The fact that it is absolutely exquisite food is almost beside the point... almost. We had the set three course menu of Italian food.5/18/2013 12:00:00 AMNice restaurantWe had an special guest and we decided to do something "different". That's why we went to Frank. It's a nice restaurant and people are very friendly. Service was good ad the food delicious. Anyway, as a personal opinion, I liked much more the ambiance & decoration of "AGORA" (the restaurant before this one in the AGO). But... It's a matter of taste. But in general was a god experience. Particularly because the have a "Dinner Menu" of three plates (entree, main, desert, coffee) for $45 which is not bad considering the place. Very recommendable.5/14/2013 12:00:00 AMA pleasant experienceOverall, this was a good experience for our party of four. Good service and good food, good drinks and not too much noise. I made a mistake in ordering the fish, should have gone for the veal, but that's the breaks of the game. I would return for another special occasion -- the bill for the four of us came close to $400 for us, so that's high in our books, and we couldn't afford it too frequently. But we had before-dinner drinks, a bottle of wine and dessert, so that's probably not bad for the centre of Toronto. I particularly enjoyed looking out the window at the row of old Toronto houses on Dundas -- hope they're protected by Toronto's heritage code; if not they should be since they certainly add to the ambience of a restaurant in the AGO.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMI had a slot for the 6 pmI had a slot for the 6 pm viewing of the Florence exhibit.
