Overall our night was great. However the music was WAY too loud. As I also work in the food and beverage industry I know how important music is to the atmosphere. Hunters Landing isn't a dance club though. None of us could hear each other speak and we were sitting beside each other and across the table. Our server was even yelling at us. The volume kept increasing throughout our meal. We ended up skipping dessert and having one more drink each because we simply couldn't have a conversation anymore. I'll still come back as I live across the street and the food is great but please...keep the music at a normal decibel.

I tried this place for brunch on a Sunday and actually made a reservation because I thought it'd be busy. That was not the case at all, which might explain why our food arrived less than 10 minutes after we ordered it (I always start doubting whether things are made from scratch when the food arrives that quickly). I had the pulled pork eggs benny (I think it was called "bishops"), my friend had the "hunters" eggs benny and our other friend had the tuna ceviche. The meal was decent, not excellent by any means...the potatoes were quite cold and so was the pulled pork. In terms of cleanliness, my friend's water glass had some lipstick marks that were definitely not hers, so that was pretty gross. Service was great, no complaints there.

Went to this restaurant out of convenience but found an absolute gem! Was pleasantly surprised to find a live musician playing as we arrived and enjoyed the music while we dined. Food and drinks were fantastic and very well priced for portions.

When my boyfriend & I were seated, the table was a mess & our host did a lazy job of cleaning it off and didn't bother to reset the table with cutlery, glasses, etc. What's more is that no one made themselves available to give me cutlery. I had to get some myself from an empty table. Our waitor was nice but it occurred to me only after my steak arrived that he didn't even ask me how I wanted it cooked. The food wasn't bad, though. Overall service was pretty poor despite there appearing to be ample staff.

We were all really looking forward to the #1 caesar in the city. Unfortunately, all menus but one had been updated; slider was replaced with pizza slice. When we pointed out the inconsistency in the menu, the server called over a more senior member of staff. She gave us several excuses as to how the menu has changed but eventually conceded by "paying" for an order of sliders. The service only got worse. Everyone was full of attitude and when our server forgot to punch in part of our order, he made up an excuse as to how it went to another table. Despite the fact that the food was actually quite nice, I would not recommend this place nor would I return. We really felt that the situation could have been handled more professionally.

Went there on a Friday night. The staff came around often to inquire what we needed but got the orders wrong twice. Food is hit or miss. The soup is absolutely amazing, meanwhile the lamb burger and the pizzas were terrible. Lamb was extremely dry, the 2 pizzas were tasteless.

It's situated in a jungle of condos, and is a great place for the neighbourhood to gather. Food is just OK considering the price, wine list is passable. It is spacious inside and has a huge patio, so no problem in finding a table. We sit near the bar and the service there was a bit confusing, I couldn't find our server, but everyone was willing to help.

Very good drinks. Our server rarely walked by our table to see how we were or asked if we needed anything else. Was not offered water but since she rarely walked by I didn't bother asking. My lobster benedict was yummy, however the roasted potatoes could be better.

First issue was that the front desk said I didn't have a reservation - despite their calling me to confirm and me showing them my open table reservation! But we did get seated after some tense words. There were two big concerts on that night and the World Cup - they were not prepared and were totally understaffed. We couldn't get drinks for close to 30 minutes because their 'system' wasn't working, and our food was very average. It was a gong show. Management need to be aware of what is going on and schedule staff accordingly.

Booked Hunters Landing prior to a Jays game on good UrbanSpoon reviews. It did not disappoint. Service was good as was the food. A good beer list and many different menu options ideal for sharing. Would definitely return. This appears to be a very popular restaurant in a young waterfront area condo neighbourhood.

My fiancé and I brought our moms and my dad to HL for dinner in Saturday night. Reserving our table online was easy and the restaurant called to confirm which was nice. The food at HL is delicious and special as they offer menu items you won't find at other restaurants (try the lamb tagliatelle, you won't be disappointed). Our table was right in front of the band but they were finishing as we came in so all was good. I would highly recommend HL for anyone (especially in the neighbourhood) who enjoys food.

First time there and enjoyed the food. Quality is quite good with normal sized portions. Service was good, though could be even more refined and personable. They seem to be going for the Moxie's/Joey's/Earl's type of look but slightly more casual. Noise levels were likely higher due to the Friday night bar scene - made it a little harder to converse even when seated on the opposite end of the room. Best patio in Cityplace.

Hunter's Landing did not disappoint. It was easy to get a last minute reservation due to the sheer size of the two-story restaurant. The fish tacos were served in large, toasted flour tortillas (perhaps a bit too large for the fish inside) and topped with a mixed tropical jicama slaw - my favourite type. The fish was coated in a crispy, classic-chicken-finger-like coating, as opposed to your typical beer or tempura batter. This made for quite an unusual but tasty texture. The menu promised avocado and grilled pineapple, of which the tacos were unfortunately lacking. My friend thoroughly enjoyed a large turkey burger with perfectly crispy sweet potato fries and chipotle aioli. Overall, a great meal alternative to Milestone's or Moxies.
