This reataurant is a quiet oasis
in middle of Chinatown. We experienced an outside courtyard which is great for larger parties up to 12 people. The food is good with generous partions and the BYOB as of now helps ease the liquor bill. Great place."

Tiny restaurant, horrible service.
If you are trying to have a good night, avoid this place."

Our first experience at Kan Zaman
better than we expected. We went for lunch and ordered the Chicken Kebab Sandwich with Iced Moroccan Mint Tea. I expected the chicken sandwich to be made with two slices of bread but to my surprise, it came in a pita bread. It was a prefect blend of seasoned-juicy chicken with garlic spread on the pita bread served with salad on the side. The ambience was warm and cozy. Service was great! Our hostess never let my ice tea get low and our food was brought out in a reasonable time. We definitely will be dining there again to try other dishes! You should too!"

My friends and I found this place
on accident while walking to our car. It was closed, but we peered through the window and could see the dining room... the small room with about 10 tables and pretty painted walls. We knew we had to try it! We made our reservations for a Wednesday night when there would be belly dancing at 7:30 p.m. The service was efficient, the food was fantastic and the atmosphere phenomenal! We enjoyed the belly dancing and will be back again for her and for the Chicken!"

The beef kebab sandwich is my
favorite and the side salad it comes with is great - fresh greens with a nice, tangy dressing."

Indoor and outdoor patio are
offered for eating. Indoor area has nice hanging pictures. No air conditioning, but ceiling fans are used. Mid day is too hot to eat inside. The patio has about 15 small tables, but much cooler. One side looks at the rustic brick wall back of the restaurant which is a reminder of the medinas of Morocco. Opposite looks into a garden area which needs a lot if work. If the garden were cleaned up it would make a world of difference in the ambience. The tables are small, ask for a table for four of you are planning to sample different dishes. Ask for extra napkins. There is a charge for hot sauce. BYOB, Soda, mint tea, coffee is on the pricey side. Food very good and large portions."

We sat inside and the acoustics
was so bad we could hardly hear the conversation. Next time we will definitely request a table outside. Otherwise the food was good. Service could be a bit better but ok."

The restaurant got slammed with a
bunch of tables all at once when we arrived for lunch, so our food took longer than we had hoped for, but it was well worth the wait. Every bite was delicious. All 8 of us raved about our choices from lamb kabob to lamb sausage. The owner personally came over to offer his apologies for the delay in lunch and treated us to a pitcher of their house-made Moroccan tea. We would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone and will all be returning for more!"

I haven't had my taste buds this
excited in a while. Quaint, small restaurant, big flavors in their dishes. Need to work on their service. Waited a while for drinks and received the wrong appetizer. Still planning on going back to taste some of their other dishes. Must make reservations to be seated in the backyard!"

Everything was delicious. The
vegetables with my couscous were fresh and perfectly prepared. The lamb was so tasty. We had the pancake dessert, sweet and just the right amount of crunch with the almonds. Remember to bring your own wine."

Our party of 6 enjoyed the salads,
soup, lamb dishes and the chicken tajine. The falafel was good, but somewhat dense. Desserts were interesting and flavorful as well. Will definitely go back to try more dishes."

we have been a few times now and
always a great dining experience and the food is awesome."

The only complaint I would have
about this restaurant is that our food took 40 minutes for lunch."

Awesome service. Was able to book
for valentine's day. They were very friendly and have awesome food. Definitely a place I would go again."

Loved this charming restaurant.
Food was awesome though I think more pita would be nice with such a huge serving of hummus. All in all, I was happy with my experience."
