  • "I love having lunch at Juliette. The service is prompt, the food offerings has a wide selection from gourmet salads and sandwiches. If you can, order some refreshing rose to accompany the pork belly sandwich. I only dined there for dinner once, but plan to come back to try other small plates in the menu."

  • "My husband and I don't always find time to satisfy our inner foodies and this was such an unexpected treat. We went to an early dinner to avoid any additional noise I read about with the normal trendy dinner crowd and it was perfect. The ambiance is dark and woody, very comfortable and clean. I was so surprised, considering the outside strip mall was slightly deceiving. That on top of amazing food and absolutely superb service, We found a new gem. We don't drink but there was a plethora of wine options and an entire wine store inside of the restaurant for anyone interested. Very chic."

  • "My husband and I went for dinner on a Thurs. nite. We started with cold smoked trout with breakfast radishes & pork cheeks with kabocha squash. The trout salad was ok but there wasn't much trout. I would not order this dish again. There were 2 huge pieces of pork cheeks & they were so tender. Very tasty! For entrees we had the pork shank & the striped bass. My husband loved the pork. It was falling off the bone but I didn't think the flavor was quite there. The bass was cooked perfectly. It was moist & the skin was super crispy. The only negative is that it can get very loud here. Noise level is not quite as bad during the week. Nice place. We will definitely go back."

  • "OC REgister said Juliette was one of top new restaurants in OC and my wife and I agree we had an excellent experience from start to finish. Service was attentive and present. Wine list has lots of little known and interesting stuff. Wine flights of 3 oz available (a fixed three for that night) , scotch and beer flights too. Interesting cocktail menu. We shared a Kale salad a risotto dish and a striped bass dish. We are not huge eaters and amounts were plenty for us to share and quality of each was unique and outstanding"

  • "I live near this restaurant and have been eating here since it opened. I have introduced many friends to Juliette's. The food is always outstanding. The service is efficient and friendly. The only thing I dislike is the high noise level. It is sometimes difficult to hear your dining companions' conversation. If I have someone I need to really discuss something with, I select somewhere other than Juliette's."

Starting with the cardamom old fashioned, a charcuterie plate that included a mole salami that is ridiculous good, the kale salad, and the aged NY steak with a wine reduction sauce and chanterelle mushrooms. Wash that down with a 2009 Muga Reserva and it's hard to complain about life."

  • "What can I say, it is "always great". I am so hooked on the Turkey sandwich. This turkey sandwich is not just any turkey sandwich. They roast their turkey on the premises and served it with the best artisan bread. I have to kick myself from the turkey habit and try some more dishes. I love the burger, farro risotto, smoked trout salad, kale salad and beet salad. I now need to broaden my horizon and try some new dishes."

  • "Everything we ordered was very yummy. We started with the arugula and beet salad, pork cheeks and brussels sprout from the starter/small plates menu. Then we shared the pork shank entrée. This was plenty of food for hubby and I and he is a big eater. It was a little too much pork for me to have both the pork starter and entrée. I wish we would have ordered the duck instead but hubby no likey the quack quack. Also, the cocktails were inventive and interesting. My husband ordered the Sazerac and I ordered the Cardamom Old Fashioned, both of which were a little unusual but quite flavorful. The decor was nice but a bit ordinary and not super romantic, which is why I only gave 3 stars for ambience."

Had venison and my valentine had a NY steak which were near perfect. First time try venison, not gamey at all. Ahi and pork belly courses were very tasty. Very nice wine selection!"

  • "The service was horrible, for lack of a better word. I ordered the chicken sandwich and the server brought me a fish sandwich. When I was finally able to get someone's attention, it took 15 minutes to get the right order. By this time the rest of my party was half way through their meal. I will go back and hopefully the service is better next time."

There was not a single dish, from the meat & cheese, the starter or the main dish that disappointed in any way. Truly unique combinations, such as the pear & vanilla bean jam with the meat & cheeses and the apply curry with the lamb dish. I have already recommended it to several friends."

  • "We enjoyed our first visit to this restaurant. Went on a Saturday night and it was crazy busy. Every table full! Food was very good. Shared several small plates and a meat and cheese plate to begin with. Very unique take on each dish. Loved the gnocchi, scallops and mussels. Service was very good-even with how busy it was. Water glass was constantly refilled. Crowd is very much couples in their 30's and 40's. Very energetic and loud at points. Will try it again for sure."

The entree selection is limited but there are a lot of interesting and tasty appetizers on the menu. Easy to make an enjoyable meal by ordering and sharing several appetizers. Also, Juliette offers one of the better wine lists with surprising breadth and depth and reasonable prices."

  • "This was my second time at Juliette and I was blown away again by the service and food. I started at the bar, having a Manhattan. It was outstanding. My experience with Manhattans is that they are either too strong or just made weird, this one was perfect. Additionally, there was a guy at the bar who was in the whiskey biz, he and and bartender were great conversation until my date arrived. After getting seated my date and I ordered several dishes off the several small plates. We were particularly impressed by the pork cheeks, the jus and veggies were amazing. My date really liked the gnocchi. The service was just about perfect, Maria was attentive and helpful. I will definitely be back and spread the word!"
