We were able to make a reservation for Saturday evening, which was perfect. All of the staff were excellent. We loved our server (Darrin, I think?). All of the food was superb. We would love to return sometime!"

  • "My colleague and I were in Chicago for a conference. I checked out Joe's great reviews on Open Table and made reservations for dinner on July 8th. We were so pleased with Joe's. The service was amazing. Our meals were delicious. The waiter was very helpful. I could not decide between ad a crab cakes and crab stuffed shrimp and asked our waiter's for his opinion. He said he would asked them to do one of each! My colleague had Joe's scallops. We both had peanut butter pie for dessert which was incredible. We talked about how awesome Joe's was for two days and on our last day in Chicago (July 10th) we returned to Joe's for lunch! Our lunches were delicious. Our waiter at lunch was also great."

The "south beach peach" was phenomenal. The staff were very attentive to our needs!! Joe's is outstanding! Havana pie and peanut butter pie were wonderful!   • "I reserved this table for my wife's and I 4 year Anniversary. When we were sat the server was friendly and helpful. Everything was great until we got our appetizer. We ordered grilled calamari (didn't even know it was a thing)and received fried. I let our server know so she corrected it but after that she rarely visited our table and instead would visit the tables next to us multiple times. We sat with empty plates for awhile as others were getting theirs picked up and getting serviced literally the people we were talking to about 1/2 to 1' away from us. So I wasn't to happy about the type if service we received. I don't know if she did this because we were young and assumed a bad tip or she was mad about the appetizer but it was wrong."

  • "We had a magnificent experience from making a reservation online to exiting the doors with our neatly packed desserts to go. The Alaskan King Crab legs with drawn butter were perfect with generous portions of meat and came pre-cracked by wait staff so you don't have to worry about mess or ruining your nice clothes. Sides were separate but large enough to share and all delicious, although the mashed potatoes, fried asparagus, four cheese mac all had similar flavored crust. We are from out-of-state and would definitely come here again."

  • "Everything about our dining experience was absolutely perfect! We had questions about a couple wines. The waiter explained what he could, but he wasn't familiar with one of the wines. He then got the sommelier to come and answer all of our questions as well as make a great suggestion! Calamari was absolutely tender. My wife and I split the king crab legs and the bone-in filet. They were each cooked perfectly. After dinner, we somehow had room for desert. They are big on pies. I can't remember the name of the one we got, but it was described to taste similar to creme brulee. It was sweet but not too heavy. My wife and I have dined at many places across the country. This is in the top 5 for each of us."

The good service continued during the meal, i had one of the best steaks I've ever eaten and my wife enjoyed alaskan king crab.   • "I went here with my wife for our anniversary. The waitstaff was attentive and knowledgeable, particularly about her gluten allergy. The steak was prepared phenomenally, perfectly medium-rare with a marvelous crust. I've never had stone crab before so I can't compare it to other stone crab, but it was light and delicious and very worth trying. Less sweet than snow crab, but with a better flavor. The ambiance is open and good for groups, but we had a large booth in the corner for just my wife and me, which was very nice. Overall I would definitely recommend Joe's."

  • "We were seated by the kitchen, then given a list of specials which included 6 select stone crab. When I ordered, I was told by the condescending waiter that they ran out at 4pm! That would have been nice to know when we checked in with the maître de. We instead each ordered a very large appetizer called " the whale" . It was aptly named not for the massive whale, but evidently for the tiny krill that they eat! We did have a decent bottle of white wine, but had to eat later on after spending $230. I never had a problem in Miami at Joes. I also understand that fresh seafood is sometimes limited. We should have just gotten up and left, but my southern upbringing makes that hard."

  • "Everything at Joe's is great, don't get me wrong. However, this service experience was sub-par. 1. We requested a specific server. She was working, but we were not seated with her. Not the end of the world, but frustrating. 2. It was my parents anniversary and we specifically told that to the host (with a tip), expecting an acknowledgement (they've done a free dessert before, not too much to ask considering it's a few hundred dollar meal). At the end, no dessert was ever brought (we ordered our own), and the host deflected responsibility. Not the end of the world, but frustrating considering the quality of the establishment. For such prices it's fair to expect them to acknowledge special events-imagine if it was someone's birthday."

  • "We have been to Joe's many times and it was always a treat. Therefore I chose it to celebrate my friends birthday along with our adult children. The evening could not have been more perfect. Our waiter Steve was charming, helpful, patient and very knowledgeable about the food and the wines. We had a wide selection of food at the table and everything was perfectly prepared and every bite enjoyed. We will be back soon."
