They did nothing to accommodate special requests for the very-fixed pre-fix menu for my guests with special dietary needs and so therefore they could not have dinner (unless they wanted to pay $115 plus a surcharge for an 'alteration' to the menu for ONE dish).
I will not be back and neither will my party.

This is a overpriced Korean restaurant and no real special meal. The portions were very small and food was fair. If you want Korean food, go to 32nd Street. I would not recommend this place to anyone. For the price of the food, not very good.

Overall it was a great meal. For one of us who isn't a foodie--it was the best meal he's had--for the others who have tried many of the top restaurants in NYC--it definitely kept up with the best of them. A few dishes fell short either in terms of prep or flavor--a bit one dimensional. The service was good. Definitely worth a visit.

Superlative dining experience due to the winning combination excellent service, lovely venue and beautifully executed food. The presentations and concepts of some dishes could be somewhat precious, and perhaps more continental than Korean; however, everything was delicious, if not exceptional! Because of the expense this restaturant is a terrific selection for a special occasion. It was an enormous treat to enjoy such an unusual and civilized meal.

Totally knocked out by the food. To paraphrase the old commercial: 'I can't believe it's Korean'...certainly not like any Korean food I've ever had. A bit pricey but worth every penny. Among the four in our party, we had mains of duck, pork and cod, each presented beautifully and devoured completely.

I took my parents and sister to JUNKSIK to celebrate my parent's 35th anniversary, and I couldn't be happier. The manager started us off with a complimentary bottle of rose champagne which was lovely. We ordered the 5 course tasting menu and picked a selection of dishes from the menu. Everything was superb; there were a large number of amuse-bouche selections which were served to us. The wine list was almost 40 pages, complete with selections for every price range. The service was phenomenal, and the staff was incredibly nice to our party. I couldn't be happier, and would recommend this restaurant to anyone!

I had a fantastic birthday meal at jung sik. The space is refined but comfortable. Decided to go with five courses-why not? the wine pairings were some of the best wines paired with dishes that i've experienced. starting with a sherry with the mushroom appetizer was such a treat! the service was friendly and was a great complement to the refined food and space. i will recommend and return.
