"Last time I was disappointed they ran out of prime rib, but this time, no problem. It is simply the best. But try the wedge salad as well. Made with an oil based, instead of cream based. Went for my birthday and the free dessert was a nice touch, but there was one problem. It was not free. We did not order the bread pudding and we got charged $3 for it. Kinda cheesy of a move on their part."

"If you are new to Kreis' and love great food with outstanding service you need to make time for a wonderful experience. They are known for their Prime Rib and Steaks but you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. The atmosphere is very relaxing and quiet. We will definitely return."

"I was very please with our dining experience at Kreis'. While I tend to be a little bit of a foodie, my husband is a pure midwestern guy who really wanted a delicious steak on his birthday. We have been to other "nice" steakhouses, but hands down this was the most delicious steak I have had in a while. The my steak was cooked to perfection. When the chef pulled the steak off the grill it was allowed to rest on the plate in which it was served. This allowed for all those succulent juices from the spices and meat to pool around the meat. Our waiter was a little old school, but that added to the ambiance of the dinner. He warmed up to our table about mid-way through the dinner. Overall we had a wonderful experience!"

"The food was delicious, don't get me wrong, but there was nothing about this restaurant that I would find memorable... My girlfriend and I started with the bacon wrapped sea scallops, next course I had the ribeye and she had 'The Odd Couple', and while the steaks were seasoned well, juicy, and tender, the seafood was tough and overcooked slightly. The wallpaper was tan, there are old paintings on the wall, and with the lights low, the place felt a little dingy and outdated. Tables were obnoxiously close and the dining room got real loud from time to time. On the flip side, the cheesecake and carrot cake were amazing."
