Our seating was @ 6ish Saturday night. We felt the urgency from the staff to turn the table from the start, this should not be the case for a restaurant that is SO pricey. This has got to be better handled by the staff. Beyond that, 3 of us had great meals...2 of the evenings specials and the other the filet. The other, however, the duck, as undercooked, chewy and basically inedible. Deserts were excellent...

The food at kitchen was great. We had fish and it was cooked perfectly. The sides that come with your meal are a selection of 2 from a list of about 8. All were good. What I really liked about the experience was the end of meal visit by the chief, who is also the owner. He really wanted feedback and cared about our experience. By the way, the coconut cake was a highlight.

We had perhaps one of the best meals ever. I had the fisherman's stew, absolutely melted in my mouth. My husband had their famous hamburger that he said was the best he had ever had. The waitress was superb. All parts of the dining experience were excellent.

It was my first visit to Kitchen, and I cannot rave enough about the food, etc. I had grilled salmon over sauteed vegetables (kale, spinach, radish, etc) that was the tastiest I've ever had. My guest had the portobello mushroom/eggplant appetizer, and the sea bass, which also evoked raves. Dessert of white chocolate bread pudding was delightful. All in all, the flavors in each dish were exciting and delicious. Our reservation was for 6:15, and they seated us immediately. Service was consistently good, even though the restaurant filled up quickly. They are expanding into the space next door, and we were told it would be for tastings and large groups. It is still a very small restaurant, so the noise level can me distracting.

We have been to Kitchen on a number of occasions. We love the ambience, the outstanding and knowledgeable service and - of course - the food. Every item we have tried on the menu has been outstanding, but on the current menu I would particularly recommend the pork chop and the beet salad. The fish is always fresh, and can be prepared very simply or with a sauce. The wine list is interesting and offers good value at every price point. And, if you are ever hosting a private event, the private dining room offers a wonderful fixed price menu that makes for a memorable evening. Overall, the Kitchen is a gem.

I booked reservations here for my Fiance's 34th birthday a few weeks in advance as we were traveling to West Palm Beach from Houston, TX. Since we were a little unfamiliar with the area, we were about 30 minutes late for our reservation! The staff and owners were very down to earth and were not upset about it! Our waitress made an amazing wine recommendation and our meal was incredible! My finace had the foie gras burger and it was divine. A self proclaimed burger connoisseur, he said it could be the best burger he ever had! He was adamant about letting the chef know. We finished with the chocolate mousse pie which was incredible. Thank you for a great experience!

Three of us went and one of us enjoyed their meal. The first thing I ordered they were out of. The second thing I ordered our server said they were out of as well. The hostess/owner came and asked if everything was ok and I explained that now my second choice they were out of too. She came to our table and exclaimed they were not out of it. I preceded to ask our server if the pasta was made in house and she had to go check (which means "no" or she would have known). I ended up ordering a filet which I almost never order out. It was very mediocre. My daughter ordered a burger (which the server suggested) and again very mediocre. I felt most of the choices were not very creative. Price tag was $250 for three, waste of money!

We happened to go early and there was one other table there having dinner. It was quite small of a place, so you need to be prepared for that. Our service was really good, everyone was very nice and checked on us perfectly. My husbands fish was undercooked, well one piece was and the other 2 were perfect. Big no no for them is no valet…there are only 8 parking places out front we saw numerous people drive through and have to go find a place on the street somewhere. For the prices there we felt a valet might be in order, however the place is small not a lot of tables so maybe not justified a valet???

Our first visit & came with good friends of ours. My husband ordered a pork chop (which was extremely thick), which was fine but had to sent it back, due to raw in the center. Waitress was very gracious and immediately brought it back. Upon its return, still was not cooked through. The chef and also his wife both came out to apologize...our fish specials were superb and the sides fabulous. Even though they did not charge for my husband's meal, he was needless to say, hungry when we left. We live, and my husband's business is in Palm Beach and waited till season was over because you were totally booked (excellent for you !!).... so for him it was just a bad first impression.

The Ahi tuna with mango and avocado, the crab & shrimp cake, and the eggplant-portobello "lasagna" were excellent. Kitchen has a nice atmosphere. Other reviewers complained that the tables were very close together, but we found it to be fine. The table spacing is better than what one would find in a bigger city, like New York or Paris, for a restaurant of this type.

We went based on the positive reviews here and on other sites - thinking this place would be similar to The Grove in Delray Beach, which we love. We were quite disappointed. The service was wonderful but unfortunately that could not make up for the food or the ambiance. Tables are spaced very closely together which makes for an uncomfortably loud, crowded environment. We had the burrata and the eggplant lasagna. The eggplant was tasty. The burrata was hiding under and absurd amount of arugula. Second course was chicken schnitzel and seared duck breast. The chicken was tasty, but also covered with a ridiculous amount of arugula, radishes and mushrooms. The duck was awful. Rare to the point of being gelatinous, skin not crisp and too fatty.

Heard so much about this restaurant that I was excited to try it. The reservation process is a nightmare. Kitchen acts like its doing you a favor to give you a reservation which are at 2 times only. We got there at 6:30 and only 2 other tables were filled. As two women we were put at the smallest table. Service was ok. Food was good. Prices ridiculously expensive. I would not return as it was not worth all the hype.

The Kitchen has been open less than a year, but it already is an institution. The menu is interesting, the wine list is a well curated mix of expensive and interesting less expensive bottles, and even the music is well chosen. Perhaps best of all is the welcoming nature of the restaurant - not always the case where a restaurant has plenty of business - and the very friendly and competent waitstaff. We also have hosted a party in the Kitchen's small party room (capacity 10 to 12) that was greatly enjoyed by everyone. My one quibble would be that while there are specials, a few of the menu items could rotate more frequently. We will be back often.
