We tried the bread pudding this time and it was huge! Definitely leave more room for dessert next time. Will be back!"

  • "My family and I dine here all the time and everything has always been awesome! This time...we ordered similar food except the fried rice is uncooked. It's still raw and crunchy. The server replaced it but it's still taste the same. The restaurant just need to be more careful when cooking the rice. That's the only reason why I rate 3 stars instead of 5, otherwise, it would have been a 5."

  • "OK, the pork tenderloin stands apart from the rest of this review. It is an accomplishment. I don't know how they pack so much flavor into all those cell walls, but it is smoky, balanced, moist, and just lovely. But I was forced to order sushi--again--because everything else on their menu was over 1000 calories. The sushi was ok. some pieces were a little strong in the fishy-flavor. Not the best I've had. And there are few accompaniments to go with a roll. My friend got tenderloin noodles. Greasy and kind of boring. The waiter was able to let me taste a white blend before ordering a glass-which was delightful. So that helped. We will go back because my husband is addicted to the tenderloin, but I'm not ringing the bell for you guys."

  • "We went there Valentine's Day for nice evening of Sushi, Sake and conversation. The restaurant was busy, but we had reservations and they seated us on time and without any hitches. We had the sake sampler, Kirin beers and 3 varieties of sushi rolls. The Unagi is awesome!! This is my 3rd time here and I've never had a bad sushi roll. The whole evening was great and we enjoyed almost everything about the restaurant. Due to the nature of Valentine's Day and the busyness of the resturant, the server seemed a little slower than we're used to. We ordered 2x 22oz Kirin Light Beers, in large bottles, and had to wait another 6mins to get glasses. When the glasses were delivered, they were hot! Seriously? This should be addressed."

  • "Met a friend for lunch and as usual the food was terrific and service good. Oriental salad, soup, edamame and iced tea times 2. All good. All fresh. Slight problem with the check, but no big deal, because it was quickly corrected. Not a server problem, but a computer glitch that didn't price at the lunch combo price, but individual full price. Caught it, fixed it, and went on our happy day."

  • "OMG / I ordered the Hawaiian ribeye - and they were out !!! At 6:30 pm. !!! No excuse for that - PERIOD !! Actually suggests thry are prepping to a budget, not customers. Which suggests STRONGLY they are in $$$ problems. Especially that early, this tone of year on a signature dish. Also the bar was only 85% full. Another bad sign this time of year. Northpark mall was packed - they were not. And the "substitute" order of meatloaf was overcooked and under sauced - suggesting a sub-marginal cooking staff. Still another bad sign. Oh, and nothing even offered as a comp since the first choice was "out" - another bad sign of not really thinking about future customers."

  • "We reserved for 12 at 11:30 confirmed over the phone that we were on our way but when we got there, our table was not set. So we had to wait to be seated while they put tables and place settings together for us. After that it was smooth sailing. Our waitress was very patient and knowledgeable about the food and even made some alternate suggestions for some of us. We will definitely go back, I just hope next time we don't have to wait seeing that we were on lunch."

  • "The gal at the front was polite to me but not once did she smile or appear to enjoy being there. I ended up waiting on a friend at the bar for over 30 mins-the male bartender was nice & gave me the happy hour menu & walked away to do something. The female bartender swooped in & brusquely asked if I knew what I wanted yet, no hello or smile, I asked what the HH wines were, she replied "Chardonnay or Merlot" & turned her back on me, leaving me unable to order even if I HAD been ready. The nice one returned & politely told me the names of the wines & offered me a taste. I ordered a Sangria. The other one came back (again, no trace of a smile) & said "Are you going to eat something or are we just drinking?" Good thing I wasn't a secret shopper."

  • "One of my favorite things about this restaurant is their open-wall bar. It let's you sit outside and get away from being "in the mall" while getting out of the summer heat, keeping you cool with the breeze coming through from the mall. Nice wine list and starters but, on this visit, I had their special apple cider brined pork tenderloin. This was a really amazing entree. On the pricey side at ~$21 but made two meals out of it. The accompanying green beans were the hit at our table of four. They were done with nearly crystallized, fried(?)garlic slices that I mistook, at first, for slivered almonds. Nice respite from the heat, on the fine dining side with the mall location convenience."
