  • "Beautiful restaurant, beautiful food. Everything was delicious - we ordered 6 different tapas items and they were all spectacular. Our waiter was not quite as spectacular. We ordered two sangrias, a white and a sparkling. He brought us a red and a sparkling. He said "Keep it" and brought a white sangria. He them charged us for the one he told us to keep. He came over later and asked for my order, then walked away without getting my friend's order."

Everything was delicious, especially the "bomba," lamb pintxo and eggs with chorizo and fries. Super Spanish wine list with amazing choices. All for a decent price.   • "Of seven high-end Vegas restaurants on a recent visit, all paled in comparison to this (and Sage-Aria) - each of eight different tapas was impeccable with top-notch wine pairings suggested by staff. Service was confident, cordial, and beautifully timed. In this day of "celebrity chef" dining, one too often feels that the hand of the chef hasn't been felt in the house for months, but not here - an extraordinary evening that I will recommend to everyone I know!"

  • "Having been to a number a well-regarded tapas restaurants in NY. DC, and SF Bay Area I was disappointed in Serrano's at the Aria. The restaurant itself is beautiful and relaxing for lunch. Service was a little rushed (serving all the dishes at once instead of pacing them). We had the oxtails (good), lobster fidea, piquillo peppers (just ok) and cheese (served cold instead of room temp). I was especially disappointed in the wine list which lacked any Spanish or Basque Rosé. Not sure I would recommend to lovers of Spanish food and wine."

  • "Arrived 10 mins before our 7.30pm reservation to be told restaurant was busy and we would have to wait about 20 mins for a table. Staff seemed disinterested and directed us to bar where we had to stand another 10 mins to get served drinks. At table service was slow and again restaurant seemed to be in chaos. Ordered 4 tapas plates, two of which we had to wait a further 20 mins for after first two arrived. Food was barely warm and presentation poor (looked like it had been thrown together in a rush by kitchen). Very disappointed that no-one offered any apology for delays or poor service. I would not recommend Julian Serrano and will not be going there again."

  • "I came in with a group of 13 girls. The overall ambiance and food were great, but our server not so much. I told her we needed to get out by 9:15 because we had a very strict timeline and that is about all she delivered on. She took down our orders, but after she took our orders she didn't repeat them back to us. Because of that she wrote down several of our orders incorrectly. Our food came out one at a time. Seriously?! One of our girls didn't even get her food until several of us had finished eating. When she finally did get her food she had to wait longer because they gave her the salmon instead of the salmon cake she had ordered. They brought me the baby back ribs, when I ordered the short ribs. Overall, I do not recommend this place!"

  • "From the calamari to the chorizo everything was great. We had this chicken dish, that I can't remember the name, but it was grilled on a bamboo skewer with onion and apricots. It was the best! The combination was unusual so we had to try it and wow, were we glad we did. The Red Sangria was killer. The light hint of Cinnamon at the end really added to the complexity of the flavor. Prices were reasonable for Las Vegas and for a tapas restaurant."

  • "our particular waiter was not the best neither was the Sangria which I was a bit disappointed with this being a Spanish restaurant. The food presentation was pretty, portions are small, sangria was water down so have them chill the wine and not add ice on the Sangria pitcher. I highly recommend the bacon wrap figs very yummy! Overall its a great place to hang out meet friends."

  • "Dined at Serrano on a Friday night and the place was hopping. Our service never wavered, however, and tapas dishes came quickly and throughout the evening as we added more along the way. The sangria was delicious and apparently potent! The wine suggested to us was a good choice and the food was delicious. We especially liked the sliders and the peppers. The mixed baby romaine salad was refreshing, as was the white ceviche. Other good choices included bomba and oxtail. Not as crazy about the black rice, but I'm really not a squid person. Overall a great dining experience!"

