There was a special for $28 we got an appetizer (shrimp brucchetta or empanada) a main course 9 salmon with a white wine caper sauce) and a dessert ( lava cake or panqueques with a carmel sauce). Our waitress who was a mother to be was very nice and the service was prompt. They also offered all you can drink mimosas or sangria for $9. This was a restaurant we had been to before in Santa Monica so we knew it would be delicious and it was!5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent food and serviceEvery week, my wife and I go on a 'date night', and this week I really felt like a good steak. The food at Gaucho Grill is excellent, and it is not as pricy as some of the other good steak places in LA. The service is also really good. There are two things to notice though: it can get pretty crowded on a Saturday night, and therefore a bit noisy, and the wait for the steaks is a bit longer than I am used to (about 15-20 mins I'd say), but other than that, it was a wonderful experience.
