Harbour LightsMisses the mark, but not by much.This restaurant is right on the edge of being spectacular. Salad course was tasty. The main course was wonderful. We ordered a pricey side dish that was lame. Setting and view are idyllic. There were candles (with inexpensive tea lights) on every table and sconces all around with candles, none of which were ever lighted. Who are they saving them for? The live music on the outdoor deck was too loud (and awful) and they left the door open so the music could be heard in the dining room which still had the background music playing at the same time. Staff was having discussions about tables and strategies within earshot. The food was good; I wouldn't say it was great. I had the soft shell crabs. The server said they were sauteed; the but they actually looked and tasted like they were deep fried. They were very crunch and tasty. For me the issue was sauteed vs deep fried. The view was very nice though and the setting was just right for us. One of the entrees was over-salted and seemed a bit too greasy. In the Opentable special requests section, I told the restaurant that it was my wife's birthday and that it would be great if they could come out with a small dessert with a candle in it. I wasn't sure if they would actually read my message; however, they did read it and fulfilled my wish with over the top service. The dessert was delicious. The entire meal was delicious... my wife had the "Spice Rubbed Shrimp Fettuccini" and I had the "Shrimp & Corn Crusted Flounder"; both were excellent. Service was excellent.