Tapas prepared and presented in a manner I expected from Julian Serrano, a respected and recognized Las Vegas/restaurateur. I rate the restaurant ambiance as very lively. Although extremely busy, the service was executed with precision. There is a variety of Tapas certain to satisfy the preferences of various guests. Wine list is excellent featuring some great Spanish varieties. Will please anyone seeking a true Spanish Tapas dining experience. For What They Do - They Do Well. I can summarize by stating: There are two classes of Tapas restaurants - One Good, The Other Better. Juilan Serrano excels in the "Better" category."

  • "At $39 p/p, the Prix Fixe early evening dinner special can't be beat. The food was quite good overall, with some outstanding dishes. That said, we both found the service cold and unprofessional. When we asked for the prix fixe menu, which was advertised on their website, the waiter simply turned without a word, walked away, then came back a few seconds later and dropped the menus on the table without further comment. Rough around the edges, but worth the price."

  • "I took my family for a nice, cosy dinner in a decent restaurant, that is within the hotel we've been staying. However it didn't turn out to be a good enough experience for us. Here's why. We ordered 2 goat cheese salads, and 3 main dishes for a party of 3. Our dishes were lamb chops (x2) and chicken. They were expensive plates, around 35 bucks per plate, so we were expecting some decent amount of food. But the portions we received, especially lamb chops wouldn't even feed a 8 year old kid. There were literally 2 tiny chops and 8 slices of baked potato on the plate. Same for goat cheese salad, which had a thumb sized cheese and a few green leaves. I paid 180 bucks and left hungry; if this is the way 'gourmet' food is made, I am out."

  • "We are locals and live in the Las Vegas area and rarely go to thee strip for dinner...too crowded and too many tourists. Except for Julian Serrano's eatery which will always give you great food, great service and great fun to visit. Then place is run like a swiss watch, many servers and people attending to your wants. Every dish we have ordered was perfectly prepared and the menu selection is extensive. Julian is apprrently a hands on owner wihl a name, unlike some of the other TV chefs that have opened places on the strip. Overall, highly recommended."

  • "This was one of the best dining experiences of the year for us! The yellowfin tuna was so divine we ordered a second round and saved it to be our last bite of the meal. Peppers stuffed with goat cheese and the mixed seafood ceviche were also stars. There's nothing pedestrian about this menu with so many selections--we will certainly come back again to try other mouth-watering choices. I finished off with the pistachio tart and ice cream which did not disappoint. I am now a fan of Julian Serrano's and would love to try any restaurant where he is executive chef!"

  • "This was our first visit to JS and it will not be our last. It was the best sangria I've ever had, by far (we had the white). I ordered the sliders and tuna cones and they were as tasty as they were unique. My wife had the duck confit and rizzoto and she loved her's as much as I loved mine. Keep on doing what you are doing in the kitchen! Our server was very polite and informative, as he helped steer me towards the sliders. Also, I loved the bathroom décor! I was very happy with my visit and I'm going to tell as many people as I can how JS is a "must visit" when on The Strip!"

  • "Our main waiter IGOR was outstanding. pleasant . knowledgeable and accommodating. When we first entered the restaurant we asked to sit at a round table and the girl who showed us to our table refused saying it was for 6 not 4. The restaurant was 90% empty and we were celebrating Father's day. A female server was rude and dropped our plate unevenly on the table. The food was amazing so other than the slight hitch in service, it was fine."

  • "I love sharing tapas amongst a small group of people and this restaurant is great for that. We order quite a couple of dishes which was actually a lot for us (3 people) especially given that we also ordered paella. Although I love Spanish food and like to try it everywhere I go, I have not been to Spain and cannot say what is authentic, and every place varies. Overall all of the food was good and the waiter/waitress (don't remember which) was very helpful and honest in recommending dishes to try."

  • "We found the food to be average.This was the worst meal that we have had in vegas.The mussels were tasteless and the rib was very tough and fatty.The wrong dessert was given to my husband and when we spoke to the waiter he shrugged,said it was wrong and would get the correct one sent out. When the bill came we were given another tables and when questioned again the waiter gave the same reaction. At no time was an apology offered or given for the mistakes made It was poor service and very unusual for Vegas.Very disappointing!!"
