Grappa Italian RestaurantLovely!Delicious bread, fabulous outdoor view, one of the best steaks my husband claims to have ever had. My chicken was fantastic, and the mashed potatoes were to die for. We had the chocolate creme brulee for dessert, which was soooooo good. A wonderful experience!6/7/2013 12:00:00 AMgreat locals dealsWe haven't been to Grappa in years, fairly pricey, but we found an ad in the paper for locals specials and thought we'd go there for our daughter's 19th birthday. It was fantastic. Food and service were great. Flat bread, lasagna, chicken and seafood dish were all very tasty with a depth of flavor. Desserts were also very good, portions were large-we had chocolate creme brulee and an apple tart with surprisingly tasty panacotta. The value was superb, it's too bad they can't have these wonderful prices the entire year. I got a pasta with chicken that cost $32 and it was a very boring dish. They said the pastA was made in house but it didnt taste that way. We also had a spinach cnochi appetizer and that was nothing special either. This Resturant either needs to lower their prices or change the menu. We had Cioppino and flatbread as appetizers as well as Caesar and house salads. All were excellent. For our entrees, we had filets and Risotto. The filets were well seasoned and cooked to perfection and the clams and mussels in the seafood risotto were tender and deliciously prepared.

I must admit that the food simply doesn't live up to the expectation or the prices. My wife's red snapper dish was lackluster and small and served on the cool side. My lamb shank was tasty but the presentation was weak.
