going back soon!"

Absolutely no recognition of our anniversary even though we had noted it in the reservation and told the maitre d'. Same thing when we came previously for a birthday dinner. Hard to believe this restaurant is related to Lark Creek Inn or One Market."

  • "We ordered the salmon and the meatloaf. The salmon was beautifully done and was very delicious. The bread was great. My Husband is a huge meatloaf fan. His meal was overcooked and the sauce that purported to be a home made BBQ tasted like ketchup and vinegar. That was pretty disappointing as it was the main motivation for going to Lark Creek. Can't say I will be back."

  • "We were seated in the corner table next to the kitchen door - the walls funnelled all sound to our table - so loud that conversation was difficult - avoid this table! Calamari appetizer was tough and rubbery with heavy breading. I had the Thursday Special - Organic Turkey Dinner - turkey was bland and flavorless; yams, mashed potatoes and dressing served cafeteria-style in a lump as though shaped by ice-cream scooper. Turkey Dressing had cloying sweet flavor; no evidence of spices in other dishes. I didn't finish my meal and didn't take it home. Service, though, was excellent. So was my Raspberry Lemonade. But the food was not what I expected from Lark Creek. Not eager to go back."

  • "I haven't been here in at least a year and always enjoyed the food, so some friends and I decided to meet for dinner at 6:30. It was PACKED because apparently they were running a 1/2 price wine promo. Two of us had salmon, prepared differently, which was very tasty. Another friend had the roast turkey special (with yams, mashed potatoes, dressing, cranberry sauce) that she loved. I was sorry that I was eating virtuously because it looked delicious. While it is usually a quiet and pleasant place to sit and have a drink and dinner, the place was really busy. To their credit, they had a lot of servers and the food was good, hot, and generous. I will definitely be back."

  • "I thought this was an excellent restaurant, with better than average food. Prices are on the high side, but not necessarily for this area. While the service was gracious and helpful, it was very, very slow. We were offered dessert menus but had to decline because our 2 hour parking was expiring. Fortunately, we were not in a hurry and enjoyed visiting during the wait, but service was slow. It was half price wine month, by the bottle in July, so that was a bonus and because we were not in a hurry, made the wait less annoying."

  • "We arrived for our 1:30 lunch on a weekday. The restaurant was surprisingly noisy for that time of day. However, our server was attentive and welcoming. One of us had paella on a bed of risotto. All was eaten with enjoyment except for the risotto with the comment that it was just a bit oily. The flavor was appealing, however. The other had the halibut on a bed of corn. Every bit was relished. All in all, an enjoyable experience."

  • "We were there on a Monday night. restaurant was busy and the noise level was high. Very hard to hear person sitting across table from you! Acoustics are bad and have always been bad at Lark Creek.Thought they had done something about it. I had to ask twice for bread. Salad took over an hour to get. service was very slow. Food when it arrived was delicious. I had the low calorie special and it was wonderful. Fruit on sorbet looked a little tired tho. Others had Paella which was wonderful"

  • "This was the first time my husband and I came and we will definitely go back. We started with a couple cocktails and they were delicious. I had a martini and my husband had their special edelflower sour. I had their half chicken and it was to die for. The barbecue sauce was so good. It came with a sweet corn polenta and I ate every bite. My husband had the halibut and he said it was delicious. For dinner our server Nathan recommended a Pinot Noir. I am a big Pinot person and it was perfect. We were full but our server recommended their butterscotch pudding. We decided to try it. It is the most smooth creamy not too sweet pudding I have ever had. He told us they use real scotch in it. I would go back just for dessert."

  • "We've been coming to Lark Creek every July for a friend's birthday (and half price wine month) for years. The food is fabulous and the service is always top notch. My only disappointment is that the vegetarian pasta has been the same all this time. Actually, most of the menu seems the be same as it is every year in July. But I guess when you have a good thing going, you stick with it. The tamale pancake was devoured as soon as it hit the table. The flat bread was surprising flavorful for how simple it looked, and was also a hit. I know we will be back soon."

We went for my son's birthday dinner and the pot roast lacked flavor (I only took 2 bites) and the pasta, which is usually my son's favorite also lacked seasoning as well.   • "Even with early open table reservations, we were seated between the noisy bar and the bathroom. The food was good, not great. Several had the filet and they were OK. The meatloaf was dry. The wait staff was not very attentive as we had to hunt him down just to give our order. I think going at five o'clock is too early!! I had eaten here many times before and was always satisfied, but for our special dinner to be so disappointing, I will not be returning."

  • "We had dinner on Saturday night at 7:30 and were seated at a table for two near a window. As soon as we were seated the waiter came to take our order. We quickly looked at the wine list and ordered wine. When he came back a few minutes later with our wine, he asked for our dinner order and we told him we would like to enjoy our wine for awhile before ordering. He made a surly comment about us dragging out our time at the table. We ordered dinner the next time he came back and were done with our 3 course meal in less than an hour .The waiter must have been in a hurry to leave, as he brought the bill with the dessert. The food and wine were very good as was the service by other employees but we won't go back anytime soon."

  • "Went for my anniversary dinner and was ultimately underwhelmed. I ordered the nightly special which was gumbo. The roux was overcooked and although I like okra there was way to much of it for my taste also there was on two pieces of sausage in the whole thing. My wife had the NY steak and it was just ok she said. The combination of topings didn't work for her and she thought the blue cheese was excessive. The service was good overall and the Moscow Mules were top notch I will go back to the bar just for them."

It has been a while since I have been there, but was searching for a place to take my wife on her birthday and decided on Lark Creek. Every thing we were served was fresh, the service was great, and we appreciated the "Healthy 3-Course" offering. I will be telling my friends and coming back soon."

  • "Calamari - chewy/arrived at table semi-warm Halibut entrée was delicious however, both myself and friend having the same dish were VERY disappointed with the extreme addition of raw diced red onions - it didn't make sense and really spoiled the dish. We couldn't finish our meal...for the price - I expected more from this restaurant! won't be returning...."
