  • "We have eaten at Jia 2 or 3 times a year. The food is excellent and the service is wonderful. The staff are friendly, attentive, and efficient. Highly recommend this restaurant. Calamari is the best I've had anywhere. I'm not a sushi fan but my sister is and she lives in a city where excellent sushi is available. She says the sushi here is outstanding."

  • "We had the Crispy Skin Snapper with the Citrus Ponzu for our shared entree after sushi and a shared salad second course. Just perfect it was with a nice, reasonably priced bottle of Sauvignon Blanc. It was the whole fish, snout to tail, delicately, perfectly fried. Among the best fish I've had in my life of any kind. The scoring technique made it easier to eat than you would expect. Chef even sent us out an amuse bouche! This restaurant has NEVER disappointed."

  • "When in Rome do like the Romans do. The steak house next door was closed on Sunday. They serve steak. (20 ounce Ribeye Bone in) No one should have to saw their steak) In fairness , the serve was great, music was for 21yr olds, prices were reasonable, and I would go back, just not for steak."

How hard is it to put flavor into a dish or at least serve it hot? For the prices they charge you could eat out twice at one of the local Biloxi Asian restaurants and get the same or better food."

  • "I've never had fish just melt in my mouth before until I went here. Had the Traditional Trio which is Halibut, Butterfish, and Scallop. The Halibut was good but the Butterfish and Scallop made me want to go back and raid the kitchen. The Chef stopping by to say hi and explain some things on the menu was pretty awesome. The staff we encountered had a great attitude and really made the whole experience a big positive!"

  • "It was the most amazing dining experience of my life. It was comfortable, romantic and the service was perfect. The food was delicious especially the dessert. The tart with the banana gelato was out of this world. The spacing of the tables provided a certain level of privacy which made the experience more enjoyable. My girlfriend and I reconnected at this dinner and it will always be a special place for me."

  • "We had great service, but compared to other restaurants in the area, I didn't think the value was there if I compare to places like Prime & Ruth's Chris. I know it is a different kind of cuisine, but I ordered a trio of their seafood specialties. Presentation was beautiful, but for $35 (for just entree), I received 1 small scallop & 2 small pieces of fish. I was told that the $30+ scallop only dish is only 4 scallops. If they are the same size as what I received, I would be dissatisfied with that pricing vs portion. Maybe the scallops were just small this particular evening. Our server, however, was great & the atmosphere is always nice. This is our 2nd time dining at Jia & now I know why we must not have been anxious to return."

They kept playing Daft Punk's - Get Lucky - over and over and over... They need more professional training for the staff. (The casino has dropped the ball here on this point). The food was not good. The sushi was dry and over processed. The orange chicken could have been MUCH better. Nothing was outstanding, it was not an enjoyable outing and we won't be back."

When we returned to the coast this last weekend it was first on my list for dinners. We had the Crab Rangoon's, they left little to be desired, and of course I ordered the War Won Ton soup. The flavor, quality, and quantity had diminished GREATLY. I have no plans to return."

Our server was practically nonexistent for most of the meal. And, for the price I was expecting a higher-end dining experience, I guess. The flames and yelling coming from the hibachi were really distracting."
