"We had brunch at La Provence this past Sunday. Everything about the dining experience was excellent. We were already deciding when we would be back for dinner during our first course. The squash blossoms were amazing! After brunch, we walked around the farm and that was a special treat! The baby goats are adorable!"

"Only opportunity in New Orleans Metro area to enjoy classic French countryside dining which is one of the joys of visiting France. Pretty wooded setting and country inn atmosphere with classic Provencal dishes and some updated bravura culinary touches. It is worth going for the pate alone, be sure to bring a jug home with you."

"$40.00 pre fixe. Almost impossible to choose from 7 or 8 choices for both starter and entree as all sounded incredible. The four of us each chose something different and there were no disappointments. Crawfish dumplings and Pork 3 ways were standouts, but all were very good. Dessert choices were not at same level, but good. Good value."

"I took my husband for Sunday Easter Brunch/His Birthday and it was exactly as we had envisioned it as being a John Besh restaurant! The cottage is awesome! The Hotess, Ms. Carrie is as good a it gets! She can stand next to any maitre'd and then some! Our waitress, Kelly, was very sweet and informative and the chef, WOW!!! The food and presentation is nothing short of pure perfection! Make sure you take a stroll outback to say "Hi" to the farm friends! We'll definitely be back:)"

"La Provence had absolutely delicious food. The Oysters Ooh-la-la and lacquered duck were to die for. My wife had the swordfish picatta which was very good but not up to the same level of quality as the other selections. Her stuffed quail gumbo appetizer was wonderful. We were celebrating our 35th anniversary and looking forward to the experience. Disappointingly, service that started well ultimately mutated into benign neglect. Our waiter clearly thought that a bigger tip lie with another couple and our service just evaporated. Unfortunate for him as we both worked our way through undergraduate school waiting tables and tend to wildly over-tip for simple above-average service. We will go back though - the food is just too good."

"My wife and I went for brunch and were blown away. We have eaten at two other Besh restauarants including August, so we both went in with high expectations. They were exceeded. The atmosphere was great, the surroundings were fabulous, and everyone was so happy. I have noticed the staff at Besh restaurants is always so nice an the staff at LaP did not disappoint. The food was amazing. They brought us chicken liver pate with toasted bread to start. We were both hesitant, but after sampling, ate all of it. The ratatouille my wife got was fantastic, and the nutella stuffed French toast I had for my third course was delicious. I can't wait to go back. With a three course brunch for $28, it will not be long until we do."

"Visiting from Arkansas and experienced a wonderful brunch. The atmosphere was elegant but not stuffy elegance, very relaxing atmosphere. Blue crab bisque was delicious as was the veal and the grits were amazing. The chicken liver pate was wonderful, the bread pudding divine. Expansive wine list and very affordable. Service impeccable."
