Terrific selection of seafood - not just traditional. Delicious choices - crab cakes, salmon, blackened mahi. Salads available in half portions. Reasonably priced.

This place is amazing from the time you get in till the time you get out. The atmosphere and vibe of the interior decor mix old new Florida style. The food is flavorful with an emphasis on local fish. The plates are not to big and not to small but everything is a la carte. The menu is very simple with a very good selection. The wine list is short but it seems like pairing with food thought thru.

We stopped by for an early lunch before leaving town. Wished we had been for dinner, everything we had was fresh and delicious. Only wish we had been able to try more things! Server was pleasant, a little stiff for this style of restaurant. Could have been more friendly. But overall would highly recommend!

We all had great food and the staff awesome. We ordered a wide variety of drinks, appetizers and entrees. My 5 year old loved the broiled oysters, my 9 year old wanted to order more calamari and my 10 year old liked all that and more. The catfish basket and fish sandwich were hits with them as well. The adults ordered the grouper special, the grilled salmon and the broiled platter - ALL great!!!

I think this was the 5th or 6th visit here. Food was amazing and I must say, I have never been disappointed. This is the only place I don't hesitate about ordering fish - it's always fresh and wonderful. It is very noisy when trying to hold a conversation but when my husband and I have our young grand kids with us, we don't have to keep them quiet. Love this place.

There had been a lot of hype from my friends. They all had really good things to say so I decided to give it a shot. Keeping it short and sweet, Julington Creek Fish Camp lived up to our high expectations. I have never been able to eat greens and I've never liked grits. I wanted the blackened grilled mahi and it came with both grits and greens. Thought since I was ordering a few things I don't like that I may have to struggle through it. That wasn't the case. It was fantastic and I cleaned my plate! We will definitely be back.

We had the seafood boil. It was very well seasoned especially if you like things a little spicy. The only disappointment is the boil is supposed to feed two but in our opinion there is really only enough seafood for one person (or at least one guy as my friend could have eaten it himself). Unless the other person fills up on the corn & potatoes you'll be wishing you had more seafood. We've had boils for two at other fish camps and it seemed they had much more seafood on them although you may have paid slightly more. Will definitely go back but will probably order something else.

Delicious! Nice selections and prompt. Very casual, laid back atmosphere, but upscale food....Pricey with cocktails, one shared appetizer and two shared desserts. $125.00 for three people with taxes & tip. Plus $5.00 Valet park tip. Very loud difficult for those hard with hearing loss.

Took our out of town guests for lunch as we have been raving about this place since they opened and once again, they did not disappoint! We wanted the steamed mussels but found out they were only offered during dinner. However out waiter went the extra mile and had the kitchen prepare them for us anyway, and they were delightful. The blackened mahi sandwiches were giant slabs of flaky mahi which were awesome!

This was my 5th visit to JCFC since they opened. I have not been disappointed yet. Took an out of town visitor here because I think it is that special and enjoyable. Food was excellent. One of us ordered the wahoo special and is still raving about it. Regular menu items excellent as well. Best fried green tomatoes ever! Service always friendly and I appreciate how the servers know the food -- descriptions are always helpful. Highly recommend.

Just have a problem with the seating along two sections by the windows. There is no back support for the person that has to sit in front of the windows, & you have the feel of sitting on a box. There are metal bars that slant against the wall that are not even close to your back. Dining with no back support is very uncomfortable. We have had to sit there 4 times but will request to sit elsewhere from now on. Whoever designed those didn't put a lot of thought in the process. Other than that, everything else is very good.

The menu is very limited. Appetizer menu very limited. However the food tasted fabulous! The drinks were perfect. The consistent, fresh, presentation and taste of their food/menu keeps us coming back to all The Fish Camps! The best Shrimp & Grits in Jacksonville, FL and the service is wonderful. The wine selection ranges from the ridiculous to the everyday taste - that everyone can afford. We dined on my Birthday....a night of tremendous lightening and thunder storms. The restaurant was filled - with folks 'waiting'. A great meeting place, great water view location and overall - our favorite! (In fact, we cancelled the 'special' dinner at another restaurant, as I really wanted to be here). Great Night!

The atmosphere is best in area. Sitting upstairs, inside gets very loud, so an important business meeting is not recommended. The menu is thorough and prices fair. I was not impressed with the PEI mussels. They were small, chewy and the sauce was just off. The watermelon salad was a big hit. If you're into portion size, my two appetizers for my dinner were more than enough, especially for the price. My dining companion's fish dinner would be compared to Bonefish in size and price, though not quite as tasty. Her sides, along with the fish all blended together, making for one big taste bud overload. The waitress was attentive though don't expect expert wine descriptions. After all, its a fish camp not a wine bar.

He was personable and always made sure we were taken care of. The fish tacos were fresh and delicious. My friend said the shrimp and grits were the best she's ever had. This company knows good food and service at all of their locations. Great addition to this side of town and I know this location will do well

Took my wife based on all the rave reviews but was actually not impressed with much. The service was good except that we felt rushed. I know they want and need to turn the tables over often to be profitable, but it was a little too obvious. Also the food was good, but not great. The fried clam bellies were the best part of the meal. The fried gator tail was okay but the artichoke was blah. Our main course selections were decent but not memorable. Pricing was fair.

We are new to the area and had been driving by a lot. We were curious and I saw how full the parking lot looked each evening at 6 to 6:30 pm. We made reservations online using the Open Table system. Easy. Made a special request to have a window table. They had valet parking but there were available self park spaces close by. Our table was ready by the window. Service was good. Kitchen fast and timely. Food delicious. Not cheap but reasonably priced for excellent food. View was ...ok. Our table was not on the water per se but we could see it. Better views from the tables on the outside deck. Next time. And there will be a next time!

Love this restaurant and so glad to see it come to the area and take advantage of the amazing view of Julington Creek, but the noise level in the upstairs dining room is just too much. If it weren't so hot outside we would have dined there. The waitress actually has to almost yell to tell the specials and then we still strain to hear her.

This was our 3rd time here, 2nd time for lunch, the food was THE BEST of all 3 visits and it was really good every other time. The waitress was rather not very attentive and didn't really listen to what we said. She totally forgot my beer order and had to ask the person that brought our food, then after our food came, she came back 3 times within 5 minutes and asked how our food was. Then she took away the condiments while my wife was still eating and we had to ask for cocktail sauce for her to finish her meal. She was probably just having an off day.
